Chapter 3: Team Six

The sun poured threw the window, onto Zero’s face as his eyes slowly opened.
“How annoying, it’s already morning.” He said slowly sitting up. He looked around and grabbed a brush that was lying next to him. For several minutes he sat there brushing his hair, so it wouldn’t get in his face. “Another morning, at this mansion… I guess I shouldn’t complain, it’s not like Hiashi-sama has to let me live here.” Zero then stood up and picked his cape of a chair in his room. He then quickly placed it around his neck as a click noise was heard, signifying he had put it on correctly. Zero looked around again and picked up a silver cornet with various symbols on it and placed it on his head. He then walked out of his room, and continued down the hall. “I wonder…” He said to himself as he approached Hinata’s room. The door was cracked open enough for him to peek in with one eye; he looked around her room seeing her alarm clock sitting on the ground reading seven fifty five a.m. He then turned his attention to Hinata’s face that was barely peeking out of the covers. “Still asleep, just like always. That means the alarm goes off in five minutes.” He said out loud to himself still watching her sleep. Zero then smiled to himself and quietly opened the door and walked in. He then walked next to her and knelt down and placed a hand on her shoulder shaking her back and forth. “Hinata-chan, time to get up.” He said in a soft voice still rocking her back and forth slowly, Hinata’s eyes began to open. She looked up to see Zero looking at her with a smile.
“Z-zero-kun?” She said softly. Zero then reached over and turned off her alarm before it could go off.
“Hinata-chan, time to get up and go.” He said still in a soft voice. Hinata stared at him for a moment before sitting up and looking around.
“W-why did you wake me up? I-I don’t want to waste your time…” She said thinking about yesterday. Zero just placed his hand on her head and smiled.
“No one likes the sound of an alarm clock, they would all rather be awoken by a soft and gentle voice. Wouldn’t you agree?” He asked standing back up and pulling out a roll of gaws.
“Um… y-yes... Maybe.” She said blushing and trying to cover her face. Zero began wrapping the gaws around his arm half way between his elbow and hand. “Th-thanks, Zero-kun.” Hinata said standing up. Zero reached out his arms to Hinata.
“No problem.” He said still having his arms out. Hinata stared at his hands wondering what he was trying to do. As if he was reading her mind he spoke again. “My gaws, Hinata-chan would you tighten them for me? It’s hard to do it with one hand and make sure they won’t unravel.” He said hanging his head, mocking great shame. Hinata chuckled slightly and began tightening his gaws. “Thank you, Miss Hinata-sama.” Zero then smiled and turned around to walk out of her room.

Den stood out side of the ninja academy building, waiting impatiently next to Sakura and Sasuke. “Where are they?” Den asked himself out loud, looking around. Sakura was to busy paying attention to Sasuke to notice he had spoken.
“Yo.” Someone said from behind Den. He quickly turned around to see Ryuu listing to his CD player.
“What took you so long?” Den asked with an annoyed voice.
“I got distracted by someone. No big deal.” Ryuu said leaning up against the building. “Where’s Iruka-sensei?” He asked staring at the sky.
“Don’t know, he is a bit late, or we are all too early.” Den said scanning the group of people standing out side with them. “Zero-kun isn’t here either.” Ryuu looked over and laughed a bit.
“Zero-kun, only gets here on time.” Ryuu said. Den looked over at him then back out towards group of people.
“Zero-kun?” A voice asked from next to Ryuu. Ryuu looked over slowly to see Sakura, who had been shrugged off by Sasuke. “Why is he always on time and never early?” She asked. Den slowly turned his head and stared angrily at Sakura, but this quickly subsided when she turned to him and smiled.
“Isn’t it obvious? He takes the longest rout he can, but still makes it on time.” Ryuu said looking back towards the blue sky.
“Why would he do that?” Den asked a bit interested in Ryuu’s explanation.
“You people are so slow…” Ryuu said shaking his head. At that moment a bell rung and the doors opened.
“See I told you we would be on time, Hinata-chan.” Zero’s voice said. “Just like always.” Everyone turned to see Zero and Hinata walking towards them.
“So there you are!” Den shouted, but Zero and Hinata just walked past him and went inside.
“You’ll be late if you guys wait out here.” Zero’s voice could be heard from the door way.
“Guess he’s right.” Ryuu said. He then walked off into the big crowed. Den just let out a heavy sigh as Sakura ran off and he was left standing alone.
“How, annoying.” He said looking towards the ground and walking inside.

Zero stood in the middle of a room staring at Iruka and Mizuki, both sitting at a table with pens and paper.
“Ok, Zero-kun as many clones as you can make.” Iruka ordered beginning to write something down.
“Clones, eh?” Zero said. “Ok Iruka-sensei, but I don’t know who else can do this, so I don’t see anyone else passing.” He continued beginning to forum seals.
“What?” Iruka asked a bit confused.
“Wait, Zero-kun what are you doing?” Mizuki asked noticing Zero’s seals didn’t match those of a Genjutsu clone technique.
“Doing want you said…” Zero said, he then stopped in his seals as his blood seeped from his gaws. “Blood Oni clones!” Zero yelled suddenly as the eight trails of blood hit the ground at once.
“W-what?!” Iruka stared in amazement as the eight trails of blood began moving across the floor. “What kind of-” Before Iruka could finish his eyes widened even more as the eight trails of blood began to raise and expand in till they transformed into perfect images of Zero.
“I can only make eight.” Zero said in a disappointed voice, not noticing that the two Chuunin had been staring in complete awe as his feat. Zero then looked at Iruka and Mizuki. “What?” He asked confused by there looks.
“How can you do that?!” Mizuki yelled as Zero stood there, unsure of what all the excitement was for.
“I made clones like you said…” Zero said as the clones began to melt back down into blood and flew back up to Zero’s gaws.
“That must be… the Zenhi power…” Iruka said still staring in awe. “Zero, you can go now. You pass.” Zero just stared at them for a moment before replying.
“How is anyone else going to pass? Or is the test different on each person?” Zero asked. Iruka then shook his head.
“The clones were supposed to be Genjutsu clones, but you obviously have… a more advanced version. To form real clones, before being even a gennin, isn’t a small feat.” Iruka said sitting back down in his chair. Zero just stared for a moment then laughed.
“So that’s what you meant. I found it kind of odd, that you wanted people to make real clones, when we haven’t been thought that.” Zero continued to laugh as he placed his shinai that was against the wall back on his back and walked out the door.

Zero stood out side with Ryuu who also had passed the exam. “So you think Den-san can do it?” Ryuu asked staring off at a rock.
“He will.” Zero replied in the normal tone. Zero began swinging at the air with his shinai as he stared into the distance in deep thought.
“Zero-kun!” A female voice yelled, Zero immediately recognized it as Ino and placed his shinai back in its place. He slowly turned to see her waving at him. “Did you pass, Zero-kun?” She asked walking closer. Zero just nodded then returned his attention to the doors waiting for any sign of Den or Hinata.
“Ino-pig!” Another voice yelled out, Zero turned in the other direction to see an angry Sakura staring in Ino’s direction. She began walking over.
“Well its about time I took my leave.” Ryuu said out of no were walking away turning up the volume of his CD player. All of a sudden Sakura and Ino were standing face to face glaring angrily at each other.
“Um girls...” Zero began to say but was interrupted.
“Shut up, forehead girl!” Ino yelled bearing a fist.
“Ino-pig, stay away from Zero-kun.” Sakura yelled back also bearing a fist. Zero just stared in fear at the display of anger formed by them both. After what felt to Zero like hours, Ino finally backed off and smiled at Zero.
“Ill leave you alone with forehead girl, its not like she has a chance with you anyways Zero-kun. I’ll just go over there with Sasuke-kun.” Ino then shot a dirty look towards Sakura and took off running calling out. “Sasuke-kun!!” Zero watched her for a moment before turning back to Sakura, who was now standing next to him looking up at him with a smile and wide eyes.
“Hello Zero-kun.” She said. Zero just smiled back at here.
“Hello Sakura-chan. Did you pass?” He asked closing his eyes.
“Yes! I’m sure you passed as well Zero-kun, with a higher score than mine.” She said looking towards the ground faking sadness in her voice. Zero just laughed slightly and opened his eyes and looked towards the door. “Are you waiting for someone Zero-kun?” Sakura asked stepping closer to Zero. Zero looked at her with the corner of his eye.
“Yes.” He replied wondering what she was up to. Sakura took another step closer to him.
“And who would that be?” She asked standing right next to Zero.
“Den-san...” Zero said in a low voice as he felt Sakura’s head lean against his arm. “Sakura-chan? What are you doing?” He asked feeling a bit awkward. Zero looked towards the door to see Den walking towards them, with a very angry look on his face.
“I, just wanted to stand closer to you, Zero-kun.” Sakura said looking up at him. Zero pulled his head back noticing her face was getting closer. At this time Den was standing right next to Zero looking at him with a very disgusted look. Zero looked over at him, then at Sakura whose lips began to pucker. His eyes began widened.
“Sakura-chan?” He said starting to freak out, but then an Idea struck him and quickly performed seals. Suddenly Sakura felt her lips press against Zero’s.
<He’s letting me kiss him!> She thought to herself happily. She slowly opened here eyes to see Zero staring wide eyed. <I knew he liked me!> She yelled again, but soon Zero began to vanish from her vision and in place of him was Den. “WHAT?!” She yelled jumped back and spitting at the ground. Den fell onto the ground still wide eyed and not moving. “Den-san what the hell did you do?!” She yelled holding her throat like she was dieing from poison. At this laughter came from a tree they stood next to.
“Replacements are handy in tight situations.” Sakura looked over at the tree to see Zero laughing.
“Zero-kun?! That wasn’t nice!” Sakura yelled looking at him angrily.
“Aw Sakura-chan I’m sorry.” He said looking at the ground with a sad look. “I know… It wasn’t nice, but it sure was fun!” Zero then smiled and jumped off the tree landing next to Hinata who had been standing there watching for a while. “Come Hinata-chan we have to celebrate your passing of the exam.” Zero said placing a hand on her head.
“Ze-Zero-kun, we should celebrate you, not me.” Hinata said tapping her fingers together.
“Hinata-chan, don’t argue with me!” He said pushing her in the direction of the town. “We do as I say, and I say that it’s more important that you passed then me.” Zero began laughing as they to walked off, out of Sakura’s sight.
“Zero-kun...” Sakura said slowly. “You’re so clever, and romantic.” She finished and walked away smiling to herself. Den still laid there on the ground with his eyes wide and seemingly paralyzed.

Ryuu walked nonchalantly down the street, bobbing his head to his CD player, his hands behind his head, staring upward toward the sky. This relative peace however was shattered by some children's shouting, which Ryuu heard over the volume of his music, causing him to turn in the direction of the noise's origin. A small gathering of children were all encircling something, tossing about what looked to be a rice cake, and laughing hysterically all the while. Wondering what these children were up to, Ryuu changed his direction, and walked to the small clearing where the event was taking place, and where he stood behind the kids, and peering over their heads.
"What are we doing here? Hmm?" He asked, acting as if he was uninterested, as he noticed what the group was doing, teasing a small dog with the food. Caught unaware by Ryuu's sudden appearance, one of the kids quickly hid the rice cake behind his back, as the others all turned toward Ryuu, feigning innocence.
"N-nothing… We were just playing! That's all." One of the larger boys cried, as Ryuu pushed through the children, walking into the middle of the circle, and looking down on the small dog, which growled and backed away.
"Nothing, eh? He looks a little mad for 'nothing'…" Ryuu then bent over reaching toward the dog, which continued to growl and back away.
"Come here…" Ryuu started, as his hand finally caught up with the dog, and he quickly pulled it to himself, holding it against his chest.
"You kids have to be nice to animals, and maybe they won't be mean to-" Ryuu began, before his eyes shot wide open. The dog had begun urinating on his arm. Reactively Ryuu dropped the dog to the ground, and flung his arm around in an attempt to remove the substance, as the children began laughing at his failed attempt at a sermon.
"Be nice? So it will pee on us too!?" One of the boys taunted, as Ryuu regained his composure, and walked up to the boy, staring down on him.
"The only reason it did anything is because of you hoodlums! I ought to beat you each-" Before Ryuu could finish his sentence, however, another boy threw the rice cake, striking Ryuu dead in the face.
"Run!" one of the boys yelled, as the group scattered, leaving Ryuu standing in awe at the children's actions. Quickly raising his hand to his face, Ryuu knocked the rice cake to the ground, where the dog quickly rushed to it, and began eating. Turning his attention to this, Ryuu sat next to the dog, and looked it over more closely.
"It's very skinny… looks kind of beat up… and no collar… must be a stray." He announced to himself, as the dog finished its meal, then inched its way carefully toward Ryuu, who was watching all the while. Without saying anything, Ryuu stuck his arm out, and pulled the dog closer, then patted it on its head.
"A stray, eh? That must be pretty sad..." He then became quiet, debating what to do with the creature, as the dog pulled its head away and began licking Ryuu's wrist.
"Heh… guess it can't be helped… I may as well keep it… for a little while at least." Ryuu said under his breath as he stood up, realigning the CD player on his head, before turning toward the dog.
"Come on, boy… we're going to go for a walk…" As if understanding what he meant, the dog obediently followed Ryuu from behind, as the two walked down the road.

"Mmm…. Uhh…" Den groaned, as he finally came to, after the events of earlier that day. Still not completely awakened however, he laid quietly, cringing at a slight pain that continuously struck his side, though not opening his eyes to look toward it. After a moment, the annoying pain began to strike quicker, and with more force, to the point Den could no longer lay in a daze, and quickly swiped his arm over his side, striking something he found to be unfamiliar.
"What… in the…" Den stated under his breath, as he slowly opened his eye, to see something long, and gnarled pressing against his chest.
"S-snake!" Den yelled fearfully, quickly throwing his fist against the thing, jumping to his feet, and stumbling backwards, before tripping over himself and striking his head against the wall. He laid against the wall a moment, rubbing his head, before regaining his composure, only to see the thing poking at him again. Slowly backing his head away, he suddenly noticed an orange sleeve out of the corner of his eye. Quickly jerking his head to the side, he noticed the thing was not a snake at all, but a stick, that Naruto had been poking him with, while staring in a wide-eyed awe at Den's strange behavior.
"Are you… alright?" Naruto asked, slowly pushing the stick toward Den again, expecting the same reaction, as Den simply put his arm up, and pushing the stick out of the way.
"I-I'm fine… I was only surprised… that's all." Den replied, straightening the collar of his coat, and brushing himself off. Still staring in a slight stupor, Naruto slowly repositioned the stick, and prepared to poke Den yet again, only to have him grab the stick as it made contact.
"St-stop that… It's annoying…" Den said weakly, as Naruto finally dropped the stick, and placed his hands behind his head smiling widely.
"I just thought you were dead. You've been laying there for over two hours now-" Den's eye's shot open at hearing this, apparently catching him completely buy surprise.
"Two hours!? That can't be!" He proclaimed, believing Naruto couldn't be right, however Naruto simply continued his point.
"Really. You were there since school let out, two hours ago." Realizing this was probably true, Den spoke up against.
"I'm l-late… Good-bye, Naruto-san." Den said with a slight bow, as he turned toward the street, running quickly away.
"He really is odd…" Naruto proclaimed to himself, leaning over to pick up the stick, as he too turned down the road.
After a few moments, Den finally reached his home, and quickly charged in the door, throwing his shoes to the side, and running to the main quarters. A strange man, somewhat plump, completely bald and with bloodshot eyes exactly similar to Den's sat in a chair, with a stern look about his face.
"You're late! I said to be home right after school, and here it is, hours after the fact!" The man barked angrily, as Den quickly ran and stood in front of the man, and began bowing.
"I'm sorry uncle… j-just stuff happened, and I got caught up-" Before Den could finish his apology however, his uncle seized a slender wooden, walking stick, and quickly struck Den across the top of the head with it.
"Now, no more excuses! Did you pass the exam or not?" He asked, as Den rubbed his now throbbing head, and spoke again.
"O-of course I passed!" The cane struck Den's head once again, as his uncle spoke out again.
"Good, you've done well! But don't let it go to your head, arrogance is a dangerous trait! Now wash up, and go to bed. Think of it as your punishment for being late." At this, Den's uncle stood up, and exited the room, leaving Den alone clenching his head.
"He only hit twice… Uncle must really be proud of me this time..." Den said with slight sarcasm, under his breath, as he stood up. Before he could do anything, however, the door behind him creaked open slightly, and a small vase launched toward him, knocking him in the back of the head.
"I can sense your thoughts from here. Don’t back talk me! Now, you can water the houseplants too!" Came his uncles voice from outside, As Den lowered his head again, rubbing the new bump on the back of his head with one hand.
"Ow…that hurt…" Den said with a sniffle, before getting to work on his chore list.

"Th-th-thank you, f-for dinner… Z-Zero-kun…" Hinata said in a whisper, emerging from the door of a restaurant, Zero at her side, resting his hand on her head, ruffling with her hair.
"No more of that, I chose to take you out to celebrate, you shouldn't thank me, just enjoy yourself." Zero replied in an ordinary tone, as the two turned down the road, the sun setting behind them, as Hinata looked toward Zero a moment, before looking away.
"Thank… I-I mean a-alright…" She answered, feeling a bit embarrassed at having Zero being so close, but kept quiet of this fact. The two walked in relative silence until coming to a small intersection in the road, where Zero stopped.
"The sun isn't going down for a little while longer, it wouldn't hurt to take a small walk in the park, as long as you’re up for it… Hinata-sama?" Zero asked in a royal tone, as Hinata began to slightly blush, and quickly hid her face, before replying.
"O-ok…" She said in a very low whisper, tapping her fingers together, as Zero looked over to notice the fact.
"That bad habit again, eh?" He said with a laugh, pushing her forward, as he too began down the park's road. A quietness overtook the air again, as Hinata walked deep in thought, before turning her attention to Zero.
"Z-Zero-kun… I-I w-want t-to tell.. you some…" She started, before Zero's attention suddenly shot away from her, and toward a nearby clearing surrounded by bushes and trees. Sensing he was no longer paying attention to her, Hinata questioned.
"Z-zero-kun? Wh-what do you see?" To this, Zero said nothing, keeping his attention toward the bushes, before suddenly looking back at Hinata.
"Sorry, nothing… what were you saying?" He asked apologetically, though in those few seconds, she had lost her confidence.
"N-nothing…" She replied meekly, lowering her head a bit, as the two continued down the road again, simply enjoying the scenery. After a few moments, however, the bushes that had caught Zero's attention began to rustle, as Ino's head emerged.
"Damn it! I spend all day collecting information in secret, and the only things I learn are about that freak girl, and how she is never away from his side!" Ino blurted out angrily, as she stood from the bushes, brushing herself off, and walking to the road that Zero and Hinata had been walking on only moments earlier.
"I guess I learned more watching from the bushes than I would have directly walking into the two… Just wait though… Zero-kun, you just wait, I'll have you, yet!" She added, as a large grin overtook her face, she began laughing loudly at herself.

"How did you perform?" Hiashi asked outright, just as Zero entered the house, Hinata following from behind, her head still lowered. Going to the main room, Zero entered as Hinata stood reluctantly in the doorway, not entering.
Suddenly taking notice of this fact, however, Zero turned, seizing her wrist, and tugging for her to enter, which she did still slightly resisting.
"I passed." Zero answered bluntly, as Hiashi nodded agreeably, smiling slightly.
"To be expected of such a fine Ninja, as yourself, Zero-kun." Not content with this however, Zero spoke what was on his mind rather than taking the complement.
"But Hinata-chan also passed the exam." Hearing Zero bring up her name, Hinata looked toward him, then back toward Hiashi, who seemed uninterested in the fact.
"I see… Well I trust that you will keep up the effort, Zero-kun." Feeling left out, Hinata turned to the door, and walked out, as Zero quickly jumped to his feet.
"I will, Hiashi-sama…." He said under his breath, as he too left the room, following Hinata’s path, somewhat annoyed at the lack of care he sense.

Zero sat in-between Den and Ryuu in the back of the class. Zero had taken notice that Naruto was sitting in front of him.
“Naruto-san.” Zero said suddenly. Naruto quickly turned around with a huge smile on his face. “I thought you had failed?” Zero asked in a questioning voice. Naruto closed his eyes and started messing with his head band.
“Can’t you see this?” He asked Zero still smiling widely. Zero just laughed slightly.
“Don’t know what you did, but it must have been good. To have passed you, Naruto-san.” Zero said still laughing.
“Ayi, what’s that suppose to mean?” Naruto asked looking at Zero angrily.
“Nothing. Naruto-kun congratulations on passing.” Zero bowed his head to Naruto. Naruto did the same back and then looked over to see Ino and Sakura running into the class room.
“GOAL!” They both yelled at the same time.
“What?!” Ino yelled, looking at Sakura.
“I beat you forehead girl!” Ino yelled. At this time Zero had turned his attention to the two girls.
“Shut up Ino-pig I won!” Sakura yelled looking around; she focused her attention on Zero, who was just staring back. She began to smile at him for a moment, before examine that the seats near him were taken. <DAMN!> she yelled in her head still staring at Zero. Zero smiled back and turned his attention to the front of the class again.
“You’re, unusually early.” Den said suddenly. Zero turned to him and waited a moment before replying.
“I’ve been here for ten minutes and you’re just now pointing this out?” Zero asked him. Ryuu began laughing as he turned down his CD player.
“That’s just how Den-san is, slower than slow.” Ryuu said still laughing.
“Whatever.” Den said looking down at the desk.
“Good morning Sakura-chan!” Naruto yelled standing up waving at her. Sakura quickly ran by and knocked Naruto over.
“Out of my way!” She yelled. She quickly folded her hands together staring at Sasuke. “Sasuke-kun. May I sit with you?” She asked, Sasuke looked over at her for only a moment and didn’t bother to respond.
“Might as well sit next to him, Sakura-chan.” Zero suddenly said. She looked over at Zero who was staring intently at Sasuke. “I’m sure it would be organized that way, besides, Iruka-sensei will be here in a moment.” Zero then turned his attention to Naruto who was now in front of Sasuke on his desk staring directly into his eyes.
“I don’t get what so great about him.” Naruto said as Sasuke began to grow angry. Zero just slightly smirked and began to enjoy this tension that filled the air so suddenly. “He’s not that great.” Naruto continued.
“Oh really?” A boy underneath Naruto asked, talking to his class mate that sat in front of him. His elbow nudged Naruto when he turned slightly knocking him forward causing Naruto to fall into Sasuke. Zero’s eyes widened, as he stared at Naruto and Sasuke, who were now kissing each other. They quickly pulled back and began coughing and spiting towards the ground.
“That was disgusting?!” Naruto yelled still spiting at the ground. He then suddenly stopped and looked up at the wall. “I sense… danger.” He said under his breath. He slowly turned around to see a mob of angry girls staring at him. At this Zero began to laugh. Everyone quickly turned there attention to him.
“Sasuke-kun, I didn’t know you were that kind of guy.” He said looking at Sasuke. Sasuke turned back at him with a dirty look.
“Shut up Zero-san.” Sasuke said beginning to turn away.
“What’s the matter Sasuke-san, want to fight me now? Or shall we wait. until a point where I can finally end that pathetic existence, you call a life?” Zero asked standing up. Everyone looked over at Zero surprised by his words, and anger they sensed from him. Sasuke also stood up and stared at Zero with cold eyes.
“What the hell is your problem?” Sasuke asked clenching a fist.
“Zero-kun…” Den said suddenly becoming a bit afraid of what was happening. Zero looked at the corner of his eye at Den then to the mob of girls who stood next to him.
“Zero-kun, and Sasuke-kun fighting...” One of them said slowly. Zero noticed that more then half the girls began to have stressed out looks on there faces. Zero then smiled at Sasuke and laughed.
“You’re too serious Sasuke-kun.” He said laughing and sitting back down. “I was only kidding.” He then returned his attention to the front of the room. After several moments a few of the girls began to disperse and the voices of the class room returned. Sasuke had sat back down and Naruto as well, with Sakura sitting in-between them. Zero placed his hands together in front of him as he rested his mouth against them focusing his attention to the back of Sakura’s head.
“That was a bit uncalled for.” Ryuu said suddenly in a whispering tone. Zero just shot him and look and returned his attention to Sakura’s head again.
“I don’t care…” Zero replied. Den looked over at Zero as well.
“I don’t get why you hate him so much. Don’t you both share a similar past?” Den asked. Zero looked over at Den with a cold stare and for several moments he didn’t speak.
“Two people, look threw the same bars. One sees mud, the other sees stars.” Zero said as he turned his attention to Iruka who had just walked into the class room. Iruka began his explanation of how the teams would be divided into groups of three, but Zero wasn’t paying much attention to this.
“What team do you think you will be on?” Ryuu asked Zero. Zero shook his head and waited a moment before replaying.
“Most likely, yours and Den’s, but if you asked me whose team I’d rather be on…” Zero said staring at Hinata who was sitting on the opposite side of the room. Ryuu just smiled as he watched Zero stare off.
“I see. No need to finish that sentence.” Ryuu said. Iruka had begun calling out the team numbers.
“Team Six!” He announced. “Hebi Ryuu, Setsu Den, and Zenhi Zero.” At the sound of Zero’s name a few sad sighs were let out. Den just rolled his eyes and began twiddling his figures. “Team seven.” Iruka continued. Zero laid down his head and began to go off into a meditated state.
“How annoying…” Den’s voice could be heard as he fell into a light sleep.
