Chapter 2: Whooooo Are You?

For five years, Naruto Ukumaki had been enjoying his role in his band with his friends. As the singer, he did wild things on stage and always was able to fire up the audience. He loved rock music and sang it with a huge passion. His band; Rasengan, had been doing well since the start but when they got signed and released their first album; Rasengan: Hard Rock Assassins, they had gone to superstardom.

 

The band started as a garage jam band who played at talent shows and such.

Both guitarists switched between lead and rhythm which added some diversity from other bands. The raven haired guitarist was Sasuke Uchiha; the other living Uchiha since his brother Itachi had gone crazy at a family reunion and shot many family members before burning the house down and leaving the country. He tried to forget all that and becoming rivals with Naruto helped. But soon enough, he became friends with Naruto and the band had become his passion.

 

Next is the other red haired guitarist, Gaara Sabaku. He has also led a sad life as he was born with the odd power to have telekinesis, over sand. Doctors and skeptics couldn't explain it, but some say he is possessed by a demonic presence and should be killed. He accidentally killed some people as a child and was hated. As the son of a rich mogul, many tried to assassinate him but failed usually at the hands of Gaara himself. His own Uncle attempted to kill him but was promptly killed by Gaara. Gaara used to be evil and hateful, he was controlled by something and killed some people but he wasn't arrested because whatever caused him to do it left due to Naruto. Gaara was saved by Naruto somehow, no one could explain but Naruto simply just jumped on Gaara, beat him senseless and said “WAKE UP!” Gaara realized what he was doing and saw Naruto cared and ever since the thing controlling him has gone into recession. He also has a brother and a sister who used to be afraid of him until Naruto helped him.

 

The bassist is Shikamaru Nara, a carefree, lazy guy who loves to watch clouds. There isn't much to his history, just a normal kid who has a passion for clouds, sleeping, and music. Shikamaru is a very laid back guy who sits down and writes songs with inspirations from being carefree and relaxed. He has always seen romance as troublesome, and seems to hold onto that word very much in his life. He also plays acoustic guitars and sings when he isn't playing with the band. He used to have a solo act called Shadow and he still does small gigs.

 

Here now is the drummer, Kiba Inuzuka. Kiba is a free spirit maverick kind of guy. He loves doing things his way and has a wild and crazy mind. He is very outgoing, and befriends people easily. His best companion is his dog Akamaru, who he's had since he was a kid. He even has tattoos on his cheeks that represent fang marking showing his dog-like nature. Some fanatics think he even has the spirit of a wolf in him and that is why he is so dog-like. He is a great drummer and loves from punk to hardcore metal. He has wild drum solos and his idol is Joey Jordinson from Slipknot.

 

Last but not least, is Naruto Uzumaki. This guy has also had a harsh life. Like Gaara, some think he is possessed by an ancient demon from long ago that destroyed villages and killed thousands. The only proof they have is the mark on his stomach that is the demon seal from thousands of years ago. His parents have never been known as he was found in a burning village. A man named Iruka raised him since he was a baby and made sure he became a good citizen. Good citizen hardly describes him though, as Naruto was a huge trouble maker during his childhood, constantly vandalizing things and lacking proper respect. He somehow remained a crazy outgoing kid, even though nearly everyone hated him and wouldn't be his friend. Deep inside though, he had a side of him that was hurt and alone, and his words could make a serial killer into a choir boy. He started to mature though and eventually had many friends and people who accepted him. He created the band made it what it is today. His wild onstage antics and outgoing personality make him the perfect frontman for the band, and his voice can range from Bruce Dickenson to Jim Morrison.

 

 

These people are what make Rasengan, and are the reason for its superstardom. All of them have deep studies in music and have had experiences with it throughout their life. Each member is unique and makes it so the band has a wide range of playing styles and types of music to play. So, I present to you now, the story of Rasengan.
