Chapter 2

Saying that this was the worst day of his life was an overstatement. This wasn’t the first or last time Naruto would be causing trouble. Suspension for throwing stink-bombs in the teachers’ private bathroom, installing gay porn as the homepage on every computer in the school, fist-fighting with Uchiha Sasuke on school grounds, auctioning Inuzuka Kiba as a prostitute online, getting his first tattoo when he was only 12 years old, and the list goes on, and on, and on

Iruka paced back and forth in front of the teen, mimicking a caged, angry tiger perfectly. Naruto clutched the sides of his face, his elbows resting against the top of his thighs, and blew out a sigh.

“I don’t even want to hear anything.” Iruka growled as Naruto began to open his mouth. Naruto promptly shut it back, and looked up at the adult who had stopped pacing.

“Do you even know what could’ve happened? I have to take responsibility for you while your father is away! Do you even think about the consequences?” The older male was obviously furious with the teen. He poked the blonde boy’s forehead, earning him a pained groan. “Do you ever think? Naruto, you can’t keep doing this!”

“Shh, Iruka-sensei. Your voice makes my head throb.” Naruto whined.

“And you’re a minor! Drinking at a party, which I specifically told you, that you couldn’t go to.” Iruka continued, ignoring Naruto’s complaint.

Naruto rubbed his eyes and sighed for the umpteenth time that morning. He looked up, only to find the man pacing again. Iruka was a close family friend, an uncle, almost like another father. Naruto’s father had been away on a business trip and had left Naruto under Iruka’s care. And although the man was not related by blood, he was certainly close to Naruto and earned the rights of being called family. When Naruto was young, his mother had died, and was left with only his father and Iruka. Naruto was very close to the male role models in his life, and yet his actions said other things…

“And when your father comes home--!” The man started, cutting off the younger boy as he started to open his mouth again.

“I’m home!” The loud proclamation from the front door boomed through the house, causing the two males to slightly jump, and Naruto to clutch his head and whined softly.

Iruka shook his head.

“Fucking cops!”

Neji cursed loudly and Shikamaru quickly and frantically jumped off the boy’s lap. Now was not the time to panic.
Not the time to panic…

“What the fuck, what the fuck!” Shikamaru gritted through his teeth, grabbing his cell phone and punching in Naruto’s number. He was panicking.

“Fuck!” Neji grunted and started the engine, speeding towards the beach parking lot.
‘Not good… not good…’

Naruto felt the faint vibration against the side of his thigh, his hands still gently gripping Sakura’s wrists from going any lower. She was his friend, one of his close female friends. And although he had a crush on her when they were younger, he was pretty sure seeing her naked in her drunken stupor would have some sort affect on his body.

“Naruto, you need to let go of my hand so I can pull my--" the pink-haired girl started, swaying slightly, only to be cut off as Naruto held up his other hand.

“Wait. I need to take this call first.” Naruto stated, voice slightly garbled, his hands still preventing her from going further, and also causing the crowd to groan in disapproval. “Hello?”
“Naruto!” Shikamaru’s voice was obviously alarming.
“Where the fuck are--"
“Cops! There are cops! You need to get your ass back here!”

Naruto’s drunken stupor suddenly evaporated. Not entirely. He was still pretty plastered.

“Shit! Cops! Popos!” Naruto hollered.
The music stopped. The moving bodies stopped. The chatter stopped. The silence was completely deafening…
Then hell broke loose. Teens screamed in fear and excitement, rushing for an escape route as the mention of law enforcements came to their ears.

Naruto felt the buzzing again and brought the mobile phone to his ears.
“I know! The cops! I’m go--”
“Where in Kami’s name are you, Naruto?” Iruka’s voice rang loudly and clearly in the teen’s ear, and his eyes widened as more panic filled his system.
“A-aah.. You have the wrong number!”
“Nar-- !"
Naruto hung up and grabbed Kiba, who was now lying on the sandy ground, almost half unconscious. His head searched for the others, noticing that Hinata had taken action and was now leading her two drunken friends back to the car. Sasuke. Naruto lifted Kiba’s right arm over his shoulders and staggered towards the parking lot. Kiba’s weight had become lighter and Naruto looked over to his left, finding Sasuke under Kiba’s arm too.
“You guys are complete and utter idiots.” He sighed.
“He said udder.” Kiba giggled then groaned. He was wavering between unconsciousness and consciousness.
The boys could hear the faint sirens and screeching of tires against the pavement.
The three had made it to the car in record time, and had left. Or sped off. Least to say, Naruto was not out of trouble yet.
It was waiting for him at home.

Naruto arrived a quarter till 5, and had been warmly welcomed by the older man with loud shouts, scolding the teen with disapproval. The man had gone at it up until now.

The blonde looked up at the doorway and watched as another older male, with the same exact blonde spikey hair and blue eyes, waltzed in grinning.

“Daddy’s home!” The man boomed again. Naruto winced and shut his eyes, willing the headache to go away.
“Arashi, Naruto has a hangover.” Iruka blatantly explained.
“Eh? Doing bad stuff already? Just when I arrived!” The blonde man exclaimed loudly, “Are you this excited to see me, my adorable little son?”
“That’s not the point!” Iruka yelled.
“Dad… you’re voice…” the small whimper was ignored.
“Give him some coffee! That should do the trick!”
“Dad…”
“Arashi! You’re son was drinking!”
“All men drink! Now, coffee!”
“Dad…”
“I mean, drinking alcohol--"
“Boys do drink that once in a while…”
“And he snuck off when I deliberately told him not to go!”
“And I most definitely do not approve! Should I bend him over my knee and give him the spanking he deserves?”
“Dad!”
“Yes! The spa--What?” Iruka gawked at the man.
“Naruto, go make some coffee.” The man ordered with a smile.

Naruto groaned and headed off to the kitchen.

“Arashi, Naruto snuck out last night.” Iruka explained as the older man sat down on the exact spot Naruto had been a while ago.
The two are exactly the same…’ Iruka shook his head.
“I know Naruto is capable of making his own decisions. And whether it’s right or wrong decisions, he has to make it.” Arashi began softly. “He’ll learn. He’s a good kid, a good son.”
“I know. But he worries me. He’s like a son to me, too.” Iruka looked around and scratched his head. “Just talk to him about this.”
The blonde adult nodded.

“Naruto!” the man suddenly yelled, causing the other man to jump again.
“Dad, quit yelling!” The blonde growled out, his form slumped over and resting against the side of the door frame, a mug full of steaming dark coffee in one hand.
“You didn’t make me one? You’re grounded!”
What?”

The brunette shook his head and headed out the door.

Kiba bounced on the bed, reveling in the squeaky noises the springs made, and of course, the agonized, annoyed ones Naruto made every time he landed and jumped.

“How the fuck do you manage not to have a hangover?” Naruto grumbled, trying to kick the brunette off his bed.
“Because I’m so macho, and you’re just a weenie. Can’t even hold your liquor.” Kiba sneered as he avoided the blonde’s kicks.
“You’re the one who got wasted way before I did, and pretty fucking quick too.” Naruto snorted back, hurtling a pillow at the unsuspecting teen.
The tattooed faced boy caught the pillow and stood still, looking down at the boy below him.

“What?” The blonde grumbled, then opened his mouth in surprise as the boy above him suddenly dropped into a slightly kneeling position, his weight supported by his legs as well as Naruto’s body, his frame hovering over the boy with the whiskered scars. “Oh, Kiba… are you falling in-love with me? So suddenly! My heart’s about to stop from this unpleasant surprise…”
Kiba narrowed his eyes and shoved the pillow into his friends face, and holding it in place.
“Kiba! This relationship has gotten abusive! I must leave you, once and for all!” Naruto claimed, muffled against the pillow.
“Shut up, Tinks.” Kiba growled, his eye twitching as Naruto began to laugh. The blonde finally shoved the pillow off of his face and stared up at his friend.
The boy suddenly seemed close… very close… ridiculously close. His face was merely a few inches away, so close he could smell the mint from toothpaste and a trace of coffee… Naruto reached up hesitantly, his fingers tracing the red marks on his friends face. His thumb slowly gravitated towards the bottom lip…

“Staring contest?” The voice cut through the silence like butter, startling the two teens.
“He started it!” Naruto accused, pushing the brunette off of him and hoping that his face wasn’t red, even though he could feel the burn, his head felt light. A small wave of nausea hit him and he fell back, groaning.

Shikamaru sighed and raised a question eyebrow at the boy who was rising to his feet, irritated at the sudden intrusion. Both boys had failed to notice his presence.

“You’re dad kept calling you.” Shikamaru informed, plopping down beside the blonde.

They had failed to notice that too.

“So… what’s going on? It’s movie night, isn’t it?” Kiba asked, grabbing the television remote and pushing the power button.
‘--In attempts to mend their broken relationship, as well as gain pity from his girlfriend, the man asked his friend to shoot him in the groin--'
Kiba snickered at the odd information and flipped to the next channel.
“Eh… I’m under house arrest.” Naruto mumbled.
“See what happens when you sneak out and get caught?”
You’re the one who suggested it, prick!”
“Guess who’s fault it is for listening.”

Shikamaru gazed out the window.

The loud buzz from the phone vibrating against the wooden table caused Naruto grumble as he reached out and answered.

“Huh?”
“Movie night. Your house.”
“Sakura?”
“Yeah, Naruto. You still hung-over?” The girl sounded perfectly fine…
“A little… you?”
“I’m fine… about last night...Thanks. I owe you one.”
“Ooh, Sakura, does that mean we’ll be going on a date soon?” the blonde chuckled.
“You wish. I’ll bring over the DVDs, ‘kay?”
“Ahh.” He agreed, shortly hearing the click afterwards.

Sakura was one of the closest girl-friends Naruto had. Ever since middle school, they had gone to the same school and been together. Although, Sakura had her own group, and Naruto had his, they still managed to get a lot of time together. Naruto and Sakura had their little awkward bonding moments, shared a few secrets, and also had their own serious conversations… although one couldn’t imagine a serious Naruto…

Naruto yawned and sat up, grazing the middle of his covered chest with his knuckles. Kiba and Shikamaru watched as the other teen grabbed an orange towel draped over the computer seat and headed towards the bathroom, making sure the towel slapped the tattooed face boy across the head as he passed by.

“To the shower.” He declared.

*************************************
It wasn’t a surprise really. How Naruto ended up alone with Kiba. Alone with Kiba. Alone. With. Kiba…
Arashi had left to ‘bond’ with his friends. Bonding as in gambling and drinking with Kakashi, Jiraiya, Iruka, Asuma, Kurenai, Tsunade… the old people.
Sakura had brought over her collection of DVDs, and all voted on what they had wanted to watch. Of course, when guys over-rule four girls’ votes, the girls tend to not want to watch anymore… Gore and action over chick flicks. Go figure.
When the girls opted to take over the family room and proceed with their ‘Movie Night’ ritual, the boys were left to watch in Naruto’s room.
One by one, the boys slowly disappeared…
Shikamru had said he was going to get the popcorn ready, and Neji had accompanied him to get a drink. They hadn’t returned.
Chouji claimed that he was going to raid the fridge. He hadn’t returned either.
Shino, the boy who always wore shades and was strangely interested in insects, had received a phone call and had gone outside. He hadn’t returned…
Kankuro and his sister, Temari, had also decided to go outside to smoke.
‘What was the damn point of ‘Movie Night’ if they were all going to leave and not watch the movie?’ Naruto fumed.
Halfway into the movie, the only ones remaining were Gaara, the red headed younger sibling of Temari and Kankuro, Haku, a feminine boy, Naruto, and Kiba…
But after a while, Gaara had left to find his brother and sister, and Haku… well, Haku decided he’d love to watch a chick flick rather than a man insanely slaughter others…
Sasuke had called at the last minute and had informed him that he wouldn’t be able to make it, due to some family party his father, Uchiha Fugaku, was hosting.

Naruto’s eye twitched. ‘Damn. Where the fuck did everyone--
Kiba shifted and his arm touched Naruto’s. Yes. His arm.

The boy stiffened and watched the other boy from the corner of his eyes. From what he observed, the other boy seemed focused, transfixed on the screen…
That is, until his back met the soft bed, and the other boy was now hovering over him.

“Naruto… don’t you think this movie’s getting a little boring?” Kiba questioned, his eyes now transfixed on the boy under him. His hands were firmly planted beside the blonde’s head, his weight slightly holding the other captive.

Naruto stared.

Movie Nights were not supposed to go down this path. Movie Nights were not supposed to lead up to this.

Kiba bent forward.

Were they not friends? Friends did not do this… they couldn’t. Wasn’t it an unwritten law somewhere? These actions could compromise their friendship, years and years of friendship… and somehow…it wasn’t really important, was it?

Naruto’s eyelids were half closed as he waited.

But it was important… Actions like these were taboo…

Lips met lips…

Actions like these caused problems…

Kiba shifted his weight more fully on top of the boy, his tongue deftly swiping at Naruto’s lower lip, begging for entrance.

Actions like these…

Naruto groaned and opened, giving access to Kiba’s waiting tongue.

It wasn’t right…

Kiba’s tongue did wonders to melt Naruto’s thoughts.

It needed to stop…

And suddenly, it stopped. Kiba pulled away and looked down at the rather mussed boy, his blue eyes looking up at him in question.

And suddenly… things were different.
