Chapter 2

 

“Follow the girl, Kisame,” the dark voice said it was none other than the other remaining Uchiha. “And what will you do Itachi-san?” the blue man question. “That's none of your concern,” he said in that flat voice he always used. “Why does leader need this girl again?” but Itachi was gone before he got his answer. “ Now I have to track down a little girl, what is leader up to?”

 

“This one will do.” Naruto told the bakery owner while pointing to a little blue cake. I wonder where shi-chan is. All of a sudden the door swished open the sound of bell on it still rung in his ears; it was Shizukesa. “ Naruto-kun I am sorry I got caught up talking to Ino and I …” “ don't worry about it I picked out that one right there.” He pointed to the cake. “I have to admit when you first told me that you still celebrated his birthday after he left I thought … you were nuts.” He told her earning him a smack upside his head. “I am not nuts I just … its just that … ok I am nuts its just that he's my friend and I miss him when he was here we celebrated together.” She defended herself. “Oh so your where he was always in a rush to go when we wanted to spend time with him. What other things would you two do?” “WHAT ARE YOU IMPLYING YOU HENTAI!” Naruto winced. “Hey, hey that's not what I was saying what were you thinking?' Shizukesa blushed slightly and found the floor suddenly interesting when the baker interrupted them. “15 dollars please” (a/n: I am not familiar with Japanese economy so I am just going to use American money sorry) “ oh right Naruto pay him” “why do I have to pay.” he whined.

 

 

At the konoha entrance

 

“This is so boring” the entrance guard complained. “ I should have brought a magazine or something. Its not like one of the most wanted missing ninja is going to waltz right into this village through the main…” but he was cut off because Uchiha Sasuke had just walked into the village. “…Gate.” The guard pulled out his walkie-talkie “can somebody inform Hokage-samma that Uchiha sasuke just walked through konoha's front gate volenterally.”

 

 

“So should we sing happy birthday?” A certain blond asked. “And he says I am nuts” Shizukesa said to no one in particular. “Hey I am not used to this, can you cut the cake?” “ What are you impaired…oh wait I forgot your arm.” She remembered how it broke he was trying out a new jutsu she felt kind of bad he was so sure he found something to help bring sasuke back but her aunt forbade him from using it. “Here let me give you a slice naruto-kun.” But alas naruto never got his cake because there was a knock at his door. “Naruto.” It was Sai's voice that they both recognized it sounded urgent. “I'm coming” he quickly unlocked the door. “What is it Sai?” the dark haired boy looked pass the blonds shoulder. “Did” he paused. “I interrupt something?” It took naruto a minute to get what he was implying. “Sai! No we were just never mind what do you need Sai?” “ I ran into Kakashi and he told me that Anko who was told by Iruka who was told by Kurenai who was told by shikamaru who was told choji that he saw sasuke being taken to the Hokage's office by anbu ninja.” He told him breathlessly. “Wow, word travels fast in konoha” Shizukesa said astonished that he managed to say that all in one breath. “Oh my god Sasuke's back let's go see him Shi!” with that he yanked her and ran out the door to go see Sasuke but not without coming back real quick to get a slice of cake first.

 

 

“Uchiha Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha.” The leader of konoha said. “Tsunade are quite through repeating his name.” One of the council members asked but Tsunade digressed. “So Uchiha what brings you here and what reason do I have to not sentence you to death right now?” the blond interrogated him. “ I killed Orochimaru and I am the last remaining Uchiha I know you wouldn't want to kill me there would be none left I don't think you want that for your village.” The Uchiha said flatly that earned him a few minutes of quiet shock then finally he got a response from the Hokage. “You killed him.” she asked in a voice that sounded child like, but then she caught herself. “What makes us so sure you wont run away again, and please hurry before Naruto gets here I am sure he's heard by now.” He gave her a quizzical look and opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by the door bursting open and you guessed it was the number one knuckle headed ninja and his friend Shizukesa. “ I told you, you know what I just came up with a great idea my niece I believe you have met her has gotten into a lot of trouble lately especially now that people have found out that she's a princess and a popular shinobi” she began. “She's popular with the men if you know what mean.” Naruto added which earned him a look from everyone in the room. “Just saying” he replied and the Hokage continued. “What I am saying is if you become her …bodyguard I will let you live agreed?” sasuke looked toward said girl and quirked an eyebrow at her, which made everyone else stare the girl, was daydreaming when she finally realized everyone was staring at her. “What's everyone staring at me for?” they all turned back to the Uchiha. “For how long?” he said in a sighing voice. “Till I say so it's that or nothing.” With one more glance at the pink hair kunoichi he said… “ok”
