A/N: I'm working on this fic heavily since it was my original fic even if it wasn't the first to come out. This fic was the reason why I'm even on this site so no complaining about not working on my others, since I am. Just really pissed that the entire chapter for Naruto of Spira seemingly disappeared as if I never did it.

Chapter 3 The Journey to the Wave

It had been four weeks since the Kyuubi incident and things returned back to normal for teams seven. Rikimaru escaped the hospital three days into it saying that the place was hell incarnated and began to train his team. On the first week of training they learned the tree walking exercise and learned one ninjutsu from him. On the second week they were taught water walking and managed to master it to were it was second nature.

On the first day of the third week had taken his team to the weapon shop own by Tenten's parents. Naruto quickly latched onto a wakizashi as it was a life line. Mainly because Hachibi was telling him she would help him train with it till she found her sword, Kusanagi. All she wanted in return was to feel, see and smell what he does everyday. Figuring it was a good trade and since she was the best kenjutsu master that ever lived, or so in that book of legends he read once, he accepted, only to be pulled in and to collect her weekly payment.

Sasuke had decided that on a double edged scythe. The poll was crimson color while the blades were pitch black and reflected no light. Sakura on the other hand couldn't find a weapon she liked. So she and Rikimaru went over he strengths and decided on two battle boomerangs and a pair of protective gloves that came with them.

Naruto look pretty much the same except that he had his wakizashi strapped to his left hip and a black snake tattoo on his right arm. He had also asked if Rikimaru if anyone had the snake contract here so that he could sign it. After learning Anko was the only one in Konoha that could summon snakes he reluctantly agree to find her and convince her to let him sigh the contract. Of course Anko wasn't going to let him have it for free. All she wanted in return was to have sex which Naruto attempted to refuse saying one horny snake was enough. That didn't matter to Anko as she used Sen'eijashu to pin him to a wall so she could ravish him. Using some of Hachi's youki the snakes immediately turned on Anko and pinned her to the wall. After that, her snakes pretty much forced her to give him the contract.

(Flashback)

Both Anko and Naruto were standing nearby the tower in the forest of death. Anko looked towards Naruto, annoyed and miffed. "Alright stand back. Manda doesn't like people that much and won't hesitate to eat you." Naruto nods and walks about 20 meters away. Anko went through a five hand seals before biting her thumb. "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" A large puff of smoke dissipated a large purple snake around 70 meters high and about 200 meter longs was curled up around the tower.

The giant snake blinked at it surroundings, not having seen Konoha in a while. Manda looked at the top of his head to see Anko standing there, slightly nervous. "YOU! You dare summon me!" Manda hissed at Anko making her regret ever accepting Naruto's request, well more of a demand but still. "Um... he wanted to sign your contract." Naruto rolled his eyes as he walked up the great snake. "Well it's Hachibi's contract, not his. And she request that I sign it."

Manda hissed at the boy lack of respect to him. "Boy, do you know who you talking to." Naruto eyes flashed purple as he released some of Hachi's youki. "The question is do you?" Manda eyes widen as he felt the youki and something in his mind broke. "You contain mistress." Naruto nodded at the giant snake. "Then you are more than worthy than to sign the contract." Anko jaw dropped and hit Manda's skull. "What the hell! You never allow anyone to sign the contract so easily!"

The giant snake glared at Anko who flinched under his glare. "You will be silent." Manda tongue rolled out in front of Naruto revealing a scroll. Naruto unrolled it and signed his name in blood underneath Anko's name. Naruto rolled it back up and handed it back to Manda. "No child. It is Mistress' scroll, therefore you are the holder of the contract and now the head summoner of our kind. The only reason I obeyed that worthless whelp, Orochimaru was due to the high level genjutsu he placed on me. When you flared her youki, it release his control over me."

Anko jaw completely fell off of her skull and was just laying on Manda's head at this revelation. Naruto nodded then suddenly felt an immense pain in his right arm. He looked at it to see a small black snake merging with it. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Hachibi's voice spoke from inside. "Just bare with it. That's the mark that signifies you as the head summoner." Naruto nodded as he gritted his teeth while the snake merged with his arm. Once finished he looked back at Manda.

"Only summon me when needed. You girl, don't summon me again or I'll devour you." Another poof of smoke and the giant purple snake was gone leaving Anko to crash into the ground. Once she got up and dust herself off she glared at Naruto. "That's it Hebi-kun. You're dead." Naruto's eyes widen as takes off with Anko throwing a massive amount of kunai after him.

Sasuke had pretty much change his attire to what he wears during the finals of the chunin exam except that he had his scythe strapped to his back and looked less broody. Sakura on the other hand had changed. She wore her red shirt with the white circle on the back but instead of the navy blue short she wore she had a black pair of skin tight pants showing of her underdeveloped figure. She wore a pair the armored gloves she got with her boomerangs strapped to her belt for quick assess.

The three were moving through a dense forest with amazing speeds for gennins as they were closing in on a shadowy figure. Naruto jumps behind a tree as he switched on his head set. "This Serpent King. Target has been spotted, over."

"Roger that. Mission has been upgraded to assassination. Uses Bunshin Daibakuha to it's full potential. Shinigami, fire at will. Blossom, keep him from escaping. Falcon out." came Rikimaru voice from over the head set.

Naruto creates a Kage Bunshin and sends him towards the target, which turned out to be nothing more than a cat. Tora sees the clone and attempts to run the other direction when a bladed boomerang nearly takes his head off making the cat hair spike up, making it look like a hairy balloon. The boomerang returns to Sakura gloved hand and as she began to throw it again Tora takes off in the opposite direction to see a giant fireball coming at him. Somehow in managed to duck underneath it and got some minor burns on it's tops side. When it rouse to it's feet it saw another clone rushing towards it. The poor cat barely didn't have enough time to dodge the exploding clone completely that it's hair was burned off. Then a shuriken from Kami knows where connected to it skull, right between the eyes.

"STRIKE! Assassination mission successful. Come home to the wrath of the Fire Lord's Wife." Rikimaru's voice was heard over the intercom. "Damn. I want to kill the cat." Naruto said miffed at his senseis stealing his fun. "Get over it Naruto-nii-san." Sasuke said smiling at the dead cats body. "Okay Otouto." said a smirking Naruto. Sasuke turned towards Naruto and gave him the patent Uchiha death glare. "Call me that again and you'll learn how it feels to be roasted." Naruto laughs nervously while Sakura sighed, used to how the acted around each other. "Ne Sensei, you have the new cat ready."

Rikimaru voice was heard from the intercom as was a hissing of a cat. "Yeah just give me a few moments. CAT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE HERE STOP SCRATCHING ME!"

"Retrieval of the cat Tora is a success, Hokage-sama." Rikimaru said watching with his team as the new cat get squeezed by the fire lord's wife. Sarutobi twitched at them, seeing the assassination of the original cat on his crystal ball. Once she left the room he glares at Team 7 and their sensei who were all whistling and doing their best to look innocent.

Sarutobi glare hardens at the newly dubbed assassination gennin squad. "This is the 3rd time in the three weeks this team has been assembled that you've killed her cat and then replaced it with a identical one. Were in the hell do you get them from?" Naruto looked at his teammates before he speaks up. "Well if you would get us better missions we would stop assassinating the cat. And as for were we get them... I have no clue. It's like Rikimaru-sensei has made clones of that cat, just for the chance to kill them."

Iruka would have yelled at them and told them about mission and how they were assigned, if it weren't for the kunai that went between his ring and middle finger. He glanced up and noticed the death glare Rikimaru was giving him and shrunk back into his seat. The Sandaimes sighs knowing all to we that this team was ready for a higher mission. And if they didn't get one the four would probably go on a pranking rampage, which would end up creating more paper work for him. “Well we do have a C-class escort mission to the wave. Do you accept."

Rikimaru glances at his team. "They have the final choice in the matter. Not me." Rikimaru smirked knowing they would take the mission. Anything was better than weeding the grass in that women garden and grocery shopping for an ungrateful old women. Naruto just nods calmly while Sasuke just gave the hokage the Uchiha death glare, daring him to put him on another D-rank mission. Sakura reaction was much different. She let inner Sakura out. "HELL YEAH! WE WANT A BETTER MISSION! OR DO I HAVE TO SHOVE THIS FLAG POLL UP YOUR ASS!" Everyone sweat drops and backs away from the girl who grabbed the flag poll and looked psychotically at Sarutobi.

Sarutobi looks towards the door before speaking. "Okay. Tazuna you can come in now." A gray hair man with a straw hat walked into the room and glanced at team 7 and there sensei. "Is this all your giving me. A pink haired girl that looks like she could get blown away by a strong gust of wind. A pale blonde haired shrimp that looks like he could use a few days in the sun. A duck's ass headed boy here who looks like he could be gay and a brown haired teen that look like he's barely experienced enough to handle a mild threat."

This caused all four of them to glare at the old man and unconsciously started leaking out there killing intent at him. Naruto pulled out his Wakizashi sword with a seal on it that allowed him to follow Hachi's youki into it. Sasuke pulled out a blood red double edge scythe and started to spin it wildly. Sakura pulls out both of her bladed boomerangs as Rikimaru just pulled out a regular kunai. Rikimaru twitched at this fact. 'Feels like I'm inferior.'

Rikimaru returned his glare at Tazuna before speaking to his team. "Team, escort mission upgraded to assassination. HAVE AT HIM!" The four would have taken their shots at him but a few dozen Anbu jumped down and attempted to restrain the psychologically challenged team.

Ten minutes later they were finally subdued, but not before they managed to injure the majority of the Anbu, knocked a few out and a few low blows that ended those male Anbu's chance to ever have children. And they did this all without breaking a sweat. Sarutobi twitched at this fact. 'Kami what is he teaching them. How to become invincible in 5 easy steps. If I didn't know any better I would say they could take on an A-rank mission and pull it off without much trouble.'

Tazuna looked on in fright at his so called guards. 'Almighty Kami. Please don't let me piss them off during the mission and have mercy on the souls that do so.' Team 7 suddenly disappeared in a cloud of smoke leaving nothing behind. As the remaining able bodied Anbu searched for were they went, two kunai burst through the window. One landed next to Sarutobi while the other landed right underneath Tazuna's love maker. Sarutobi sighed as he read the note on the kunai.

"Meet them at the north gate in a hour. Consider that payback for you saying what you did about them." Tazuna just nodded as he ran out of the room glad everything was still attached. Sarutobi sighed before looking at the unsurprisingly injured cat mask Anbu. "Yugao, I'm going to let you go on the mission with them." Yugao took off her mask and looked at him questionably. "I can understand about sending someone to make sure they don't kill the client but an Anbu captain is a little two much."

Sarutobi sighed as he looked at her. "Well if you must know there is a group called Akatsuki, and they want the bijuu. I'm unsure who or when they will send anyone after him, but it is best to keep him well guarded for know. Two Anbu captain level shinobi should be able to do it." Yugao eyes widen and narrowed when she knew there was something the hokage was leaving out. "Alright. I'll accept this mission Hokage-sama." Sarutobi nodded as she shushined out of the room.

'I just hope that is all you five encounter. Cause if she appears again, none of you will stand a chance.'

"Well we got everything now all we have to do is wait for the old man to get her so we can go." Naruto says a little happy to final get to leave the village. Sasuke smirked having the same thoughts as Naruto. Sakura comes running up with a pack on her back and skidded to a halt. As she looked at both Naruto and Sasuke she noticed something. "Hey, were are your gear for the mission?" Naruto pulled out a scroll. "In here. It much easier to carry and doesn't weight you down. If you would like, I can seal yours into a scroll as well."

Sakura thought about it before she took off and handed it Naruto. Naruto pulls out a spare scroll, unravels it and places the bag seal in the middle. "Put some blood on the seal and push some chakra to it." Sakura bit her thumb, wiped it on the seal and pushed a small amount of chakra into it to she a poof of smoke and the pack disappeared. Naruto rolled up the scroll and handed it to Sakura. Sakura smiled at Naruto as she pocketed the scroll. "Domo Arigato, Naruto."

Rikimaru jumps down from his perch on top of the main gate seeing the Tazuna walking towards them. But he was with a purple haired woman in Anbu armor without the cloak and a mask. "Yugao-nii-chan what are you doing her." asked Naruto curiously as Rikimaru started to back away from the women. "Hokage-sama decided to send me to look after you guys and make sure you and your sensei don't kill the client." Yugao chuckles when she sees the entire team pout, except Rikimaru who make made a few Anbu hand signs saying 'Any other reason'. Yugao silently cursed knowing Rikimaru would know that the old man wouldn't send an Anbu captain for this. She replied by with to seals that made Rikimaru eyes narrow and refrain from growling. 'The Red Dawn. Akatsuki.'

Rikimaru shakes it off and smiles at his team. "Well since I'm still technically in command. Let move out."

A red headed female watches them leave the gate with a evil smirk on her face. "My, my, my looks like I'm going to get another chance and soon." Her smirk fell as her red eyes glow as she watched the Rikimaru and Yugao's hand signs. 'Akatsuki? Hm... Judging by Riki-kun's hardened glare and his glance at Hachi's vessel, I would have to say what ever the Akatsuki is after the bijuu. That explains why we are suddenly starting to disappear.'

Her eyes narrowed before she fazed out of existence.

A few hours after leaving the gates of Konoha, everyone was getting bored. Naruto was activating his Taiingan every now and then but was getting annoyed that they haven't ran into anyone. Sasuke's eyes were twitching because every few moment Sakura would ask him if he wanted to go out on a date. "Sasuke-kun you want to..." Sasuke cut of with a glare of his one tomoe Sharingan. "NO!" Sakura shrunk back and went into a minor depression as she always did when she got rejected. She kick a rock that went into a puddle of water and instead of splashing of water, a clang of metal was heard. 'That strange in hasn't rain for weeks. And what kind of water makes that noise. Hey wait, that's a genjutsu. Why would there be shinobi out here?'

Rikimaru and Yugao both noticed the puddle as did Naruto and Sasuke as they had activate their respective bloodlines and saw two figures in the puddle waiting in the puddle. Naruto was puzzled as to why they were hiding from them, but then noticed the slashes through their hitai-ate. 'What are two Kiri nukenin doing out here.' Sasuke was thing along the same lines except not seeing the slash hitai-ate.

As the passed by the two shinobi rouse from the puddle. The Demon Brothers quickly rushed towards Rikimaru and wrapped their chain around him and pulled attempting to slice him in half. But they weren't counting on him to exploded and destroying the chain that was wrapped around 'him'. Sakura pulls out her boomerangs and jumps in front of Tazuna along with Yugao, who was silently wondering who good the three had got.

Naruto and Sasuke rushed towards the stunned brothers as Sasuke pulled his scythe from his back while Naruto unsheathed his wakizashi. Sasuke slashed horizontally with his scythe and the Gozu parried it with his claw. Sasuke reversed his grip on the blade and turned on his heel as he rammed the other end into Gozu's gut. Gozu managed to jump back, but received a shallow cut to were the blade hit him. Gozu rushes at him and slashes at Sasuke's chest but was easily parried by the metallic staff of the scythe. Sasuke kicked Gozu in the gut and flipped back and plants his scythe into the ground to stop skidding. He quickly flashes through a few hand seals and breathes in deeply before releasing a volley of miniature fireballs. "Katon: Hosenka no Jutsu." The several balls of fire shot towards Gozu in with impressive speed and collided into his chest and one hit him on his armored head, knocking him out.

Naruto slashed at Meizu chest who blocked it with his armored claws. He grabbed the wakizashi in an attempt to strip it from him. Naruto smirked as he pushed some of his chakra into the blade. Meizu yelled in pain and let go of the sword to see some distortion in the air around the blade. Naruto smirked grew as he slashed upward at him. Meizu leaned back but not before a cut shows up stomach for his troubles. He growls and took a swipe at Naruto who easily jumped away from it. Sheathing his blade, Naruto put his hand in his favorite cross seal. "Kage Bunshins no Jutsu." Four kage bunshins popped into existence, unsheathed their wakizashis and charge Meizu. The four engaged him in combat while Naruto did a few more quick seals and his smirk became down right devilish. "Bunshin Daibakuha." The clones grabbed a hold of Meizu and exploded causing a dust debris to cover the area. When it clear, Meizu was severely bleeding from the large wounds and gashes covering his body and from the look of it, was going to die a very long and painful death.

Yugao looked shocked that Naruto actually did that but Sasuke who was tying up the Gozu looked at Naruto strangely. "Hey Naruto, you didn't put enough chakra into that to kill him instantly." Naruto nodded seeing the condition of Meizu was sort of sickening for a non experienced shinobi. Fortunately, Rikimaru showed them pictures people in worse conditions so they would be ready for it when the time came. Speaking oh him, Rikimaru walked out of the trees reading his FMA manga before glancing at his team and the mutilated boy of Meizu. "Good job you three. Sasuke you need to work with your scythe more, Naruto decent job but you were a little slow but I'll fix that, and finally Sakura you need to learn to help your teammates while your guarding someone else. Yugao why did you let them fight the Demon brothers?"

Yugao shrugs "You were going to let them fight anyways and they didn't seem to need any help. If they were in danger I would have step in." Rikimaru glares at her but sighs in defeat. "Alright you win. Tazuna we need to talk. Naruto, finish the job. It's the least you can do to ease his pain." Yugao raised her eyebrows but didn't comment on it, knowing it was a necessary step in order to become a shinobi. Normally you started by taking a bandits life then upgraded to shinobi but this was definitely not a normal situation.

Naruto nodded grimly as he pulled out his wakizashi once more and walked over to Meizu, who was all but screaming in pain. Naruto placed his blade on his neck and raised before taking a few breaths. The idea of killing wasn't something he would enjoy, but knew it had to be done. Naruto closed his eyes as he brought down the sword and felt the blade cut through flesh and bone as blood sprayed on him. Naruto opened his eyes to see Meizu's head roll on the side and his blood leaking out of his severed neck. Naruto flinched when he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked up to she Rikimaru.

"I know what your going to say sensei. I just need a little time to accept it. That's all." Rikimaru nodded and turned to Tazuna with a look of anger in his eyes. Yugao recognized the glint and realized that he didn't want to make his gennin kill just yet. "You and me are going to have a talk, Tazuna." Tazuna gulped knowing this wasn't going to end well. Both Riki and Yugao walked to the side as both Sasuke and Sakura walked up to the somewhat shell shocked Naruto.

Sasuke walked next to Naruto. He was partially glad that he didn't have to kill yet but also felt for Naruto having to do it. He really didn't know what to say and was just going to let Sakura do it and maybe add something in. Sakura was think around the same lines as Sasuke yet knew what to say. "Naruto. Don't dwell on it. It will only make it harder." Sasuke nodded know having an idea of what to say. "And besides, you did him a favor. Without your mercy, he would have died a long and horrible death. That is something that very few people deserve."

Itachi came to mind as he finished the sentence for both Naruto and Sasuke but shoved him out of their minds to dwell upon how to torture him later. "Yeah, I guess you guys are right. But it still going to take some time to get used to." Both nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder. Naruto nodded as they turned around to see Yugao holding Rikimaru back from doing Tazuna bodily harm. After Rikimaru calmed down somewhat, the two walk over to the gennin.

As they were walking towards them Yugao looked at Rikimaru. "Well what do you think?" Rikimaru sighed "As I said in the mission room, it's not up to me it's up to them. I do believe they can handle it, but I don't want to put them through it against their will." After finishing his statement the reached the team seven. Rikimaru scanned them over his subordinates. "There has been a change in plan. The mission is no longer C-rank, but a B-rank maybe even an A-rank. Normally I would just take home and leave Tazuna here. But from what he said, I believe it was the right course of action. Just executed in the wrong way."

Rikimaru took in a deep breath before continuing. "Basically the wave is being held under the iron fist of the Gato corporation. He has cut off all ports to the mainland for Nami and has raised taxes there to a ridiculous level. Even the daimyo doesn't have enough money to afford this mission. Though Tazuna lied to us, he did it for the right intentions. But this mission is up to you three. Do you wish to continue or not. If we do, we will be facing more shinobi. That is guaranteed."

After a few minutes of thinking it over, Naruto is the first to answer. "Hey it either this our going back to lame D-rank missions and the occasional assassination mission." Both Sasuke and Sakura nod their heads agree with Naruto while Yugao glares at Rikimaru. "Assassination mission? There are no missions like that for gen... Oh Kami you've been ordering them to kill the Fire Lords Wife's cat haven't you." Rikimaru laughs nervously, backs away from Yugao and walked up to Tazuna intending on using him as a meat shield if things got ugly.

"Well let's get going team. We still got a ways to go." Rikimaru said nervously as team seven bites their lips not to laugh at him while they walk off with Tazuna leaving a madly twitching Yugao behind.

As the sun was beginning to set the grouped stop. "Alright, let's stop and make camp. Naruto go get wood for the fire, Sasuke go hunt for something edible and Sakura help me set up camp. Yugao... please don't kill me." Rikimaru order his gennin which took off to do their jobs, but whimpered in fear at Yugao wrath. Yugao was still twitching since the revelation that Rikimaru had turned a simple D-class rescue mission of a cat in a damn assassination mission. 'Just as long as Anko and him don't get together. Combine them with Naruto and Konoha might not be able to recover from that disaster.'

Yugao sighed annoyed with Rikimaru's childish personality. "Well I'll guess I will set up some traps." Rikimaru ear twitched as he heard that statement. Rikimaru got up and looked her straight in the eye before yelling. "SCREW THAT! YOU CAMP! ME TRAPS!" And just like that he ran passed her and into the brush were sounds of destruction and construction were heard. Both Sakura and Yugao sweat drop as they hear a chain saw and Rikimaru laughing manically for some unknown reason.

Several minute later the sound of Rikimaru creating his traps was still continuing as a disheveled Naruto with a bunch of kage bunshins came with the firewood looking like they just went through the forest of death being chased by Anko. "Damn Riki-teme's ingenious traps. I'll kick his ass." muttered Naruto as he and his bunshins laid down the firewood. Both girls try not to bust out laughing while Tazuna sitting their looking at them with a trying to figure out What they were laughing at. Not to much later Sasuke came from down the road dragging a deer behind him, grumbling something about killing the sensei and stealing his manga and making him watch it burn.

Sasuke started the fire with a small Ryuka no Jutsu and Yugao skinned the deer. Once ready both Naruto and Sakura roasted the deer over the fire. As soon as it was finished there was a swirl of black fire and their was Rikimaru. Both Naruto and Sasuke jump him and start to beat the shit out of him for his traps nearly killing them. As they did so it poofed out of existence meaning they were beating down a clone. They turn around to see Rikimaru taking a deer leg and sitting down exactly were his clone shushined in and smiled at the two. Both twitched before they started to come up with a plan to get revenge.

After they finished eating and the attempted assassination on Rikimaru, he looked over his team and Yugao. "Alright, it is a little after 8PM right now. We leave at 6AM in the mourning. There is five of us so we will each take two hour shifts. I call the last one since I almost always up by four anyhow." Yugao nodded knowing he would do so. "I'll take the first shift just to get things started. Sasuke looked up from the fire "I'll take the middle shift." Naruto yawned "Well I'll take the fourth shift then. I guess that leaves you with the second, Sakura. She nods and yawns loudly before heading towards her tent.

Not more than five minutes after she fell asleep everyone began to some muttering coming from the her tent. Curiosity getting the better of the still awake ,which was everyone except Tazuna who was passed out on the tree log from drinking to much sake, went to her tent to hear what she was talking about. As they reached the tent they heard her muttering become louder and much easier to hear.

"Yes Sasuke-kun. You want Naruto-kun to join to. Sure! I do both of you!" came from Sakura's voice making the two older shinobi bit their lip to keep from laughing while Naruto and Sasuke paled and started to back away from the tent. But Sakura didn't stop there. "But first let what that Yugao and that lady that been voted the most beautiful in Konoha four years running, have sex with Riki-sensei." Rikimaru paled as he felt Yugao massive KILLING INTENT flared to a level he had never seen before, and quite frankly, never wanted to see again. 'Damn you Sakura for talking in your sleep. I'm the one that going to take the blame here.' Yugao punched Riki and he flew into his own traps setting them off and a few were explosive traps.

(Sakura's Dream)

Rikimaru was giving it to Yugao doggy style while she was eating out Kurenai. Sakura was getting hot just by watching them so her hands slipped to both Naruto's and Sasuke's crotches. She rubbed her hand against their hard cocks and began to unzip their pants. She pulled out both of their cocks and measured them. 'Hm.
