Uchiha Sasuke looked on as that stupid teme Uzumaki Naruto showed him up once again. It was infuriating. He was of the noble clan of Uchiha he should be this weak. It isn't as though he doesn't train or work hard. He does it all but can never seem to catch up. It wasn't fair that single girl in every one of their classes absolutely fawned over him. It was bad enough that he was always in Itachi's shadow never mind this loser's. So he remained comfortable trying to outdo Naruto while supposedly hating his guts. But…

 

Uzumaki Naruto saw Sasuke out of the corner of his eye. 'Take that dobe' He may have had no parents but Naruto knew that he was blessed with talent. Now he worked for that talent and deserved it or so he thought. It wasn't like he was unkind or spiteful to anybody except Dobe and he don't count. It wasn't that he hasn't always wanted to be friends with Sasuke. Even though he wasn't the nicest guy he was still kinda cool, but the kid was such a jerk to him he couldn't stand it. So he did his damnedest to keep at the top and pretended to be completely oblivious to Sasuke's existence.

 

Now what both boys didn't realize as they were comfortable with their distance and disdain for each other was that they were about to be thrown together in the worst possible way. Teammates…
