Haoku sighed and rolled over kissing Itachi's cheek lightly. “Itachi I'm going for a walk, okay?”

 

“Why, it's three in the morning Haoku.”

 

“I know … I … I just need to think …” She said getting out of the bed and dressing then walking out leaving Itachi dumb founded.

 

“I'll never understand her …”

 

 

 

 

She walked through the out skirts of Konoha deep in thought.

 

I wonder what's wrong with Eva … she hasn't talked to me since that night …it's been five days …

 

A low groan disturbed her thoughts. She looked up to see a young man with silver hair holding a gash in his side.

 

“On … are you ok?” She asked running over to him.

 

The man looked up at her with brilliant black eyes as his lips formed a sly grin. “Never better, Orochimaru, now!”

 

Suddenly a snake like man appeared from the shadows and chuckled, “What have we here, Itachi's lover, what a shame he isn't looking out from you Haoku … he'll regret letting you walk off alone …”

 

His neck suddenly extended catching her off guard and biting her on her upper right thigh.

 

She screamed in pain and fell to the ground holding her leg watching the curse mark appear then looking up to find them both gone. She stood up shakily trying to brush off the burning feeling in her leg by digging her nails into the palms of her hand to distract her as she walked to the place she now called home.

 

Once she got there she fell into the bed exhausted from what happened over an hour before.

 

Itachi's hand instinctively ran up her thigh but immediately stopped as he felt the heat from the curse mark. He sat up and moved her cloth shorts out of the way to find the curse mark a deep fiery scarlet color.

 

“Haoku … Haoku get up!” He whispered shaking her more than franticly.

 

She lazily opened her eyes. “What do you want Tach-san?”

 

“What's this, what happened?” He glared at the curse mark his words dripping venom.

 

“I … I don't know … it just happened …”

 

“Why didn't you tell me?”

 

“Because … you were asleep.”

 

“You listen to me and you listen to me good … you are to go nowhere alone, do you understand?”

 

“Yeah, sure, what ever … why?”

 

“This mark could put your life in danger … you see if you were to leave alone and you were attacked then you would use your chakara thus activating the curse mark then after that it's all over you lose control and … that's all I know … just swear, you won't go anywhere with out me or Kisame?”

 

She smiled “Don't worry I won't …”

 

He leaned over and kissed her before lying down once more.

 

“Ashiteru Tach-san …” She whispered before lying down beside him.

 

 

 

Some time the next morning

 

“Haoku … Haoku no don't go … please don't leave me all alone …”

 

“Haoku they're going to kill you … stay away!!!” Itachi cried in his dream.

 

She paid him no mind as if not even hearing him. She walked closer and closer to the grinning duo of Orochimaru and Kabuto.

 

“Haoku!!!” He yelled watching as Orochimaru drew a kunai and Haoku kneeled before him.

 

Orochimaru raised his arm and paused for a moment before slinging it down.

 

Suddenly everything went black and there was blood through out the darkness.

 

“Haoku!!!” He yelled sitting straight up in his bed immediately feeling dizzy from the blood rushing to his head.

 

“Hmmmm? Morning Tach-san.” She said smiling as she walked over to him and wiped the sweat off his forehead “Did you have a night mare?”

 

He didn't answer; he just pulled her close and held her while mumbling “Haoku please don't leave me …”

 

“I never will … I promise …”
