“Sen … sen what?” Sasuke asked completely ignoring Kabuto who skittered away.

 

“Um … nothing … you just … you just remind me of some one else I know …” Haoku muttered. ~There's no doubt about it … that's him … Sasuke-sensei … he's so cute when he was little …~ As she thought about the thirty one year old Sasuke from her time her mind flooded with memories.

 

“Sensei … I … I don't under stand!”

 

“Think! I'll leave you there until you find out this riddle …

`What is yours but others use it more than you do?'”

 

“Sensei this makes no sense why do I have

To solve your stupid riddles?”

 

“A ninja must be able to think under the

“The blood is rushing to my head I can't think right now!”

Haoku yelled as she hung from a tree her cheeks flushed

“Think Haoku!”

 

“Um … what is mine … but others use it

More than I do … my name!”

 

“Good … one more …”

 

“You said that was the last one!”

 

“Well then I guess I lied.

Cut me and I weep tears as red as my flesh, yet my heart is made of stone.”

She laughed to herself recalling the memory as a Junín walked into the room announcing and leading every one to the examination rooms. Haoku sat down near the front of the room staring down at the questions in front of her and answering them with ease then pulling a book out of no where and began to read.

 

~Who is this girl … she's so strange … how could she answer these questions so easily … it's … it's impossible!~

 

Haoku caught Sasuke looking at her and she smiled winking and sticking her tongue out at him.

 

~Grrrrr … that girl!!!~ Sasuke thought he's eyes forming a sharp glare similar to Itachi's.

 

~Yep … he's going to remember that in the future … there's no doubt about it …~ She smiled then returned her attention to her book. Before she knew it the test was over and the room was mostly empty. She yawned stood up and walked out with every one else.

 

“Hey … you … wait up!” Sasuke yelled running up to her. “What was that all about?”

 

“What … you mean this?” She asked copying what she had done in the room almost three hours ago.

 

“Yeah, that!”

 

She ruffled his hair acting some what childishly. “That's for me to know and you to never find out sensei.”

 

“… Wait what did you just call me?” Sasuke asked both confused and surprised.

 

“No-nothing … I … I have to go!” she yelled running out of Sasuke's sight. ~Oh no … that can't have just happened!~

 

She stood in front of the gate numbered thirteen. ~Sasuke-sensei is going to come after me for that … I can't let him follow me …~

 

Kabuto walked up to her interrupting her thoughts. “So … lucky number thirteen eh?”

 

“Huh … oh … yeah … I guess so …” She mumbled

 

“I'll see you inside …” He said walking off to rejoin his team.

 

“Oh no you won't …” Haoku whispered to herself forming a combination of hand signs and disappearing into thin air. Suddenly the gate burst open in front of her and she ran out with a speed she didn't know existed.

 

~Sensei … that girl is strange I have to find her …~ Sasuke thought not realizing the fully cloaked Haoku was trailing right about him.
