"Why won't this clock die?! Damn it! What time is it? Iruka-sensei is gonna kill me!!" He screams as he jumps up trying to prepare for school in the 30 minutes he had left to the tardy bell rings. Being a freshman had no privileges at all. Naruto was the worst kind of freshman. He was below average in grades, tardy almost everyday, he slept in class, and he was labeled as the class clown. He was an all around slacker. Of course you have to know how his status was with the girls. He was a punk rocker that nobody wanted.

"Hey, Naru-koi! Can you hurry up?! Your gonna make us late again!" Kiba yelled at the window while running past.

"Yeah I'm coming!" Naruto said running down the stairs of his apartment building holding his pants in his hand, and a toothbrush in his mouth."Man, why didn't you call me to wake me up, and stop calling me koi!!

"I did you baka," Kiba yelled at him," You didn't answer the phone!! Dude we have got to put on some speed if we wanna get there on time. First, put on your pant!" Kiba rushed off leaving a for sure late Naruto.

Naruto rushed down the halls only to be caught by the principal."Uzumaki, in my office now!" She said softly. "Naruto sit down for a second." She looked at him intently until finally she spoke. "Naruto, Nii-chan." She began," I know how you love to bet with me. I have a very good deal for you. We are having a new-" Before she could finish he quickly denied her offer with a shake of his head and a waver of his hand."I thought you might say that." She said smiling," Look at me Naruto, you have 11 tardies already this one resulting in 12. If you refuse my offer I will make you serve them all in one day." To her surprise he still had a look of naught on his face." Well then if that doesn't work then you AND all of your group will be kicked out of the school talent contest!!"

"Grandma you can't do that!!" Naruto jumps up and stands in the chair he was sitting in."Tsunade baa-chan your not being fair!! You can't kick us out of the contest because you don't wanna put up with one of your little snotty punks you tricked into coming here!!"

"Well the dealer holds the better hand you can either raise the stakes or fold" She said knowing that he had given up." His name is Uchiha Sasuke. Naruto put on one of your goofy smiles and go out there, and only IF he likes you I won't disqualify you." She whispered in his ear while pushing him to said person.

"Sasuke, this is Naruto. He is going to be your guide around the school. He will go to all of your classes with you." Naruto looked at her with a very surprised face. She was giving him a day off.
"I hope you two will be good friends." She bent down giving everyone a very good look see of her overly large breasts." Naruto I know that you were in a slump, so use this time to work on your song to woo Sakura."(i hate her)

They left the office to explore the school. 'Man he's hot for a guy. Kiba might dump Shino for him. He looks more feminine than Shino so I don't think so, but if I liked guys enough I'd try.'

"Is there something you like on my butt?" Said a very irritated Sasuke who apparently saw him eye raping him. "Hey,dobe, try looking at my face."

"Sorry dude, I was just thinking that my friend would like you." Naruto said with the dorkiest smile. They walked up to his first class which happen to be the same as Narutos.


"Hello I am Iruka. Class we have a new student. His name is Sasuke Uchiha." That is when all the girls banded together and made a Sasuke Uchiha fan club."Naruto do you have a tardy slip?"

"Actually Iruka-sensei I'm suppose to show him to all of his classes. So, she didn't give me one." was said in return with a false smile.

"Sasuke-kun why don't you sit by me!" Ino shouted but soon to be drowned out by Sakura.
"No, Sasuke -kun sit by me!" She said pointing to the seat next to her.

"B-B-but Sakura-chan thats my seat." Naruto stuttered as she gave him the death glare of his life.

"Now,now students I would like Mr. Uchiha to sit next to.....ummmmm. Gaara is there a seat next
to you?" No response." Well Mr. Uchiha will you sit next to Mr. Lee?" There was a sound like someone falling from a seat.

"There IS a seat next to me!!" Gaara practically yelled. So Sasuke walked to the back to sit next to the red head. The class was rather boring with all of the fan girls and Naruto trying to figure out why Sakura had just acted like he didn't exist.

"Hey you, Sasuke your next class is an advanced Math. Hey, I never even heard of that class, so I sure as hell don't know where it is. So I guess your stuck with me and my bad habit of skipping."

"Why should I skip with you when I just met you a few hours ago?" He ask in a very snobby way.

"Well you could stay here and get raped by all of your new fan girls. Dude it doesn't matter to me either way cause I'm leaving with or without." He started to walk away and Sasuke followed.

"Naruto, can you hurry up?! Are you late for everything?" A very irritated Kiba yelled as he headed out the door. Naruto and Sasuke ran to catch up with him.

"No dude I cum right on time. Hey this is Sasuke he new and that old bat told me to give a tour so he gonna hang out with us for today. Hey something is wrong with Sakura she was ignoring me today." Naruto said noticing that Kiba was ogolling Sasuke (who didn't notice at all.).

"She probably saw him and forgot that she promised to give you a chance. Shikamaru is gonna be mad cuz were late. Did you get started on the song?" Kiba said opening a cellar door to an abandon school.

"Where the hell have you two been I was just about to go to sleep!" An overly-rested Shikamaru said while playing classical musical music on the piano." Who the hell is that? Don't tell Naruto is on that team too?" He said with a melancholy smile.

"Naw, dude its not like that, he is a new student and I'm in charge of him seeing all of school. Including the cellar of the one you burned down."

Everyone except Sasuke laughed because Shikamaru had fell asleep while warming chemicals in Orochimaru-sensei science class which burned down the lab part of the school.

"So, Naruto are you sure we should practice in front of this guy I mean he looks alittle weird." Kiba pointed out.

"Dude, Gaara is one of our piano players. That is about as weird as they come." Naruto said pointing at the redhead in the corner molesting his boyfriend." Look lets just practice okay?"

"Do you have the song that we have to preform? You know that it is in two days? You HAVE the song, right?" Gaara asked knowing that Naruto is the most un responsible person in the world.

"Look I'll have it done tomorrow! I promise!" He assured like he did last month.

"To hell with it Naruto we will just do 'Cause I got high' like last time" Kiba snorted.

"No, I'll have it." So they just practiced like normal, but not without hearing some more of Kiba and his nagging. Gaara stopped sometimes to go and do whatever he and Rock Lee do in the bathroom. Sasuke watched as they played all of the songs that came to mind. He watched as Naruto started to sweat because of the lights. He also so saw that when Naruto took off his shirt, because he was hot, how the sweat ran down his toned and tan body. He saw how his birthmark that covered his stomach glistened the light. He thought he had just fallen in LUST with the boy.

"Dude it's time for us to go. I can't believe we skipped the whole day! Well I'll have the song tomorrow! Bye!" Naruto yelled as everyone was leaving. "Oh sorry about that Sasuke. We get carried away sometimes." He said with a weird smile because Sasuke was looking at him funny.

"Hey, dobe, come get something to eat with me." he said cooly and walked out.

"Hey I need to get to writing that song, so" But was interrupted.

"I can help you write. Just come out with me. I have some thing to ask you."





"Naruto, you like the pink haired girl? Why, what makes you like her so?" Sasuke asked as he paid for their burgers.

"Well in 6th grade I had a mad crush on her. I don't know why I just do. I asked her out last month and she finally said yes. I was so happy. Today, though she seemed like she never even noticed I was there. Well it will different tomorrow I know! She was just excited because we had a new student. I'll introduce you two tomorrow. Thanks for the food, but I have to go so see you tomorrow!" Naruto got up and left. He had hurt his own feelings. Why had Sakura treated him like that all of a sudden? That Sasuke guy, all she did during class was stare at him. Whats wrong with her? "I should have asked him could he help me with a song. I know I'll make a song for Sakura! Then she'll forgive me for whatever I did wrong! Yeah!" Naruto walked to his apartment in silence. Thinking on what to write. "Thats it! She'll love me!" He started to write. He got up to get the phone.

"What the hell do you think your calling my phone at this time of night! Who the fuck is this?" Kiba screamed answering his cell phone.

"Shut up, baka. I need you to call Shikamaru and Gaara to go to the practice place. I forgot to tell you last week that we have to qualify for the contest and we have to do that tomorrow." Naruto said trying to hold in a giggle.

"Ya' know sometimes I think your real dumb. I'll call Shikamaru, but you call Gaara." Kiba yawned into the phone.

"Shikamaru is probably on the phone with Temari just tell him, to tell her, to tell him (???)." He stopped. "Yeah, that's right, hurry up and come on! Oh, and tell Gaara to bring his guitar and Shikamaru his keyboard. Kay?! Hurry!" With that he hung up and met at the place where they practice until about 1.
