He sighed giving up on his training for the day. He wasn't concentrating properly. Hinata had gone back to the hospital six days prior to this. Apparently the deathblow he had delivered her during the chuunin exams hadn't healed properly. Her chakra apparently still clotted in that area. She had been knocking on death's door when they took her in. Last he heard Hokage-sama had gone to heal her.

"She's home you know." TenTen said watching Neji give up on his training. He gave the dark haired girl a look. "Your cousin… She was racing Naruto to the mansion the other day."

"Umazaki Naruto??"

"Yes…" TenTen fingered one of her buns that sat on the side of her head. "It's really weird because I ran into him with different flowers in his hand. He was worried about her. He told me Hokage-sama told him about how she'd quickly recover since the time and the different medical advice she had received made her job easier. Since that visit she had been home the two of them talking as if they'd been friends always." The girl took a breath watching peculiar emotions flash on his face. He turned his pearl eyes towards her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. That Naruto is a sweet guy when someone he likes is hurt."

"Likes?"

"Yeah, you remember how he was her number one "cheerleader" during the exams. The two of them look out for each other. I noticed during the first part of the exam… She was offering her paper to copy off of. An odd couple they'd be-Hey where are you going Neji?" TenTen let him brush past her.

"You're in a talkative mood… I don't want to hear your nonsense." He continued walking towards the mansion. The entire way there thoughts of her blushing while talking to the blonde haunted his thoughts.

"…talking as if they'd been friends always."

"No… that imbecile has it for that Haruno girl." He ground out to himself before he made it to the mansion grounds.

"Bye, Hinata…" Naruto left her at the door before running off his face lit up like the sun and her face still with its usual blush in place.

"No…" He couldn't help but murmur. He waited for what seemed long enough for her to reach her room before he sped into the house. If he remembered her routine correctly she'd be stripping down for a bath.

"…An odd couple they'd be…"

"Over my dead body they'll be a couple." He said before pausing.
