“Ryu, Ryu, wake-up Ryu…,”said the far off voice. Ryu thought he might be dead, but it didn't feel like it.

Slowly he opened his eyes. “Ryu you dunce you're finally awake,” said Haoku in an angrily.

“Haoku…what happened? I was in my house and you were there and, YOU,” he said pointing to Itachi who had just entered the room, "you're the reason I'm here aren't you!”

“It's not just my fault brat, it's your friend Haoku's as well,” said Itachi, making a great point.

“He's right and I should kill both of you…if my whole body wasn't in pain,” he said standing up slowly.

“Whoa, Ryu even you can't recover from the technique Itachi used on you that fast,” she said catching him as he started to fall down.

“Ryu I'll help you to our little tower where we shall conduct initiation for you will soon become the new member of the Akatsuki,” she said sort of chocking on her words.

“An initiation, for…what, I don't want to join your rag tag team of fugitives!”

“I'm afraid you have no choice in the matter,” Itachi said chuckling to himself.

“Oh well, I guess it won't hurt to at least see what this initiation thing is about,” he said trying to reassure himself.

“That's the spirit Ryu!” said Haoku joyfully.

They walked together to where the initiation was taking place, but there laid a special surprise inside for Ryu.

When they entered it felt as if the place was dead, the reason being there seemed to be no one there.

“SURPRISE!” yelled all the other members of the Akatsuki, besides Itachi and Haoku.

“Happy late Birthday Ryu!” said Haoku with glee.

“You did this? But why Haoku?” asked Ryu.

“Well it felt like the right thing to do since we took you away from your home without even an ok or consent from you, even Itachi helped a little,” said Haoku.

“That seems ok as long as I don't have to do anything weird,” he said with a smirk on his face.

They walked around a little and Ryu got to meet all of the Akatsuki except for one, Kisame, who Ryu thought probably went out for a stroll when all of a sudden…

“Little brats I'll show you a thing or two about messing with the Akatsuki,” said Kisame from outside.

“Oh yeah well we'll show you a thing or two about stopping us on our search,” said a mystery girl.

Everybody ran outside, except Ryu who hobbled out there with Haoku at his side.

Outside three girls were in a triangle formation surrounding the one called Kisame, and although it looked like the girls were winning they were just as badly, or even more badly hurt, than Kisame was.

“I…I will not lose to you three,” said Kisame almost breathless.

“We'll never give up to the likes of you,” said a girl Ryu noticed right off the bat, it was his girlfriend Hamani.

“Exactly we won't stop till you tell us where Ryu is you creep,” this time it was his best friend Yuki. But when the last girl spoke it was like a ray of light had shone down on him.

“You big creep you tell us where…Ryu there you are brother,” said the one and only, his sister, Serina Hyuga.

When all of a sudden, with an incredible burst of speed, Kisame took out Yuki and Hamani at the same time with 2 mighty swings of his fishy arms/fists.

Hamani went rolling across the ground and stopped when she hit a big rock, while Yuki rolled in the other direction and stopped when she hit a tree knocking the wind out of her.

The last two standing was Serina and Kisame. They were face to face and both were giving an inch.

Ryu could only hope Kisame would stop before he killed her. Unfortunately it went nothing like that. First he created an unseen water clone, and hit her into the real bodies' arms.

Slowly he raised his sword to her neck and said with a chuckle, "Nighty, night sweet heart, enjoy your last few moments while they last, ha, ha, ha!”

“RYU!” she screamed in terror.

“That girl is as good as dead" Haoku whispered sorrowfully

“Over my dead body Haoku, I'm going to save her!” yelled Ryu starting to run towards Kisame and pulling out a pair of knuckle knifes.

“What the?” said Kisame as Ryu's knuckle knifes collided with his sword, stopping his strike, that could have been deadly.

Ryu's leg muscles popped and he fell to the ground, he was now on his knees. “Se…Serina…get away with the girls and don't come back or these guys will kill you!”

“I won't leave you Ryu; I've come too far now to just let you slip out of my grasp,” she said as she picked him up, and then they stood back to back. Then all of a sudden their necklaces that stood for Ying and Yang, came together and glowed thus their Ying-Yang combination unfolded
