Chapter 2

Jaraiya and Naruto finally reached the gates of Kohana and were walking around town when they bumped into Shikamaru and Choji. “Hey Shikamaru, hey Choji how've you been?” said Naruto. “Hey Naruto long time no see.” said the obviously bored Shikamaru. “Hey you think you guys can catch me up with what's happening around here?” said Naruto. “Well there isn't much to tell you except Choji, Hinata, Temari, Shino, Kiba, Sakura, and Ino are all Chunin.” “What a `bout every body else?” “Lets see Neji, Rock Lee, Tenten, me are jonin, and Gara is Kazekage.” “What that means I'm the only genin this is so not fair.” “Well Naruto we better get going we still have to see Lady Tsunade and hopefully not get are asses kicked for staying away to long.” said Jaraiya. “Well I just hope Sakura-chan will forgive me for breaking my promise” thought Naruto.

After saying good bye to Shikamaru and Choji he and Jaraiya went to the Hokage tower to report in. “I wonder if Sakura has grown while I was gone” thought Naruto as they walked the streets of Kohana. While they walked to the Hokage tower a pink haired kunochi was on her way to the hospital for her shift when she bumped into Shikamaru. “Hello Shikamaru, how have you been?” “I've been bored.” “Well that's not a surprise there.” “Oh, Sakura guess who I ran into just a little while ago?” “Who?” “Your number one knuckle head ninja Naruto.” “Naruto he's back!” “Yeah he was on his way to the Hokage tower if you hurry he might be there now.” “Okay thanks Shikamaru see you later.” Said Sakura as she rushed to the Hokage tower.

Jaraiya and Naruto had finally made it to the Hokage tower after they stopped and talked to a few women who asked Naruto out. “Knock, knock” “Come in” said Tsunade. “Hello Tsunade it's been awhile since I saw your lovely face.” Said Jaraiya. “Can it and stop being a flirt you hentei.” “Tsunade you hurt me badly.” “By the way where's your student?” “Right here. Come here Naruto.” “Hey Tsunade-sama it's been a long time since I seen you.” Said Naruto “Wow you grown a lot I bet a pinked hair kunochi will be very impressed.” “Wh... what do you mean Tsunade-sama?” asked a nervous Naruto. “You know what I'm talking `bout.” Then there was a knock on the door and that pink haired kunochi enter the room.

“Hey there oh Tsunade- sensei I didn't know you had visitors.” “It's alright Sakura come in.” answered Tsunade. “I just wanted to tell you I've finished my rounds at the hospital and wanted to see if I can go home early.” “Well about you meet my guest and introduce yourself.” “Okay!”

As Sakura said this she turned around and was met with a handsome young man. He had shinning blue eyes with a hint of red in them. He had three whiskers on each side of his cheek. Then he spoke. “What's the matter Sakura didn't you miss me?”Said the blonde headed boy. “Naruto!”
