Chapter 8: When Worlds Collide

*flashback to last chapter*

“We shall see about that, Ice-Fucker.” said Naruto as he pulled into a fighting stance.

 

“Hahaha, yes, we shall see.” said the blue-haired bastard as he pulled into a fighting stance and leaped into the air, causing Naruto to do the same.

 

“RAAAAHHHH!!!” yelled Hiakuma as he prepared to punch midair.

 

“AHHHHHHHH!!” yelled Naruto as he drew back his fist also.

 

And then, *BAM!* A punch connects, and something hits the ground.

*end flashback*

 

Both fighters land on their feet on opposite sides from where they jumped, and both turn to see Snow on the ground unconscious. Naruto stood in awe, angry and shocked whereas Hiakuma simply just seemed a bit confused. Suddenly Naruto looked up and became enraged at the fact that Hiakuma was now smiling.

 

“STOP SMILING BASTARD!” said Naruto. “Stop it, right now.”

 

“Hahahahahaaa! Stupid bitch got in my way!” he said in an amused voice. “She shouldn't have jumped in front of me to protect such a loser like you! You should've seen your face when she got in front of you! Priceless! Like a deer in headlights! Man, she's probably less wimpy than you!”

 

“Rrrrrrr…I'LL KILL YOU!!” said Naruto as he jumped towards Hiakuma and tried to punch him, only for his fist to be stopped by Hiakuma's hand.

“Idiot. Who the hell tries just running up to someone and punching them while the other is standing there expecting it?” He gave a swift knee to Naruto's stomach causing him to double over. He then did a one-handed hand sign and water formed in hand, taking the shape of a kunai. It froze over suddenly and he grabbed it out of the air, and stabbed Naruto deep in the back.

 

“Ugh!” screamed Naruto in agony.

 

“HA HA! Who knew the Kyuubi kid would die so easily?!”

 

Suddenly Naruto disappeared in a cloud of dust and Hiakuma drew back, confused.

 

“What the fu-” was all that came out of Hiakuma's mouth before Naruto drop kicked him from above into the water.

 

Naruto watched as Hiakuma sank into the water while he was jumping to stand on the water. He landed gently on the water, balanced his chakra, and waited for him to come up. Suddenly, bubbles began to pop furiously on the surface and a cyclone of water rushed from the depths with Hiakuma inside doing a hand sign.

 

“MIZU-TEIKIATSU NO JUTSU!!!” (Water cyclone)

 

Naruto swiftly dodged to first pass of the giant cyclone, but the second pass slapped Naruto in the face and sucked him into the rotating spiral of water. He spun at high velocity as he slowed more and more, getting into the center of the water cyclone. Hiakuma then lowered himself to a disoriented Naruto inside the cyclone and punched him in face so that Naruto went spiraling out, and splashed into the water outside.

 

Hiakuma then released the jutsu and landed back onto the water, laughing. He was beginning to celebrate when Naruto flew out from under the water below him and gave him a strong uppercut to the jaw. Hiakuma flipped in the air like rag doll and plummeted head first into the water.

 

Then Naruto took a dive after Hiakuma into the water, hitting the dazed Hiakuma each time he zipped by him in the water. Hiakuma then grabbed Naruto's foot on one of his passes and spun him, finally letting him go flying out of the water and into a support beam of the bridge, only to plummet right back into the water.

 

Hiakuma then zoomed toward a recovering Naruto and jabbed him hard in the chest, taking Naruto with him as he swam. Naruto spat a bit of blood in the water and his eyes bulged. Hiakuma then spun himself around and kicked Naruto in the face, rocketing him downwards toward the sandy bottom.

 

 

Naruto impacted, making sand fly up and causing the water below to look murky. He used this to his advantage and did his trademark hand sign. Hiakuma looked around in the murky water, angered when suddenly he was kicked in the face. Then he took an uppercut from the opposite direction.

 

`Damn it! Two different directions?! What the h-Ah!' was what Hiakuma thought as he received a kick to his side from another direction. A second after, he took a punch from the opposite direction, and then another from a different direction.

 

“Suikodan no jutsu!” said Hiakuma, though it was muffled by the water. Instead of its usual effect, it made a very strong current that ripped through the water around him. He saw more clouds of dust appear but realized they were from shadow clones and then saw the real Naruto. He focused the last part of the jutsu, and some water changed color, taking the form of a dragon before slamming into Naruto and jettisoning him out of the water and back onto the bridge.

 

“That was Zabuza's jutsu…” said Naruto as he got himself back up. “And that Kisame guy that hangs out with Itachi knows it too.” He looked up and moved just in time to dodge several ice-shuriken that Hiakuma flung at him.

 

“Grrr, Kage Bunshin No Jutsu!” said Naruto, making about 100 shadow clones.

Hiakuma just laughed and threw several more ice-shuriken, destroying about 19 shadow clones. “Attack!” said a clone the rest of the clones leaped toward Hiakuma, some being hit by more ice-shuriken.

 

“There's too many!” yelled Hiakuma as he struggled with using Taijutsu on the many ninja. They all crowded him and fell into the water below.

 

“Now for a new technique!” said Naruto. “Kage Bomu No Jutsu!” he said. Just then, all the clones on Hiakuma glowed yellow and suddenly blew up with great force. Water shot up and rained down all over.

 

“Why is it still raining?” said Naruto. The drops only got harder and began to turn to ice, pelting him harshly. “Ow! Ow, ow!” he said as he ran under a metal beam connecting the beams that held the bridge together.

 

Suddenly, Hiakuma burst from the water, covered in burns and breathing heavily. “Now, DIE!” he said demonically as ice shards hurtled toward Naruto at a quick pace.

 

“Ahhh!” yelled Naruto as three of the shards penetrated his skin, one in his left leg, on in his right arm, and one his left shoulder. He dodged many more before doing his shadow clone jutsu once more and getting time to tend to the wounds. He took each shard out and then Kyuubi scabbed them over.

 

“Ha ha! Your shadow clones didn't work this time! Better run before I kill you!” Hiakuma rode on a block of ice and flew through the air, it levitating the whole time. He chased Naruto and threw many shards at him, many coming very close to him.

 

Naruto suddenly came to a screeching halt and instead ran toward Hiakuma while dodging the shards. Hiakuma then laughed and began forming a sword of ice while speeding toward Naruto. Naruto then said “Kage Shuriken No Jutsu!” and threw a gigantic shuriken toward Hiakuma. Hiakuma flipped off the ice and landed back on it after dodging the shuriken while laughing and cut Naruto in two.

 

The fake Naruto blew up and Hiakuma gasped as the shuriken behind him turned into Naruto and threw a kunai into his upper right back. “AHHH!” yelled Hiakuma as he yanked the kunai out of his back and blood spew on the ground. His ice had melted away and he bounced off the ground, eventually coming to a screeching halt.

 

He didn't get up for a while, and by then Naruto was close to him. Naruto noticed something strange though. His wound had already started to heal. Just like Kyuubi did to himself. `Wow, maybe this guy does have one of the demons in him…' thought Naruto. He suddenly was tripped by a spin kick to his heel and was sent to the ground.

 

“Fool, you aren't the only demon boy around here! Why do you think I've been glowing the whole time? Now, I'll show you true power!” he said while doing a hand sign.

 

Naruto backed up a lot and got to his feet to turn around and see Hiakuma with a purple aura around him and his hands locked into a hand sign. “ONI FUBUKI NO JUTSU!” (Demon blizzard) he said as snow and ice began to whirl around him and purple chakra snaked out of his purple aura.

 

Suddenly, a freezing wind blasted into Naruto, and in it were ice shards and snowflakes. It tossed him everywhere and the shards cut him up in several places. In the midst of the storm, Hiakuma zoomed in front of Naruto and knee'd him in the chin. He then spun and elbowed Naruto in the rib, breaking it and making Naruto gasp and spit blood. Last, Hiakuma flipped, did several hand signs, and said “KOORI-SENPUU!” as he made something in his hand the way Naruto makes his Rasengan.

The glowing energy in Hiakuma's hand glowed blue and purple, and it spiraled just like Rasengan. He slammed it into Naruto and sent Naruto spiraling to the ground. The long jutsu finally ended, and the icy wind stopped as the shards melted or fell to the ground.

 

Naruto just stared at the sky, trying to ignore the icy-burning sensation on his demon seal. “I- I'm fine….Yeah…just…f-fine…right, K-Kyuubi?...” No answer. “Damn fox….” He said as his glow began to diminish and Hiakuma neared, bleeding and still burned from the fight.

 

“You put up a good fight, but now you'll die Fox-Bastard…” he said, forming an ice kunai and grabbing it with both hands. He then ran toward Naruto and raised the weapon with great force.

 

“Wait!” said Naruto at the last second. Surprisingly, Hiakuma stopped and stared at Naruto.

 

“What? Any last words then?” he asked impatiently.

 

“I just wanted to tell you that…well…”

 

“Well? What? Wanted to tell me what?”

 

“Um, well…”

“WELL WHAT?! OUT WITH IT!!!'

 

“Just wanted to tell you that your ex-girlfriend is about to kick your ass.”

 

“What?!” said Hiakuma as he turned around to see Yuki holding the same kind of technique that Hiakuma did, only lightning was also jolting from it.

 

“YAH!!” screamed Naruto as he kicked Hiakuma in the face, jumped up, grabbed him by the collar, and punched him square in the nose with a sickening *crack!* He then jumped and did a spin kick to Hiakuma's face, his orangish-red glow replenishing.

 

With Hiakuma dazed and awkwardly meandering between them, Naruto flipped next to Snow, and began doing advanced hand signs. He than spun his left hand around his right creating a whirlwind of chakra. “You know what?” said Yuki. This technique I'm doing is your surname mixed with another word!”

 

“Really? Well my band is named after the attack I'm doing!”

 

“Band?!”

 

“Yep! I made a band! Now, let's take this loser out while he's still confused!”

 

“Alright! Here goes, UZUMAKI NO IKAZUCHI!!” (thunder whirlpool)

 

“RASENGAN!!”

 

They put both hands together and charged toward the demonic ice creature Hiakuma suddenly changed into. It looked like an icy Kyubbi on two legs mixed with a werewolf with large ice shards up and down its spine. They continued to charge it and hit it square in the stomach, causing it to howl and making its eyes bulge. A large thunderclap could be heard and a bright light exploded from where they hit the creature.

 

As Naruto and Yuki recovered, they could see the thing spiraling in the distance with lightning bolting from it. As it spiraled, it changed back into the form of Hiakuma, eyes wide open, mouth agape, and in shock. His stomach was bleeding, and he lacked clothes from ripping them during his change in form. He blasted into the water and sent a wave of water into the air.

 

“Naruto….oh! I can't believe this!” said Snow.

 

“Don't worry, he must be dead now…..*coughs up blood*”

 

“Shit Naruto! Look at you! You need help now!! “

 

“No…I'm…I'm f- fine….”

 

“Nonsense! I'm carrying you to the village now!!!”

 

“No…I'm ok…re- really….” He faints and she catches him, holding him close.

 

“Oh Naruto!! Don't leave me!!” she says while flinging him over her shoulder and attempting to run, though it's more like a limp due to the weight.

 

 

*cut to new scene, the lake Hiakuma landed in*

 

In the distance, a purple snake with some of its tail cut off can be seen, slithering into the water toward where the demon boy landed. As it slithered, a man could be seen in the woods, his large glasses reflecting the pale sunlight. Hands glowed blue and he laughed before jumping into the water.
