The next day Sasuke woke in a new environment. It was definitely different to any other experience he'd had. The first thing he noticed, and was very thankful for, was that he was not screaming. This was a vast improvement. The next thing was the fact that he was no longer in the hospital ward; it was also not Naruto's house. This new room was small and cluttered. In fact it looked like it had once, not so long ago, been some ones storage room. The walls, what you could see of them, were plain white, but around the edges were piles of junk. There were old scrolls and dirty linen piled everywhere. The drapes on the window were thin with hundreds of hols, where the moths had eaten away at them, and this let in all the light that they were supposed to keep out.

 

The last thing that came to the raven haired boys attention was the presence of a certain whiskered faced ninja, who seemed to think that Sasuke was a giant teddy. The blond had managed to wrap both his legs and arms around his friend during the night and all Sasuke could do was turn to see the sleeping face of the usual hyper ninja. This was such a rarity that Sasuke didn't want to make any sudden movements that would wake him and ruin the quiet moment.

 

As they were Sasuke had time to examine the blond. Normally he didn't stay still long enough for you to get a good proper look, but the face he saw now re-ashorde him of his reason for returning. The fox tailed ninja was, in Sasuke's opinion, beautiful. Asleep he was like an angel, innocent and alluring. Over the years the boy had matured into a young adult, his jaw line had become more defined, elongating the once rounded face. He had grown his hair so that it almost hit his broad shoulders, but left enough room so it wasn't too long. The whisker scars on his cheeks were no longer a burden but looked right against the adult face. He was as handsome as the fourth. When he was awake the blond's brilliant blue eyes were just as large and as eager as ever.

 

Sasuke's eyes were drawn to the blond's plump lips. The memory of the boy's first kiss swam back to the front of his memory and he could remember the soft feeling of those lips against his own. That one incident had started a strange fascination with his team mate, which had, over many years, grown into a love. He had hated fighting with his friend, but knew he had to focus on the original plan, so he'd forced himself to shut off all forms of distraction. But this ninja just wouldn't let him go.

 

He was drawn to those lips, desperate for another feel of them. Just one more kiss, Naruto would never know he was fast asleep. The sharingan ninja edged forward, trying to make no noise, but he was sure his breathing was too loud. He could feel the others warm breath against his face, adding to the suspense. He was a millimetre away, one breath and their lips would touch. Just one more millimetre.

 

The blond's eyes were open.

 

In his shock Sasuke pushed too hard against his friend forcing himself backwards and off the bed and on to the floor. He ended up as a crumpled heap in a pile of junk.

 

`Sasuke!' Naruto shouted as he jumped to the side of the bed. `What are you doing down there?'

 

`Don't ever use me as a teddy again.' The Uchiha untangled himself and left the room without a backwards glance.

 

He stepped out into a small and very messy living room come kitchen. It was much the same decoration as the room he had left, with piles of scrolls and random junk lining the walls in tall piles. Some where under the mess was a small green squishy looking couch, and the kitchen didn't look particularly clean.

 

`Naruto.' Sasuke called back and said ninja came to his side. All he was wearing was a some heart patterned underwear, you could see everything else, the well defined chest, the broad shoulders and the strong legs. His hair was sleep tousled and his eyes weren't quite open. Sasuke took a deep breath and forced himself to focus on anything but the blond. `Where am I?'

 

`Oh yer, the Hokage was angry at me so she's put Kakashi in charge of us and he didn't want to stay at mine. So we're staying at his.'

 

`What?'

 

`Do you not approve of my home?' the copy ninja asked as he came up behind them.

 

`Its a tip.'

 

`What did you expect? Naruto's is only tidy because Sakura cleans it. I don't have time for that.'

 

`We'll I suppose it suits you then.'

 

`Look I don't really care. There's just a few ground rules, first if you're staying here chip in to some of the food expenses, you're not a guest. Next the hot water will run out after ten minutes. And finally don't go into my room. Got it.'

 

`Why?'

 

`There's someone in his room.' Naruto whispered into his ear, sending a shiver down the Uchia's spine. `I heard them last night, making strange noises. At one point someone was in a lot of pain.' He was so naive.

 

`Yes, well... all I ask is you stay away from my room.'

 

`So Naruto wasn't making up there's really someone in there.' Sasuke was trying to not let it catch his interest but the copy ninja never let them anywhere into his private life so he was automatically curious.

 

`Yer, tell us who it is.' Naruto cheered. He was starting to wake up and it wouldn't be long before he was trying to pry the door open to get a look.

 

`You two are mistaken. There is no one in my room. Now who would like breakfast?'

 

`I would, I would.' A simple distraction technique that worked a treat on the whisker faced young man.

 

`First Naruto, could you please put some clothes on, at least Sasuke has the decency to wear a vest and trousers.'

 

`Fine. But then I get food?' Their old sensei just chuckled and nodded. The blond bounded back into the room he had slept in.

 

Kakashi started moving around the small and messy kitchen picking out pots and pans to use for the breakfast making process. After he had all his ingredients together he turned his visible eye back to his guest.

 

`So how are you feeling today?'

 

`Fine.'

 

`You gave us quite a shock yesterday. You guna tell me what triggered it.' Sasuke simply gave the grey haired man the look that meant, in your dreams. `You're going to have to tell the Hokage then.'

 

`If she asks I will tell her. But not until.'

 

`Fine fine, don't tell me, I'm just worried about you that's all. Oh Naruto,' He called through to the other room, `A message arrived for you.' The blond popped his head through the door.

 

`For me?'

 

`Yer it was from the hospital.'

Lee stood in the large sterile hospital room. With its plain white walls and lowed machinery. The bushy browed young man looked down on the red headed Kazekage who's life had been entrusted to him. The Hokage had ordered him to look after their young guest, he was the only one allowed to personally guard the sand ninjas body. Lee wished she had assigned someone else to this post, even after all these years and the number of other missions they had done with each other, there was still that little voice at the back of his head that said run whenever he saw Gaara.

 

Of course looking at him now the red head seemed harmless, even adorable as he quietly slept.

 

`Stop that.' Lee jumped as the supposedly sleeping man opened his cold eyes.

 

`I am very sorry.' The green ninja jumped to attention. Gaara just growled and began to remove the many wires that attached him to the machinery. `No, you must not do that, those wires are important.' Lee rushed to the man's side and forced him to lie still on the bed.

 

`Get your hands off me.'

 

`I can not, if I do you will remove the wires and after the amount of surgery you have had this is not safe.' Gaara gave up struggling and lay back glaring at his body guard.

 

`Where am I?'

 

`This is the intensive care unit at the leaf village hospital, your siblings are also in this hospital.' Something shifted in those pupil less eyes, was it worry. `They are fine.' Gaara physically relaxed. It was odd for him to show any emotion for others, it made Lee smile.

 

`Why am I hear?'

 

`You do not remember?' there was a moment silence. `You were attacked. We are not sure how but your personal defences were breached, and you became unconscious. Your siblings were able to get a message to us and hide you from your attackers. That is how you ended up here.'

 

`Why are you here?'

 

`I was put in charge of your safety. I will protect you with my life.'

 

`I need to speak with your Hokage.' Gaara growled out as he looked lee up and down.

 

`I will send message of your waking and she will be here as soon as she gets it.' He left the room to find a nurse. On returning he found Gaara once again trying to remove himself from the machinery. `pleas no, do not do that.' He was forced to pin the Kazekage down again to stop him from doing any harm.

 

They sat like this for half an hour, Lee pinning Gaara who simply stared at him with a disgusted look until the Hokage appeared in the room.

 

`Lee what are you doing?'

 

`Having sex!'

 

`Sai how many times have I told you not to butt into others conversations.'

 

`I couldn't help it.' And the innocent faced boy carried on his journey down the corridor.

 

`Now would someone like to explain what's going on?'

 

`First will you get your ninja off me?' Gaara growled. Lee could feel sand beginning to grate across his skin.

 

`Lee.' She didn't bark it but the young ninja knew what authority was there.

 

`I can not, I am sorry.'

 

`Lee.'

 

`If I do he will remove these wires and you assigned me to keeping him safe.'

 

`It's ok lee I wont let him take out any wires, you can let him go.' The green ninja slowly got up making sure not to pull on any of the wires he had spent so long trying to save. `Now I need to see if there's anything wrong with you, do you mind if I examine you.' The Sand Kage shook his head and allowed her to check him over. `Lee you can wait outside I need to talk with Gaara, I'll call when were finished.' He nodded and left the room, walking a small way down the corridor so that he wasn't eves dropping.

 

The two Kage's spent two hours discussing things that Lee was not allowed to know about. Unlike many of his fellow shinobie he was not in the least bit interested in finding out what secrets were the subject of their discussion, he was to focused on his own mission.

 

Finally Tsunade stepped from the hospital room and called him back. She closed the door behind them and he turned to face her.

 

`I have discussed things with Gaara and he will be staying in our village for a while. He is a political refuge and will need a lot of protection while he is here, I trust that you will do your best to keep him safe while he is with us.'

 

`Yes, I will protect him with my life.' Lee was excited that his first solo mission was so high ranking but there was still that little voice in the back of his head that said refuse it now. But he squashed it. `You can count on me Lady Hokage.'

 

`Good.' She smiled at his enthusiasm. `Then I will leave this in you capable hands. Gaara I will send some one over to discharge you and get you settled into somewhere.'

 

The red head man just grunted as his host left him alone with his new body guard. He didn't see why this over excited, badly dressed ninja had been left his safety. Gaara was sure he would be saving Lee more times then the green ninja saved him but he didn't want to argue.

 

`Well,' Lee turned to Gaara face beaming, `I hope we may train to gether and get along very well in the prime of our youth.'

 

This was going to be a long couple of weeks.

Kakashi wondered down the road considering life and not worrying too much about leaving the boys to do the cleaning. Yes there was the chance that they were just using it as an excuse to get rid of him and then run off, He wouldn't put anything past Naruto. But the look on Sasuke's face had clearly shown his disgust at the state of the grey haired man's home. It wasn't his fault that he never had time to clean, but there were so many other more important things to do. Like checking up on his favourite ninja teacher at the academy. And that was where he was off to now.

 

The copy ninja had neglected to tell his secret lover that his students would be staying with him for a few days so was still nursing a saw head. Iruka could have such a temper on him when he wanted to, especially when it came to Naruto.

 

It was hard sharing his home especially as it had been so long, and now it was invaded by two teens. If you could call them that now. And not just that one of them was the most boisterous ninja in the whole village. Why had he agreed to this?

 

Not concentrating on his way to the academy Kakashi collided into something small and human like. As soon as he heard the yelp he knew he was in for a world of pain. The copy ninja had ended up flat on his back with Sakura lying next to him, boxes strune all around them.

 

`Why you... I'll pummel you...' The pink haired woman was clearly upset. She picked her self up muttering curses under her breath. She brushed her self down and turned to see who had forced her to loose her cargo. When the short tempered woman saw who it was she emediatly stopped cursing and turned bright pink. `Sensei?'

 

`I'm sorry Sakura. I was lost in thought and didn't see you.' He began to pick up the many boxes she had been carrying.

 

`No its fine.' She snatched her boxes off him and ran off in the direction she had been originally been travelling.

 

Kakashi sighed as he watched her run away. It hadn't been the same since that night, she'd let him in on more of her inner demons then she was comfortable with and now Sakura could never let herself be normal with him when they were alone. Constantly being embarrassed. He regretted the loss of their friendship.

 

Oh well, he was off to get himself some sensei ass.

He didn't know how it had happened. All the young man knew was the torture would never end. Naruto had never even cleaned his own home, and here he was dressed in a pink piny, yellow gloves and a bandana that pulled his hair out of his eyes. A bucket and mop had been pushed into his hand and the poor ninja was now standing in the doorway to the most disgusting looking bathroom he had ever come across, and that included his own.

 

`what's wrong dobe, scared of a little cleaning?' Sasuke called to him from somewhere under the piles of junk in the living room.

 

`No.' Naruto shouted back as he turned to face the horror of his new job. `But why do I have to do this. It's woman's work.'

 

`Don't let Sakura here you say that.' Naruto shuddered as he got the mental image of the pink haired ninjas reaction to his views, he hurt just thinking about it.

 

`Fine, but I'm not doing this on my own.' There was a puff of smoke and five blond, whiskered faced boys stood where only a second before there had only been one. `Too work.' He shouted and leaned against the door way as his clones did his job for him.

 

`That's cheating you know.' Sasuke said millimetres from Naruto's ear. The blond jumped from shock, and went bright red. He didn't want to admit it but the closeness sent tingles down his spine, these new emotions were annoying him.

 

`Don't do that.' He rounded on his friend about to have ago until he saw the living room. Naruto was sure that only moments ago there had been piles of junk, but now there were plastic bin liners and scrolls pilled on a shelf that the blond had never seen before. `How the hell did you do that?'

 

`I lived by myself for years, you get used to it.'

 

`You do?'

 

`well a normal person would, but you and Kakashi don't seem to be normal.'

 

`Sure.' Naruto nodded and then realised that this meant they were practically finished. `So what should we do now?'

 

`What do you want to do?' Sasuke asked suddenly suspicious. He knew what he wanted to do, but he reckoned Naruto's thing was going to cost him money.

 

`It's been so long since we last ate, and Kakashi doesn't have much in so....'

 

`I'm not buying you ramen.'

 

`Whyyyy? I helped you clean.' The blond wined.

 

`Sure, you did me a huge favour.' Sasuke added extra sarcasm in case the point didn't get through that thick blond head. `I'm not the only person who has to live here.'

 

`But I'm hungry.' Naruto's stomach growled for extra effect.

 

`Then buy yourself ramen.'

 

`But I have no money.' The blond continued to whine.

 

`What did you spend your last wages on?'

 

`Ramen!' like there's anything else in the world Naruto thought.

 

`Then you need to budget better.'

 

`I promise next time I will but just this once.' He looked up at his friend with big puppy eyes.

 

Sasuke's heart stopped beating for a moment and if he didn't get his thoughts under control he was sure to have a nose bleed. But he was unable to resist those big blue eyes.

 

`Fine, just this once.'

 

`Wahoo!'

 

`But you have to clean Kakashi's room.'

 

`Crap.'

Twenty minutes later and the two had left the house. Naruto was sporting a black eye, no it wasn't because of a fight he had gotten into with Sasuke or because he had fallen over, but because the boys hadn't realised what lengths Kakashi had gone to, to keep them out of his room.

 

`You better be buying me two bowls.' Naruto grumbled as they walked towards the greatest ramen store in town.

 

`What? No way, it was your own fault your such an idiot.' Though his mood was cold, inside he was singing with happiness. To him it was like a date. Able to walk down the road with the person he liked the best, buying him food. That's how Sakura had always described a date. So wasn't this a date if it was the two of them.

 

`Hey, Naruto.' Sasuke's heart sunk as he heard Kiba behind them. `What you do...' He obviously just saw Sasuke.

 

`Oh hey Guys.' As the two turned round they found a group of six of their friends. Kiba was joined by Hinata, who was clinging on to his arm, Neji, who was keeping an eye on his cousin with her new boyfriend, Tenten was trying to get Neji's attention back on her, Sai and Ino, who threw herself at Naruto hugging him round the neck.

 

`Hey Naruto, where have you been recently.' Sasuke's blood began to boil.

 

`We'll I have been a bit busy.'

 

`Too busy to come visit me.' Sasuke was a little confused with what was going on, why was she flirting with the dobe. Last time Sasuke had checked Naruto was a woman repellent, what was going on.

 

`Ino get of the boy,' Kiba sighed, `No one wants you and Choji in another argument. Anyway, what you up to Naruto.' It was normal for Kiba to completely ignore Sasuke, in fact most the male ninjas did, and non of Naruto's friends approved of him looking after his old friend.

 

`He's on a date.' Sai called from the back of the groups, this earned him dirty looks.

 

`Were off to get food.' The blond tried to turn to continue his journey.

 

`Great we'll join you.' Tenten chimed in.

 

`But I...But I...' Naruto turned to Sasuke with a look of panic in his eyes.

 

`We'll do ramen later.' He whispered into the blonds ear. Sasuke didn't notice as his friend shivered.

 

`What's up Naruto?' Tenten still acted like Naruto was a little kid when she spoke to him, which would usually annoy him but today he was to distracted to care.

 

`I wanted ramen.' He was trying so hard not to let his lip wobble.

 

`We can still have that, there's nothing saying eight friends can't enjoy some ramen together.'

 

`Are you insane woman,' Naruto exploded, `Do you know what time it is, We'd be lucky if more than two of us could find a place to sit. At the end of a long work day all the carpenters are there looking for some hot ramen. No we'll have to go somewhere else.'

 

`I don't see why you had to shout.' She pouted as she turned to Neji.

 

`Fine then we'll go somewhere else, I'll pick.' Ino pranced away, grabbing Naruto's hand as she passed him.

 

Ten minutes later the group had found themselves seated and waiting for the meal. They had found Choji and Shikamaru along the way.

 

`Hey Shika,' Naruto called from the bottom of the table, `aren't you supposed to be on guard duty?'

 

`Yer but it was a drag, plus I don't think that sand girl needs any protection. I spent most my time defending poor nurses against her. The only one that really needs watching is Gaara.'

 

`So its true the three of them are in the village?' Kiba asked.

 

`Yer, looks like they'll be here a while too. I hope I don't get put on permanent babysitting duty like lee.'

 

`Lee seems to be enjoying his new appointment.' Tenten noted.

 

`That's because it shows the Hokage has a lot of trust in him.' Neji stated.

 

`Na...Naruto,' the blond turned to face the small woman beside him as her face turned bright red. It was so sweet that Hinata was still nervous around him, even after she started dating Kiba, `Have you been to visit yet?' she managed to squeak out.

 

`No, I got a message saying he was awake and when I asked to see him I was told I had to wait.'

 

`You asked.' Kiba laughed.

 

`I'm trying to get into old lady Tsunade's good books.'

 

`Because of his boyfriend.' Called Sai.

 

`you..umm you have a boyfriend?' Hinata asked.

 

`No I don't.' Naruto growled.

 

`Hey there's no need to get angry at Hinata.' Kiba shouted at the blond while he snaked his arms around his girlfriend.

 

`I'm sorry Hinata but this jerks been annoying me all weekend.' He glared daggers at the innocent faced boy across the table from him.

 

`Don't bother with him Naruto,' Sasuke cooed, `its just because he wants what he can't have.'

 

`Why would I want what I've already had?' Sai smiled back.

 

`What?' Shocked was the wrong word for what Sasuke was feeling, if there was a word bigger than that it would be most appropriate for what the raven haired boy was feeling. He looked to the fox boy beside him who was now bright red and staring at the food which had appeared from nowhere.

 

`You were un aware?' Neji asked.

 

`I didn't tell him what wasn't important.'

 

`I just assumed Naruto would be innocent for ever, he's so...'

 

`dense.' Kiba finished for him.

 

`Yer, so you were with Sai, in what way.'

 

`Every way.' Sai grinned.

 

`That's not true.' The poor whisked faced boy blurted out. `I was just curious.'

 

`And drunk.' Tenten added.

 

`yer.'

 

So who else?' Sasuke didn't really want to know. `I mean I want to know what my best friends been up to, it seems I've missed a lot.'

 

`Who hasn't he been with.' Ino laughed.

 

`Ino, that's not fair. I've had four serious relationships, they just all ended the same way.'

 

`yer with you getting off with someone else while drunk.' Shikamaru added in.

 

`Now lets see,' Kiba held up four fingers bending one back as he started, `There was Yuri, the girl from the cake shop. You were with her for half a year, until the Christmas party and you fooled around with her best friend. I think the cake shop closed down after that. Then there was Sakura, that lasted a year, wasn't she your first too. But that ended when she found you in bed after the Halloween ball with Ino.'

 

`Sure did.' Ino said as she liked her lips.

 

`woman stop liking your lips your just making me more hungry.' Choji said, he was paying absolutely no attention to what was going on.

 

`After her was Sai, I think that was more lust, didn't you guys last like two months until Choji's house party where he found you with Sakura. And last of all was that pen friend none of us was allowed to meet, who dumped you when you went to visit them because she took you to a party and you slept with her brother.'

 

`Wow.' Was all the sharingan user could say.

 

`Guys don't tell him all that without telling him why I was like that.' The blond was now past embarrassment and reaching for anger.

 

`Yes it should be said that the only thing that caused all of these incidences was the fact that one sip of sake and your friend becomes a complete opposite to drunken Lee.' Neji said in his cold voice.

 

`Hahaha, I really can't see Naruto doing that.' Suddenly Sasuke couldn't stop the laughter.

 

`It's not funny.'

 

`yer it is, I mean this morning you couldn't tell that Kakashi had been having sex last night and now I find out that one sip of sake and you're the village bike.'

 

`What was that?' came Kakashi's voice. The Uchiha looked up to see his sensei leaning over the divide between the booths.

 

`Hi sensei, what are you doing here?'

 

`On a date.'

 

`You are not.' Exploded Iruka from inside Kakashi's booth.

 

`shush my dear.' They all had to dodge as Iruka started throwing cutlery. `We couldn't help over hearing your conversation.'

 

`How much did you hear?' The fox boy asked.

 

`Oh, all of it. Shikamaru I hope your aware that the sand ninja operation is classified. And Sasuke I would appreciate it if you didn't try and enlighten Naruto, especially in front of a restaurant full of people.'

 

`Sorry sensei.'

 

`We'll then I'm off. And may I say how delicious your looking today Hinata.' Kibas arms tightened around his girlfriend and Neji looked like he was going to throw something.

 

`Don't perv.' Kiba bit out.

 

`So sorry Kiba I forgot to say how delicious you are as well.' It was always to tempting to wind Kiba up. Then there was a puff of smoke and he was gone.

 

There was a few moments of silence where no one was sure what they should say next. Naruto hopped that the distraction was enough to get them on to a different subject, Sasuke wanted to know more. After a few minutes there was a cough and the conversation began again.

 

`So then there was that time Naruto went to the wave country...'

 

`Seriously Sai shut the fuck up.' Sasuke grabbed Naruto around the waist to stop him from launching himself across the table at the still grinning Sai.

 

`Oh yer that was a juicy story.' Tenten nodded. It had obviously been a great piece of gossip.

 

`I'm gunna kill you all.' The blond had now reached pure anger and if it hadn't been for Sasuke and Neji quickly restraining him they probably would all have been slaughtered by shadow clones. `get off me, I'll kill `em, I'll kill `em all.'

 

`Just calm down dobe, its nothing you should get upset about.'

 

`ooo blow in his ear, it always calms him down.' Ino suggested.

 

`What? No way.' But Sasuke's friend really had gone past the point of no return.

 

`Just do it.' Shikamaru told him. `This is so boring.'

 

`Why cant you do it?' He asked the lazy ninja.

 

 

`Your the closest.' Was all the reply he got.

`Then Neji can do it.'

 

`No he cant.' Tenten shouted at the Uchiha.

 

`I'm not going down that road again.' Neji sighed; it took Sasuke a minute to take that piece of information in.

 

`Fine,' Sasuke slowly pulled the hair back from the whiskered boy's ear and slowly blew. Immediately Naruto stopped struggling and collapsed against Sasuke's chest. The raven haired man wrapped his arms around his friend to support him.

 

`See it wasn't that hard.' Shikamaru commented.

 

`Sasuke?' Naruto peered up at his friend, eyes big yet sleepy, a dazed look on his face, The sharingan user was trying so hard not to have naughty thoughts, damn that dobe. `What's going on?'

 

`You tried to kill everyone idiot.'

 

`Oh, why?'

 

`Because we pointed out that you've seen everyone at this table naked.' Sai stated.

 

`Oh yer I remember.' An angry glint came to the blonds eye and he sat up. `Could I just kill him?'

 

`No. I'm not sure why I'm the one on constant watch when you're the dangerous one.'

 

`Its because your the one who abandoned his village, almost got all his friends killed and tried to murdered Naruto, his best friend. Then you continually betrayed your so called best friend every chance you got. Only returning to us when you'd murdered your own brother. I think that's right.' Kiba said. It was the first time he'd chosen to talk to the Uchiha and his voice was cold.

 

`Ki..Kiba that's not fair.' Hinata squeaked out in Sasuke's defence.

 

`I don't see why we have to trust this jerk. I wont let Hinata out by herself while he's around.'

 

`That's enough.' Ino added.

 

`Let the man talk woman.' Choji told her. `He's got some valid points.'

 

`Yer, why are you back?' Shikamaru asked. `You never cared about us before.'

 

`Leave him alone.' Naruto snarled.

 

`Were just looking out for you mate. We wouldn't want him attacking you again.' There was tentativeness to Shikamaru's look when he spoke to Naruto, you could tell he was worried about his friend.

 

`He would never...' Sasuke cut Naruto off by holding up a hand.

 

`I realise you have no reason to trust me, and that you have no desire to. It's true I abandoned this village to do something truly selfish and because of that a lot of you were badly hurt. But it's not your approval I'm looking for.' He turned to his friend. `Let's go.'

 

He placed money on the table and the two left the now quiet restaurant. Naruto itched to reach out and take the others hand, to let his friend know he wasn't alone, but he quietened the urge and simply followed the raven outside.

 

Ok so this is the end of my second chapter, I hope you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun writing it especially the restaurant seen. I hope you liked it and it wasn't too silly for you. :D
