Chapter Ten

AN: WOWZA Ten chapters!

 

A week later and Carri's life support was unplugged. Raya didn't cry at her funeral. When Naruto asks, she replies, “I've been to so many funerals, I can't cry.” At that, she walks away. Naruto turns to go after her but Cassie grabs his shoulder and shakes her head. Raya walks to her new apartment and sits on the couch. She rubs the side of her head. A snow board was in the corner. Raya walks over to it and reads the note. It said,

 

Dear Raya,

I just wanted you to know that you were my first best friend and that maybe you would take this snow board. Hey, maybe, when I get out of the hospital, we can go snow boarding in the land of snow! See `round!

Carri Uchiha, your other best friend.

Raya covered her mouth with her hand and fell to her knee's, crying. She hadn't cried in years, but she finally did. A knock on the door startled her and Naruto walked in. She turned her face away and tried to hold in her tears. That failed and she buried her face in her hands. Naruto hugs her from behind and she just falls apart.

 

Naruto walks down the main road of the village towards the gates where Pervy Sage was waiting. He hadn't told Raya he was leaving and he was sure she would fallow if he did tell her. Cassie knew, heck even Hinata knew. Everyone knew except Raya. He was sorta depressed about the fact that he was leaving the village for a long time. Raya busted into his house. She noticed his backpack was gone. She whirls around and runs out of the house. Cassie, rounding the corner, was soon head butted by Raya's rock hard forehead. She fell to the ground and Raya was laying on the ground, knocked out.

 

An hour later, Raya woke up in a daze. She sat up with a start and she ran into the hall way of Cassie's house. “Cassie, have you seen Naruto?” she asks hastily. “Well about that…….” Cassie replies nervously. “yes….” Raya says. “He kind of left the village an hour ago….” she replies. Raya's face goes red. “HE DIDN'T TELL ME!!” Raya yelled, tears welling up in her eyes. “He's coming back in three years so don't worry.” Cassie says. “Good, but if Pervy Sage turns him into a mini-him, I'm gonna beat the old man into a bloody pulp!” Raya yells, pumping her fist into the air.
