Pointless trip

This story starts with a legendary team 7 meeting

 

“Kakashi-Sensei is always late and I'm sick of it!” Grumbled Naruto (Oh yeah, this takes place during part 1)

 

“Stop whining Naruto. I will admit that Kakashi-sensei has a tendency to be late but it's not like it's anything new. Get over it.”

 

Inside, though Sakura was praying for a break. They've been training like this for the longest of times. She was exhausted and to top it off, they had to come at 6:00 o'clock in the morning!

 

“You two are pathetic, just be grateful that you're getting some training, because at your level you need all the training you can get.” Said Sasuke

 

Sasuke really didn't care what time Kakashi came at because he knew that one day it will all pay off as he'll kill Itachi one day. Sasuke has been stepping up his training so he could be able to achieve his dream, retire and revive his clan with the love of his life…. Tenten! Yes Tenten, not Sakura, not Hinata, not Ino, but Tenten The weapons mistress.

 

“When Kakashi comes, I am going to pound him in the face so hard that blood is going to be coming out of his ass!” Threatened Naruto

 

“Ok, Naruto give it your best shot.” Said Kakashi with a grin on his face, but nobody could see it thanks to the mask

 

Kakashi has become one of the best shinobi of all time. He has grown in skill dramatically and still retains the name of `Copy Ninja Kakashi' and was also nominated to succeed Tsunade as Hokage but turned it down as he knew Naruto wanted that role more than he did. He has also gained the name of God Kakashi due to his perfection of the Lightning Blade which he transformed to make it into two lightning blades

 

“Ok get ready because this one is going to hurt you bad!” Warned Naruto as he charged into Kakashi only to fall face first on his head and then get a thousand years of death straight to behind

 

Naruto has also become a strong ninja. He still may be as clumsy as he was when he was first on team 7 but he's definitely not as weak as he was. It's been rumored that Naruto has become even stronger than his Sensei Jiraiya, but that has not been further speculated on due to Jiraiya being too cocky to admit it. (Remember this is part1 so Jiraiya is not dead. Yippee!)

Naruto has also created his own Jutsu stronger than the Rasengan called the dragon shot.

 

“Naruto it's not very smart to try to go up against Kakashi-sensei. He's stronger than all of us.” Warned Sakura

 

Okay Sakura is not really that interesting so she hasn't grown that much over the months

 

“Whatever Sakura so Kakashi-Sensei any missions! I need missions we've been training but we have no missions!” Whined Naruto

 

“Sorry Naruto but we have no missions. On the way here I got stopped by Lady Tsunade and she says to rack all of you guys up because of something important.”

 

“What's more important than missions let me answer that nothing!” Yelled Naruto

 

“Shut up and let's go Naruto!” Hollered Sakura as she dragged the blond boy by his ears

 

“Ow Sakura not so hard, my performance in bed won't be as good as last time.” Remarked a sly Naruto

 

“What are you talking about, there was no moment, you jackass!” Yelled Sakura

 

“You guys you're holding us up you can talk about you're love life on the way.” Said Kakashi, He always knew that they would get together one day

 

“Naruto, you big ass you're not supposed to discuss our relationship in public you ding-dong!”

 

“Sorry Sakura but I have one question why are you ashamed to be going out with me?” Questioned Sakura

 

“I'm not ashamed to be dating you Naruto. It's just that well, what will Ino say?”

 

“Who cares about Ino? It's all about me and you because we've been dating for 2 years not Ino. So I think we should be let free let's not keep this a secret anymore okay.”

 

“Okay Naruto but I'm sort of worried.”

 

You're worried about what. Who cares if we're dating?”

 

“Hey! Hurry up before we leave you lovebirds!” Teased Sasuke

 

“You see Sakura, Sasuke already knows.” Said Naruto as him and Sakura ran to catch up with the rest of team 7

 

With team 8

 

Kiba was chatting about a completely useless topic that nobody was listening to, Shino was busy counting his precious bugs, Hinata was training, and Kurenai was nowhere to be found.

 

“Where's Kurenai-Sensei, It's unlike her to be late. What if something happened to her!?” Worried Kiba

 

“Calm down, Kiba even though there is a good chance that something could've happened to her, It's probably because she's dating Kakashi-Sensei and she probably adapted his traits of being late.” Theorized Shino

 

“I agree with Shino, calm down K-Kiba I'm worried about you.” Said Hinata with a blush on her face

 

“I'm sorry Hinata; don't be worried, I was just freaking out.” Said Kiba with a chuckle as he kissed Hinata on the cheek

 

Since Naruto was too dense to figure out Hinata's true feelings for him, Hinata actually looked in front of her to see that the love of her life was on her team and he supported her in anything that she did so that's how Hinata and Kiba began

 

“Sorry I'm late you guys, but I was held up by something important that I will not discuss with you guys because it's not that important.” Said a nervous Kurenai

 

“You were making out with Kakashi-Sensei again, huh?” Asked Shino

 

Shino had hit it right on the nail. And Shino hit it hard.

 

“How do you know Shino, maybe I could've been shopping or getting something to eat at Ichiraku. Or I could've had a problem getting my clothes ready.” Said Kurenai getting irritated at how Shino always knew what she was doing

 

“Well, first of all there isn't a shopping mall in Konoha; you might have been watching too much American TV. And second of all, Ichiraku is right behind us I could've seen you or Kiba could've smelled and Hinata could've seen you with her Byakugan and lastly we wear the same thing everyday.” Answered Shino

 

Shino had become a real resourceful thinker over the past months. That's why you couldn't get anything past him these days. He has created variations of his clan's jutsu that are really effective in battle like the bug tornado which is an ultimate defense move, the bug hill jutsu, which is a move that swarms the enemy with bugs and not only sucks they're chakra but it hurts them dramatically and is probably Shino's best jutsu. He currently doesn't have a girlfriend but Kiba and Hinata know that someday Shino would find the girl of his dreams.

 

“I think that Shino is right Kurenai-Sensei maybe you have been hanging around Kakashi-Sensei too much that you have developed his tardy habits.” Said Hinata

 

Hinata continues to train to become a better kunoichi after her fateful encounter with Neji Hyuga, her cousin that she faced in the chunin exam. That was the first match that she got recognition from Naruto in. Some people thought that she has overcome Neji in skill but Neji proved them wrong in a training match that they had when Neji almost killed her. What a relief he didn't huh? But Hinata has developed new skills like her new Jutsu Butterfly Sting. In that Jutsu she closes all of the chakra points then keeps on going for an additional sting. She hasn't mastered it yet because when her father, Hiashi Hyuga used it, it killed a man. But it looks like Hinata is going to have a very bright future if she keeps up the progress that she's going at.

 

“Hinata that's preposterous, just because I go out with him doesn't mean that I'm like him.”

 

“Yeah whatever Sensei, I was actually about to think that you were late for a reason.” Said a disappointed Kiba

 

Now onto Kiba. Kiba has become an exceptional shinobi. Some think that he is the shining light of the Inuzuka clan as they are experiencing hard times after the death of the clan leader, Tubule Inuzuka, Kiba's grandfather. Some think that Kiba has surpassed him, but Kiba doesn't think so yet as his grandfather had way more wisdom than he does. Kiba has created an even stronger version of Gatsuuga. This version involves using two clones to double the damage. He has also learned how to control the Double wolf jutsu. Shino probably has the ability to `revive' the Inuzuka clan as they are not a very popular clan and now they're status has gone down even lower due to the death of the leader. Kiba has a very good chance to become a talented shinobi.

 

“Ok, I admit Shino, I was making out with Kakashi, are you happy now that you've humiliated me?” Said Kurenai in a calm voice

 

“Actually, I'm not happy, and second, it's only us three, that's not really that much of something to be embarrassed about, now I think you're too much American soap operas.” Said Shino in an even calmer voice

 

“Ok that's not very important, but what is important is the message I got from Tsunade. She wants me to rack you guys up and head to her office for a secret message. I don't even know what it is so it must be something good. Ok so let's head out team!” Said Kurenai who was overly excited

 

“Hey Hinata I want to ask you something.” Said Kiba

 

“Yes Kiba?”

 

“Well I just want to know if you still have feelings for Naruto.” Answered Kiba

 

“I don't have feelings for Naruto anymore K-Kiba?” Said a nervous Hinata as she kissed Kiba on the cheek and tried to run ahead but Kiba caught up with her

 

“Why did you stutter Hinata? You never stutter around me. And why did you answer like you were asking the question when I was? Hinata Hyuga, please tell me the truth. I don't want our relationship to have rocky roads.” Said Kiba in the most sincere voice that he could while hugging Hinata

 

“Kiba to tell you the truth I will always love Naruto. He was my first love and you can't just forget your first love because that was the first person that you ever liked so please don't think that I still want to go out with him. I love you Kiba Inuzuka.” Said Hinata in her most sincere voice

 

“Hey, can you guys hurry up; we're going to be late for Tsunade's big announcement.” Said Shino

 

“Um, Sure Shino, we're on our way.” Said Hinata

 

“Hinata, I love you.” Said Kiba

 

“I love you too Kiba.” Responded Hinata

 

With Team 10

 

It was just a normal day for team 10; Ino was doing her hair, Choji was eating potato chips, Shikamaru was talking about how much of a drag this was, and Asuma was no where to be found.

 

“What a drag, Ino I told you we should have come later but you were all like `no, maybe Asuma-Sensei will come on time' but he's still not here and I've been waiting for three hours!” Complained Shikamaru

 

“I'm sorry, Shika-kun, I just thought that Asuma-sensei would stop coming so late, but once again I was wrong.” Said a sad Ino as she cuddled into Shikamaru's arms and gave him a kiss on the cheek

 

“Its ok baby, but you should know that this is what Asuma does best, you can't change that, I mean, he's later than Kakashi for Kami's sake!”

 

Well after Sasuke gave Ino a speech on how much he hated her, Ino broke down and wouldn't let anybody try to talk to her. Sasuke was the love of her life and he rejected her! She stopped coming to practice, she wouldn't talk to Sakura, but that's when Shikamaru came into the picture and told Ino that Sasuke was never going to change and that he has expressed how much he dislikes her over a billion times and that he just wanted her to leave him alone. So they spent almost the whole day just talking to each other and when Shikamaru wanted to stay with Ino that was the time that they had their first kiss together. That was also their first `get freaky time' together. And after that Ino just forgot about Sasuke and focused all her time to Shikamaru.

 

“Hello, I'm still here! You guys have to get a room!” Complained Choji

 

“Oh yeah, I forgot about you. You have to get a life!” Teased Ino as she went back to making out with Shikamaru

 

“Urgh! Okay that's it you guys have to stop with this or you're going to mess the team up!” Whined a jealous Choji who couldn't stand to see his teammate, who's also his best friend, making out with the love of his life

 

That's when Shikamaru got annoyed. How dare Choji interrupt his time with Ino! So he got up, put on his jacket and asked Choji one question.

 

“Choji, why are you so affected by me and Ino going out? Are you jealous?” Asked Shikamaru

 

“No, why would I be jealous? You both are just my teammates and I wouldn't want to see any of you guys get hurt.” Lied Choji

`Dang it, Shikamaru knows everything! It gets really annoying sometimes.” Thought Choji

 

“Okay, you lovebirds, get off each other, I have an announcement to make!” Yelled Asuma

 

“Yes! Thank you Sensei!” Yelled Choji, excited that his Sensei made that disgusting scene stop

 

Choji shouldn't have said that because he gained everyone's attention. And Shikamaru and Ino smirked at him. Choji had to think fast for why he said that.

 

“Thank you, Sensei for bringing my chips?” Answered a nervous Choji

 

“I didn't bring you any chips Choji.” Answered Asuma

 

Choji stuffed a bag of chips into Asuma's pocket and then pulled it out

 

“Yes you did, they're right here you silly bird! How did you forget what you bought me, heh heh?” Choji said with a weak laugh and ran to a tree to eat the chips

 

“Okay? Everybody I have an announcement to make. It regards why I was late.”

 

“Let me guess, you were drinking with Kakashi at the bar again?” Questioned Shikamaru, well told Shikamaru since he knew he was right

 

“No, why would I do that, I'm a smoker, not a drinker. That would be too much for me, and you know it.”

 

“Oh really, how come a couple of seconds before you came I saw Kakashi and Kurenai stumbling out of that bar right there?” Asked Shikamaru (Kurenai didn't drink)

 

“I don't know. What does that have to do with me?” Retorted Asuma

 

“I don't know, maybe the fact that you walked out of that same bar and to top it off…. You smell like liquor.” Bluntly said Shikamaru

 

“Okay, I admit it! I was drinking with Kakashi, are you happy now?” Admitted Asuma (Notice how this all doesn't add up, you'll see how it does later

 

“Oh, Shikamaru, you're so smart, you can figure anything out!” Said Ino with hearts in her eyes

 

“Well, Shikamaru, I'm sure you saw Tsunade talk to me because that conversation is what this whole meeting is about.” Said Asuma

 

“In fact, I did see the old hag talk to you.”

 

“Lady Tsunade is not old; she's just not as young as you guys, that doesn't mean anything.” Said Asuma `God, why did I have to have Shikamaru as my student? I could have had Naruto, or Rock Lee, or even Kiba, but you give me the smartass.' Thought Asuma

 

“Well, anyway Tsunade said for us to go to her office for a big announcement.” Said Asuma, expecting them to be excited

 

“Yes! I hope that Lady Hokage has something important to say, like maybe a trip for all our hard work!” Exclaimed Ino

 

“What a drag. The old hag strikes again with a romantic plot or an action plot. Doesn't she do enough of that troublesome stuff?” Said a bored Shikamaru

 

“Wait what did you say?” Said Asuma

 

“Tsunade is cooking up a plot, I can just see it.” Said Shikamaru

 

“No she's not Shikamaru; I don't know what you're talking about.” Said Asuma

 

“Don't you read fanfics? She's trying to get certain characters together or she is trying to break us all up. Don't you see it? It's an evil plan. Like `oh we've been training forever and we deserve a break' well if you read fanfics you'll know that we are the only ones that ever get `announcements' from Tsunade and there's a background reason for it. Wow that was a mouthful.” Said Shikamaru who was preaching like a pastor

 

“Okay whatever you say Shikamaru.” Said Choji like Shikamaru was crazy

 

Choji has become a moderate ninja. Nothing too special, if he would get his eyes off of Ino enough to actually train he could do something. Choji hasn't gotten new jutsu over the months and doesn't really care anymore as he is head over heels for Ino. He still has become a ninja that his father doesn't want to recognize. He was almost banned (what does that word mean when you were kicked out of your clan?) from his clan so he was given the Akimichi clan special pills. So Choji isn't really an interesting shinobi.

 

“Shut up Choji. You don't have any reason to talk to Shikamaru like that and I also believe Shikamaru. He showed me himself!” Said Ino with a venomous sting to it

 

Ino has become an excellent ninja even surpassing Sakura Haruno. She has developed a new jutsu called Mind Develop Jutsu. It is a dangerous jutsu because when used it makes the target become so crazy that he does something unnatural. Like when her father used it on a stray dog, the dog ran in front of a truck and that was the end for him. And when Ino used it on a loose prisoner, the prisoner murdered his mother. The jutsu basically makes you loose all of your sense. And if you can't successfully get it on the target then you literally `lose your mind' as your mind looks for someone to go to, which can cause serious danger to anyone. Ino has surely become an exceptional ninja capable of many things

 

“Yeah Ino knows, but Asuma, you don't know, that's why whatever it is, it's going to result in a major disaster that will make you sorry that we ever went to her office.”

 

Shikamaru has become a very excellent ninja. He is so great that Konoha found a group that has the most talented and smartest genin ninja and they came up with a team that consisted of him, Neji Hyuga, Shino Aburame, and Sasuke Uchiha. Shikamaru has developed a jutsu called Shadow Gathering Jutsu. This jutsu basically creates long shadows to get anything in the area and attach it to the target. To top it off he puts exploding tags on the target to make all objects on him/her explode, probably exploding the target. Shikamaru is a highly regarded ninja who has a very bright future ahead of him if he will stop slacking around all the time.

 

“Shikamaru, don't be crazy, Tsunade is our Hokage, she wouldn't do anything that bad to us, because if she did, then she wouldn't have a lot of ninja in her disposal.” Said Asuma

 

“Whatever you say Asuma.” Said Shikamaru, but he knew what was going to happen, and they were going to regret it

 

“Okay you guys, let's head out!”

 

“Yes Asuma-Sensei!” Said everyone except Shikamaru, who just said `yes Asuma'

 

“Hey Ino, you know that Choji is jealous right?” Said Shikamaru

 

“Yeah I know, he's so hilarious the way he tries to hide it `thanks for my chips'!” Mocked Ino

 

“No, it's not funny; my best friend can't try to steal you from me. That's against the man code.” Said Shikamaru

 

“The `man code'?” Questioned Ino

 

“Yes Ino, the man code. Do you see Sasuke trying to steal Sakura from Naruto after they're going out? Do you see Shino trying to steal Hinata from Kiba? Do you see Rock Lee trying to steal Tenten from Neji? The answer to that question is no. But it's alright for Choji to try to steal you from me?” Explained Shikamaru

 

“Wait, Naruto and Sakura are going out? How did you know that and I didn't?” Questioned Ino

 

“Ino, I've seen them making out a billion times. Of course they're going out.”

 

“Ok, but why are you so worried about Choji taking me? I would never go out with him; I love you, Shika-kun.” Said Ino

 

“Yeah, I was just freaking out, I love you too, Ino.” Said Shikamaru as he tugged Ino's purple dress and pulled her in for a kiss for about a good ten minutes before pulling apart

 

“We should catch up with them. We don't want to be late for the `big announcement' Said Ino

 

“Right behind you”

 

With Team Gai

 

There is no average day with Team Gai. But one thing that always happens no matter what is this

 

“Neji Hyuga, I challenge you to a match and I will not take no for an answer!” Rock Lee said with his legendary `ping'

 

“Will you take this for an answer? Not on your life, Lee. Anyway, I'm going to train with Tenten. You need it more than her.” Said Neji as he walked away

 

“That is it, Neji! I did not want to do this, but you forced me to!” Said Rock Lee as he landed a stone cold fist on Neji's face

 

“Why you! You want a fight huh? I'll give you one! Rotation!” Said Neji as Lee blasted away from the force

 

“Ah, I have been waiting for this moment since the day I was put on the same team as you.”

 

“STOP! YOU TWO YOUTHFUL STUDENTS OF MINE CANNOT FIGHT LIKE THIS!” Yelled Gai

 

“I am sorry Sensei but I and Neji are rivals! It is only natural for us to have a final showdown like this!”

 

“I am sorry, Lee but I can't stand to see you get injured again.” Said Gai as he was about to tear up remembering the Garra incident

 

“Gai-Sensei!” Said Lee as he hugged his Sensei and the legendary sunset with an ocean background appeared

 

“Lee!” Cried Gai

 

“Aren't you guys supposed to be on Pokemon or something?” Questioned Neji in reference to the background

 

“No, We got fired from that show and the author gave us a donut to appear on this fic anyway!” Said the people who were holding the background while munching on the donut

 

“You got fired from holding a colored sign?” Questioned Neji, unable to believe that they could get fired from such a simple job

 

“Don't focus on us; we're just holding a sign!”

 

“Stop right there! I am not going to listen to your little whining of `Lee' or `Gai-Sensei' anymore, I'm leaving!” Yelled Tenten

 

“Fine Tenten, you had the smallest role on the show anyway! We do not need you here!” Yelled Lee

 

“Wait Tenten don't go!” Yelled Neji

 

“Why shouldn't I go, their so annoying!”

 

“Tenten, wait, the author is trying to get rid of you. It's because that he doesn't like you, now come back don't go.” Lied Neji

 

“Well, that does make sense.” (Damn, Neji!)

 

“But, I like you.”

 

“You do?” Questioned Tenten like it surprised her (They've been going out for a year)

 

Tenten sucks. I don't know how to describe her. I mean she has absolutely no character development so I can't say how she's grown

 

“You guys. I have an announcement to make! It has the reason why I was late for the first time in my entire life.” (Has he been to Middle School?)

 

“You challenged Kakashi to a contest and he didn't accept, which made you question him a 9,998,777,201,845, times right?” Said Neji who obviously was right

 

“How did you know that?” Questioned Gai

 

“The Byakugan sees all.” Answered Neji (This is what really happened, you guys)

 

 

Flashback Yay!

 

The jonin were talked into going into a bar by a villager who teased them and called them `sissy bag ninjas'.

 

“This place isn't so bad, we're not sissy bags.” Said Kakashi

 

People were getting drunk and getting freaky with their girlfriends. The place looked like a dump! There were broken tiles on the ceilings breaking and falling down. Rats were crawling down the walls. And there was mold growing on the ground.

 

“Four beers fresh from the keg right here!” Said the bartender winking at Kakashi

 

“Back off, lady!” Said a jealous Kurenai who didn't want that slut messing with her boo

 

“Kurenai, you sure are looking sexy today. How about you and I have ourselves a sexy moment?” Said Kakashi after drinking one cup of vodka along with the rest of the jonin

 

“Sure, after this let's go to the bed and get freaky with each other.” Said Kurenai who was obviously drunk

 

“I can't, I have to go to Naruke, Sasuto, and Sahara.” Said Kakashi who was getting his students names mixed up

 

“Oh yeah, I have to go to Kino, Shiba, and Hitura.” Said Kurenai who also couldn't say her student's names

 

“Oh yeah, I have to go to Shino, Imaru, and Choki” Said Asuma

 

“I have to go teach Rock Lee (Wow) Nejen, and Tenti.” Said Gai who could, weirdly, remember Rock Lee

 

“Hey Kakashi, man, this is, man, this is better than smoking man. I mean you just drink and drink and drink but nothing happens to you. But when I smoke I start coughing. But when you combine the both of them together, you feel dizzy and you cough, man!” Said Asuma, who was getting drunk and high at the same time (Rock on!)

 

Kakashi was too busy sucking face with Kurenai to notice Asuma

 

“Kakashi! I challenge you to a fight and I will not take no for an answer!” Exclaimed Gai

 

“Can't you see that I'm with a hot girl and all you're worried about is fighting me? That's pathetic Gai”

 

“So is that a yes or a no?”

 

“No”

Flashback end

 

“Anyway, Tsunade said that she has an announcement to make so you guys have to hurry up so we can leave!” Exclaimed Gai

 

“An announcement? Yes I hope it is an all-out tournament where you can fight whoever you would like! I would fight you then Neji Yosh!”

 

“That's the spirit Lee!”

 

“Gai-Sensei!”

 

“Lee!”

 

“Hey where is the background?”

 

“Oh sorry man, but we quit. We can't go around holding a big sign up for you guys.” Said the background people

 

“Ok, let's go!” Said Gai with his famous ping

 

At the Hokage's tower

 

“I'm glad that you can all make it. I have a very important announcement to make regarding your training. You guys have been working too hard so I have decided to send you guys on a trip.” Said Tsunade

 

“I knew it! She's going to send us on an evil trip!” Said Shikamaru

 

“Shikamaru, this is not an evil trip. I just think that you guys have been working too hard and I have decided to give you guys a break.”

 

“Okay so where do we go?” Questioned Kiba

 

“You are going to the Konoha Chevriourre. A place where there are tons of things to do. But the main thing that you will be doing is competing in a series of challenges. You will be split up into 3 groups and that section is where you will sit on the bus and that is the team that you will be on during events. There are 22 events. Each day you will have a new event. Is everything clear?”

 

“Everything, but one thing, who is going to be the driver?” Questioned Naruto

 

“Oh, he should be here by now.” Said Tsunade

 

“Jiraiya is here to satisfy all of your needs!” Said Jiraiya as the door soon fell apart

 

“Not the pervy Sage.” Said Naruto

 

“Stop calling me that! I am not a pervert!”

 

“Okay everyone here is the groups that I myself thought of.” Said Tsunade as she stuck a poster up on the wall that consisted of the teams

 

Group 1

 

Sasuke Uchiha, Tenten, Kiba Inuzuka, Temari, Choji Akimichi

 

“Wait the sand siblings are coming?” Questioned Tenten

 

“Yes. I have invited them as special guests. They said they would just meet us at the place.” Answered Tsunade

 

Group 2

 

Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuga, Sakura Haruno

 

Group 3

 

Garra, Kankuro, Ino Yamanaka, Shino Aburame, and Rock Lee

 

“Oh no, I'm with all the weirdoes!” Said Ino

 

“Ino, you're the weird one. You spend about a good 6 hours just brushing your hair.” Retorted Shino

 

Ino had no comment on that one

 

“Exactly.”

 

Inside Sasuke was extremely happy that he was placed on the same team as Tenten

“Oh no, Shikamaru, we're faced on the same team as Hinata and Sakura!” Complained Naruto

 

“So what is the problem Hinata's not that mean and I guess I could manage with Sakura.” Said Shikamaru

 

“But, Sakura is my girlfriend and I think that I might still have feelings for Hinata.”

 

“Well, then if it's like that, I think that Hinata may have feelings for you too.” Said Shikamaru

 

“No, I can't deal with that, then Hinata is going to flirt with me and then Sakura will notice and then she'll break up with me! You're a genius, you have to help me!” Whined Naruto, desperate to get some help

 

“Well, it's not like I'm on the same team with Ino, so I guess I could take Hinata off your hands. But just for a little bit, alright? And then you can have time for Sakura.” Said Shikamaru

 

“You'd do that for me, Gee thanks Shikamaru!” Exclaimed Naruto at the top of his lungs

 

“Hey Naruto, me and you are on the same team, aren't you excited?!” Said Sakura as she pecked Naruto on the cheek

 

“Yeah, I'm thrilled, Sakura!” Said Naruto

 

“Hey, Shikamaru, I'm sorry that you're not on the same team as Ino.” Apologized Sakura

 

“Well, I guess it's ok to have a little time to myself, no big deal.” Said Shikamaru

 

“Hi Sakura-Chan, Naruto-Kun, Shikamaru-Kun, I hope you have a good time on the trip.” Said a shy Hinata

 

“No need to call us those endings and whatnot, we both went to the same school anyway, we're equal.” Said Sakura

 

“Oh, sorry.”

 

“Don't apologize Hinata, you didn't do anything wrong.” Said Shikamaru

 

“Ok, thank you!” And Hinata ran off

 

“She's a drag, she's too shy.”

 

“I know, she needs more confidence!” Said Sakura

 

“I don't see anything wrong with her.” Said Naruto

 

“Okay everybody, get on the bus, it's going to be a long ride!” Said Tsunade as everyone rushed to the bus
