Naruto was at his apartment before he knew it. Naruto grabbed his pack and started packing. He only packed a cooking pot, some ramen, some weapons and a couple of scrolls.

 

Um Kit? Naruto stopped what he was doing. Yes? ….Where do you plan on going? Away from here. Nobody cares about me. Kyuubi said nothing. If your planning on leaving you should go now.

 

Naruto wiped off his tears and left, but not before leaving a note.

 

 

Naruto was leaping across the roof tops at an incredible speed. He was sure it even surpassed Lee's. Getting past the guards was easy, especially with his new stealth and speed.

 

Once Naruto was a good ways in the forest Kyuubi stopped him. Kit stop. Huh? Why? You need to get used to your new senses. I want you to close your eyes and listen. Naruto did as was told and was amazed at all the animals he could hear all around him.

 

I will be teaching you new jutsu's to help you survive. Naruto wagged his tail and starting shouting about new jutsu's. Kyuubi merely laughed.

 

Naruto suddenly tensed up and a low growl escaped his throat. What is it Kit? “Kyuubi asked but already knew what it was.” I smell raccoon, blood, and….sand? It's the Shukaku brat. Garaa! What's he doing here!? Not sure but his chakra seems a little strange and similar to yours. Kit you should go check it out.

 

Naruto started walking towards the smell on all fours. (I gotta make him fox like) Naruto found Garaa right away. He was near a stream. Naruto saw Garaa tense and knew he caught. Before he could do anything a huge wave of sand was by his side.

 

He dodged it and landed in front of Garaa. Stop! Its me Naruto! Garaa was seconds away from crushing him when he heard the word Naruto. And indeed it was Naruto, only with fox features.

 

The two boys stared at each other taking in the sight. Garaa had also changed. He had pawed feet, claw like hands, raccoon ears and a tail. (Similar to Naruto) and he was gourd less.

 

Garaa did not know what to do. To say he was shocked was and understatement. Suddenly Naruto burst out laughing. HAHAHA! Garaa you look so funny! HAHAHA! Garaa, Kyuubi, and Shukaku had a huge sweatdrop. Garaa let out a low growl. You don't look any better. Garaa retorted. Naruto stopped laughing and rubbed the back of his head. Heh guess your right. The sweatdrop got bigger.

 

There was silence once more when Kyuubi started to speak. Kit, me and Shukaku were talking and decided that you two should travel together. Err…ok. Shukaku is telling Garaa right now as well. We will also give you the power of telepathy. Ano sa! Ano sa! What's telepathy? Seriously Kit do you know nothing? Hey! Anyway's telepathy will allow all four of us to talk with each through our minds. Hmm ok!

 

Garaa started to speak. Did your demon just tell you about their plan? Naruto nodded. How do you feel about this? I'm fine with it! Garaa stared at Naruto with intense eyes. Very well. Kit, you and the sand brat should go hunt for some food now. Hunt? Yes hunt.

Naruto merely groaned and walked off with Garaa.

 

 

Back in Konoha

 

Iruka was knocking on Naruto's door wanting to invite him out to ramen. Naruto! You in there! No answer. Iruka pushed open the door. Naruto needs to learn to lock his door. Iruka started to look around and noticed that some stuff was missing. He hoped that no one had stolen anything. Iruka, deciding Naruto wasn't here started to leave when he noticed the note.

 

Iruka's eyes went wide when he read the letter. I must tell the Hokage!

 

 

In the forest

 

The two boys were eating lunch. Both were eating rabbits. It wasn't cooked that much but they had to admit it was good. Naruto had just finished his story on how he came here. Garaa was surprised his precious people abandoned him.

 

So your friends abandoned you? Naruto lowered his eyes. Yes.

 

So Garaa how about you? This tie Garaa lowered his eyes.

 

(Flashback)

 

Garaa was just walking the street minding his own business. Everyone got out of his way in fear of getting killed.

 

A sudden pain hit him in the head. It was very strange since it wasn't normal that he got this much. Shukaku had been very quite as well which was very suspicious.

 

Garaa continued to walk again when hi head hurt again, this time worse. Oi brat! What is the meaning of this Shukaku?! Hehe. Just be prepared for some intense pain. We're about to merge. Before Garaa could question him he fell on his knees in pain. His sister and brother were there as well and bent down next to him. The towns people however got really scared.

 

Garaa had never felt this kind of pain except when he had fought Uzumiki Naruto. Everyone watched in horror as he grew pawed feet, claws, ears, and a tail. He stood up panting. Kankuro and Temeri were shocked and very nervous.

 

Suddenly someone shouted, “Look! The demon finally shows his true self!” Others continued with insults. It didn't help either that the Kazekage was there. (Their father)

 

Well look at we have here. The Kazekage sneered. Garaa gave him a death glare. It looks like you're a true demon, and you know what we do to demons. The crowd started to shout “Throw him out!” The Kazekage snapped his fingers and 20 jounins appeared. Garaa got into a defensive position. Which meant he was on all fours growling and showing off his new fangs. (Hey he's part animal/demon now) His siblings tried to protect him but their father said if they help him they commit treason and will be killed.

 

Garaa was beyond pissed but didn't attack. Instead he said, “Fine, I'll leave this village. Just don't hurt them.” He turned to them and said don't follow I'll be alright. Their father smiled and snapped his fingers once again. All 20 jounins attacked. Garaa did the only thing he could do. Run. He didn't have his gourd either since he had such a bad headache he didn't want to carry something so heavy.

 

(End flashback)

 

Naruto was pretty shocked. Your own father threw you out?! Yes. He could hear both Kyuubi and Shukaku growling due to the telepathy. They could now talk to each other freely. There was silence a bit more. Naruto finally asked the question. So where to next? Well I was actually planning on coming to Konoha to… see you. Eh? Well we are the same and was hoping I could be accepted here. I see.

 

Any where else you would like to go to? Garaa thought for a minute before replying. The ocean.

 

 

Back in Konoha

 

Tsunda was in shock when she read the letter.

 

Dear Tsunda-baa-chan, Iruka-sensei, and Ero-sennin

You were the only ones who cared for me. I can't stand this place anymore. I was betrayed by the people I thought were my friends. I might or might not come back. So see ya later.

 

P.S Don't put me on the missing-nin list. I don't want hunter-nins on my ass 24/7.

 

I can't believe it. My little brother is gone. Tsunda deeply cared for the brat. What are we gonna do Hokage-sama? Go get all the rookie teams, all the sensei's and Jiraiya. Hai Hokage-sama.

 

Tsunade sighed as Iruka left. Naruto, why did you leave?

 

 

The two boys were cheerfully on their way to Wave country. Or at least Naruto was. He was having so much fun playing around in his new fox like body. Running all over the place on all fours. No wonder Kiba does this. Its fun! Garaa was just interested. He too walked on all fours in wonder.

 

It was so easy and relaxing. He suddenly sensed movement. Naruto was coming right at him in full speed. Not knowing what was happening he started searching for an enemy until BOOM! He was tackled to the ground. What are you doing! Garaa growled. Lets have some fun! No. Huh? I said no. Ahhh! Why not? Because being tackled is not fun. But we're part animal/demon now. So? Naruto pouted and sat on Garaa's chest. Get off of us you brat! Shukaku was shouting. Kyuubi was just laughing his ass off.

 

A sudden wave of sand flung Naruto off of Garaa. Naruto stuck his tongue out while Garaa rolled his eyes.

 

They continued to walk in silence although they both tripped a few times since their tails were long and got in their way. Garaa finally broke the silence. We might have problems entering wave country. Eh? Why? Oh I don't know maybe we just look like demons! Naruto rubbed the back of his neck.

 

Don't worry. I know some people who will let us stay at their house. Who? Just some old friends.

 

 

Back in Konoha

 

I front of Tsunda was all the rookies and their sensei's (including Shikamaru) and Jiraiya.

 

I am here to talk to you about your knew mission. Um excuse me Hokage-sama. Yes Kakashi? Well Naruto isn't here and I can't find him. Tsunda gave Kakashi a look before saying, “This mission is about Naruto.”

 

Hmm? Yes. He has run away. There was a loud gasp. Unknown to any (since they didn't look) Susuke had a pissed off expression but it had a little guilt on it. Sakura ownly had a smug look on her face.

 

The genin started to question her. Why did Naruto run away!? Tsunade sighed and showed them the letter before reading it. Once she was done she started to question them. Now we need to know who betrayed Naruto.

 

Everyone looked at Susuke and Sakura. Susuke frowned. Don't blame this on me. I didn't tell the dobe to leave. Sakura started to speak as well. Hokage-sama do you really think its wise to look for him? Of course! However it wasn't Tsunda who answered it was Hinata. When everyone turned to her she blushed.

 

Hinata is right. The others replied. Tsunda grew suspicious. Why do you say that Sakura? Susuke was the one who answered. Today something happened. Everyone threw their attention at him. Kakashi grew serious. What happened Susuke? But before he could answer Tsunda said another question. How did you get that wound on your shoulder?

 

This time Sakura answered. Naruto did it. Were they sparing? Well you see Naruto was picking a fight with Susuke-kun. Eh? But Naruto wasn't feeling good. Kakashi put in. Her face grew dark but continued.

 

Well they were throwing punches at each other but Naruto suddenly collapsed from the pain. Susuke-kun attacked him but Naruto slashed his arm.

 

Slashed? Slashed with what? Her face grew dark once more. That demon slashed him with a claw. The adults grew both serious and nervous. Tsunade gave her a long hard look while the genins yelled at her for calling him a demon.

 

Enough! Tell us what happened. Hai Tsunda-sama. Well, after Naruto fell to his knees, (Susuke smirked at this) a red glow surrounded him. Neji's ears perked up. He was also interested in the red chakra. Sakura continued.

 

Well he started to grow claws, paws, fangs and a tail. This time Kakashi spoke. When did this happen? Right after you left. I…I see.

 

And then what? “Tsunade pressed.” He ran away. There was silence. Finally a voice spoke up.

 

He just ran away? No arguments? Or are you hiding something? They all turned to Neji as he spoke. Umm…well you see “Sakura started but was cut off by Susuke.” We did something horrible. Kakashi grew worried, as did everyone else. We panicked and called him a demon. That's all really.

 

Tsunade was absolutely furious. Why? Because he hurt Susuke-kun. They turned to Sakura with disgust. And, Susuke continued, he turned into a fox.

Tsunade sighed once more. Jiraiya stepped up. Tsunda we need to tell everyone about Naruto's past. You're right. As she told the story of Kyuubi all Hinata thought about was Naruto-kun.

 

 

Edge of wave country

 

Naruto and Garaa were at the edge of the forest. Now how do we get in? Naruto wondered. Damn! Too bad we can't use Henge. Ealier the two demons told them that must stay in that form at all times in order for their chakra to function and their knew bodies become stable. In about a week they will be able to use henge.

 

Naruto? Ya Garaa? Our best chance is to find some cloaks then buy some clothes. Do you have any money? I was driven out. I couldn't pack. Well we could just borrow some from Tazuna-san and Tsunami-san. Garaa nodded. Our best chance is the alleys and dumpsters for a cloak. Alright! With that they leaped off.

 

 

Tsunade had just finished explaining about Naruto's past. Each of the rookies had a new sense of respect toward Naruto. All except Susuke and Sakura. How could that weak dobe have such a powerful demon inside him! No wonder he was so strong! Sakura was just disgusted that a demon hurt her precious Susuke-kun.

 

Now that that's settle I will arrange a teams to go after Naruto. There will be two teams. Team 1 consists of Neji, Susuke, Lee, Hinata, Kakashi, Jiraiya, and Shikamaru. Ne how troublesome.

 

Team 2- Tenten, Ino, Chouji, Kiba, Shino, Kurenai, and Asuma. Kakashi I want you to go to Naruto's apartment and floow his scent. Team 2 go the opposite way. If Kyuubi is behind this then he could be anywhere. He could even falseify (I dunno??) his scent.

 

Now Sakura and Gai. You two are very important. You are to contact the foreign countries. Sakura your very smart and I trust you. Gai you have the speed. Now go!

 

 

Naruto's apartment.

 

Everyone arrived at the apartment. Kakashi drew some blood and started to perform some hand signals. Summoning-no-jutsu! What do you want Kakashi. Beside him stood a small dog. Pakun I need you to find Naruto's scent. He may smell like fox now as well. Fine. Everyone waited patiently which wasn't a long wait. I got it Kakashi. It's new but very strange. This scent is quit demonic. That's it Kakashi replied happily. Now team 2 go the opposite direction. Jiraiya instructed. Hai!

 

 

In the forest

So many question went through Neji's mind right now. When Naruto told Neji he knew about real pain he wasn't lying. I just wish I knew sooner.

 

Oi Kakashi! What is it Pakun? There's a new scent. What? Yea. It's a mixture of sand and blood. The rookies eyes grew wide. Garaa! Isn't he that Shukaku kid? Jiriya asked. Hes a monster. Susuke hissed. Lee was a little nervous since the last time he fought him he almost lost the chance to become a ninja.

 

How troublesome. Na..Naruto-kun Its possible they joined together. No way. Susuke countered. That guy is dangerous. Even Naruto is that dumb to join him. Well we'll see. Which way now Pakun? That way. He pointed a paw. That's toward wave country.

 

He's probably visiting Tazuna. Pakun go back to Tsunade-sama and tell her whats going on. We've got it now. Pakun gave a nod and ran off. Jiraiya started to question Kakashi.

Do you think the Akatsuki will find out about this? He whispered. Im not sure. Lets just hope not.

 

 

Wave Country

 

Finding Cloaks wasn't hard since this place used to be so poor. The only problem was that it showed a little of their feet.

 

Ne Garaa? Yes? Do you think we should travel all the countries? Why? Well, we could learn all kinds of new jutsus and become really powerful.

 

Garaa just stared. Naruto…”he started.“ Look at us. Although we may look different our chakra has increased and our speed is unimaginable. It only took us 3 hours to get here when it should take two days.

 

Hehe I suppose your right Garaa, but learning new jutsus is so much fun! Naruto practically shout for everyone in wave country to hear. Damn does he have to be so loud, “Shukaku muttered.” Kyuubi merely laughed and said yes.

 

Naruto it is best if you take us to this Tazuna's house. Eh? Oh ya! Come on! Garaa sighed and followed. How can this cheerful idiot have a demon inside him? Garaa wondered. Hey! I am not an idiot!

 

(10 min later)

 

Naruto couldn't believe this the house. It was huge! It wasn't mansiony (is that a word?) big but it was still big. Don't worry kit if you remember their smell than you'll know for sure. Heh well I don't… Ok…Well just knock. Fixing his hood just in case his ears were showing Naruto knocked.

 

Kncok* Knock* Naruto-nii-san! Inari! Garaa just got out of the way while the two boys collided. Eh Naruto!? Ya? What are doing here? Not that I'm not glad to see you. Oh…Heh, well I'm on vacation. Garaa sweatdropped. Vacation? What!?

 

Hey Inari what's all the fuss? Tsunami just stuck her head out the door. Oh Naruto! It's so good to see you! What are we? Chopped liver? Shukaku muttered. Naruto took the hint. Oh sorry! This is my friend Garaa. Tsunami looked over. Its nice to meet you Garaa-san. Garaa nodded and said, “Please don't add san in my name.” Err…ok? Tsunami was a little confused but didn't ask.

 

Well come in! Hai. Tazuna! What is it Tsunam!? We have guests! Tazuna came in the room. Naruto! Its good to see you! Why do these people like you so much? Oh well I saved them from some bandits so they could complete the bridge. Hn.

 

Tazuna started to talk. Naruto and…? Garaa. Ah Well why don't you take off those cloaks and sit down. Err…we have a cold Tazuna-san! A cold? Tsunami got frantic. Stay here I'm gonna get you some tea and some hot blankets!

 

A cold? Naruto-nii-san will you be ok? Of course! Garaa felt himself getting a sweatdrop at whatever Naruto say's.

 

Tazuna frowned. Naruto. He knows dumass. Shutup Shukaku! The two continued to fight until Tazuna started to talk again. Naruto you don't need to lie. H..hai. He nodded at Garaa.

 

They both took off their cloaks. Inari quickly touched his tail. Is it real? Huh? Oh ya! Of course! He then went over to Garaa, who was a little hesitant but let him touch his tail.

 

There was a sudden shout. Kawaii! Wha? Naruto and Garaa felt themselves being slammed together. Tsunami was giving them both a monster hug. Garaa had no idea what was going on. Naruto started to laugh at Garaa's face since it was so comical looking when he was confused.

 

I think you should tell us how this happened. Hai Tazuna-san. Tsunami really didn't want to let go and Garaa was still confused. This is so familiar but so foreign. …Yashamaru.

 

(15 min later)

 

Naruto had just finished telling them about how they ended up here. Tsunami said they could stay here but they needed to get some new clothes. Both boys agreed but were a little nervous about how the villagers would react.

 

Tazuna and Inari assured them that since they remember how Naruto saved them they wouldn't care. Naruto calmed down but Garaa was still nervous about all this.

 

He still couldn't stop wondering what Tsunami had done to him.

The next day was nice and sunny. Naruto and Garaa were walking around town getting curious but not hateful looks. It felt like heaven to them, especially since all they got were hateful looks.

 

They were alone today since Tazuna needed to work, Inari was at school, and Tsunami was busy. They were given a small bag full of gold. It was still a lot of money and were reluctant to be given it. Tazuna said that they had become quit wealthy because of the bridge and said it was ok.

 

Right now they needed to buy some equipment. Garaa said they should leave in one week so they don't cause any problems. Naruto didn't want to but when Garaa pointed out someone might be looking for him, regardless of the note. Naruto agreed reluctantly.

 

Hey Garaa there's a clothing store right there! Naruto grabbed Garaa's arm and started to drag him across the street. Inside they were greeted with some stares but Naruto only smiled at them.

 

I still don't understand why he smiles at everyone. He's just weird. Perhaps. Shukaku what was that thing Tsunami gave me yesterday? It was called a hug. A hug? Ill ask Naruto about it later.

 

Naruto was heading for the orange clothes but Garaa grabbed his arm. No orange. It will tell unwanted enemies where we are. Naruto pouted. Get something with lots of pockets. We shouldn't carry bags anymore, besides we can hunt and eat raw meat.

Naruto stuck out his tongue and wandered off. Garaa waved his tail in annoyance before looking at some shirts.

 

A good hour later Naruto now wore black pants with many pockets and a black shirt with a red undershirt. He no longer needed shoes so he got none.

 

Garaa wore the same pants and a black shirt. He too wore no shoes.

 

They had stopped by a weapons store and bought smoke bombs, kunai, shuriken, weights, and Naruto also bought a small curved dagger for himself.

 

They were at a meadow that Inari told them about so they could train. Ok brats stop. What do you guys want? Kyuubi and I are gonna train you two. Naruto started to shout in happiness. Ok kit settle down. I'm gonna teach you some fire moves. According to your memory you wanted to learn these moves to beat the Uchiha boy. I can now wipe that smirk off that bastards face. (Evil laugh) Shukaku started to talk. Now that the seals are off you two… Wait! Garaa had a seal? Yes, it was on my chest. Garaa explained without emotion.

 

Now as I was saying you both have more control over your chakra. According to Kyuubi you didn't have much control. Naruto muttered under his breath while Garaa smirked.

 

What do you want us to do? Kit I will teach you on one side of this meadow while Garaa goes to the other side. Ok!

 

 

(Naruto's side)

 

Ok Kit I want you to make some shadow clones. Naruto nodded while making hand signs. Kage bunshin no jutsu! Five Naruto's appeared and went in front of him. I will now show you some hand seals. Just close your eyes and you will see an image. Naruto did as he was told and sure enough saw a set of hand seals. This is called katon housenka [mythical fire flower.] That's the move Susuke used on Kakashi when we first met. Another thing Kit. If you use more chakra it will not only be stronger but bigger. It will come in handy when facing enemies. Make sure it won't cause a forest fire right now.

 

Naruto did the new handseal, took a deep breath and blew out fire at his clones. It was a little stronger than Kyuubi wanted but it was fine. Next up is Katon Goukakyuu no jutsu [grand fireball] Hai!

 

(Garaa's side)

 

Ok kid you need to know taijutsu. Garaa agreed since h knew how horrible he was. Close your eyes. I'm going to transfer my knowledge of taijutsu. Afterwards I want you to make sand clones and fight against them. Garaa didn't like following orders but complied.

 

(Naruto's side)

 

Kyuubi couldn't believe this. If it wasn't for that damn seal that clogged his chakra he would have the strength of a jounin. But now with Kyuubi's power he could become unbeatable…at least later on in the future.

 

Naruto had already learned the katon karyuu endan [dragon fire skill], the katon ryuuka no jutsu [fire dragon flame blast] and kwarimi. Naruto had a knack for learning jutsus. Kyuubi noticed that Naruto still had poor chakra control (though not as bad) and had him make a fire on his hand and keep it steady.

 

Naruto was doing fine with minor problems. He became really excited when he could now summon a fire on his hand and fingers. Kit your such a pyro. You could get hurt. Naruto only laughed.

 

(Garaa's side)

 

Like Naruto, Garaa was having an easy time mastering his new moves. He still wasn't great at Taijutsu but he would get better later. Garaa also made a absolute offense: Tsunami of Shukaku. (Couldn't think of another name XP)

 

Garaa stopped practicing when he felt his ears twitch. He smelled the air and knew someone was watching them. Keep practicing kid. Don't let them know you know. Kyuubi is telling Naruto as well. Garaa nodded and continued.

 

(Edge of forest)

 

A pair of red eyes were staring at the two demon boys a little away. He hid his chakra signal when he noticed they tensed.

 

Itachi what should we do? Itachi looked at his partner Kisame. We capture them. Their new demonic traits interests me, besides we must control their demons. Kisame chuckled evilly while Itachi started to get ready for the upcoming fight.
