Sakura was startled awake by noises in another room. Lee ,apparently undisturbed by the noises ,slept on. She jumped when she heard a crash. The girl shook her lover awake.
“What’s up?” he mumbled.
“Lee, someone’s in the house.”
More noises flowed into the room. Lee climbed out of the bed, baffled . He headed for the room were the noise was coming from.
“Be careful,” Sakura said.
Lee didn’t respond but she knew he heard her. There was silence for a moment them she heard Lee shouting and what sounded like a scuffle. There was shouting and crashing and she was getting scared. She slowly crept towards the room and jump when someone pounded at the door. She opened the door and before she knew it Gai and Kakashi where heading towards the back of the house. The sound of a vicious scuffle quieted and the two teachers pushed the boy who was grumbling.
“Did-did you see who it was?” she asked.
“No. He slipped out the window before the light got turned on,” Lee growled ,wiping blood from his bloody lip.
While Lee nursed his wounds in the bathroom, Gai and Kakashi helped Sakura clean up the kitchen. It all took about an hour. Then the two men left the two lovers alone. Sakura laid her head on Lee’s shoulder and began to cry.
“It’s okay love. It’s okay. We’ll be okay,” he whispered.
They laid down again and snuggled close to each other. They drifted off to sleep slowly as the moonlight danced off the walls of their room.

Sasuke cursed vituperatively as he bandaged a scrape he’d received during the scuffle. Lee was stronger then he looked at it was dark in that kitchen. He was outmatched when the two teachers showed up. They had probably sensed the danger and went to check on the two other students. He continued to curse as he began ,once again, to pace .Sasuke was becoming more and more uncertain if he would be able to get his revenge. He decided that he would have to be stubborn and keep going.
He needed revenge like he needed air. He was pissed. Sasuke growled out ideas to himself. He would need to come up with a new plan. Lee needed to die and Sakura had to come back to him. Perhaps Sasuke could get Sakura to come back to him if he threatened to kill Lee, which he was going to do anyway. But he could convince the gullible Sakura that if she came back to him he wouldn’t and then when the other was killed he could convince her it wasn’t him. He’d really be able to play with her emotions .He could probably convince her of anything. This time failure was not an option.

The weeks went by and Sasuke hadn’t had a chance to talk to Sakura. She terrified of him and Lee kept getting in the way. The martial artist was very protective of her and wouldn’t allow Sasuke within five feet of the pink-haired girl. He would need to speed up his plan to get rid of Lee. But that hit a glitch as well. Neji seemed to suspect something and was always giving him evil looks.
Lee and Sakura had become even closer then ever. They still hadn’t made out yet but Sakura felt like the right time would was soon. They were inseparable. They were always together and they always had fun. Lee had given Sakura a promise ring on their six month anniversary. They watch the sun sink over the trees as they kept each other warm.
“Lee...”
“Hm?”
She kissed him gently and whispered,” I’m ready.”
“But-but-but....isn’t...isn’t it...”
“It’s ok .It would be an honor to carry your child.”
The night was getting warmer.They slipped inside and under the covers.
