1) have the alarm clock wake you up during a really awesome dream that you forget as soon as you start to hear that annoying beeping.

2) Have your mom start nagging at you because she heard you cussing when you decide to throw the annoying object across the room, breaking it in the process.

3) Get dressed.

4) Go down stairs looking for something to eat, and trip over a baby toy, knocking your head on the side of the kitchen table.

That's my list of things I've done this morning so far. …wow…FUN.

 

Anyway, somehow I managed to get through breakfast without killing myself. …such a miracle. Hinata and I made the normal small talk with okaa-san, and then helped her clean up as usual. By then it was time to head over to the Haruno household.

 

“Do you know where Sakura-chan lives? Or do you need me to walk you over?” I rolled my eyes. Okaa-san was only trying to be nice, but right now all her babying was doing was annoying the hell out of me. “No -Sigh- mom, Hinata-chan and I know where to go…. Thank you.” Mom nodded and handed us a bento for our lunches. We all said our goodbyes and Hina-chan and I started for Sakura's house.

 

“I'm impressed,” Hinata began in her normal quite tone, “ that you… that you can ACTUALLY be a bit polite, sometimes!” GAH!!! Damn little sis… I ignored her. She was only trying to play with me, and she was just too cute to yell at for something like that.

 

Anyway, we made it to saku-chan's house fine enough… Oh gosh, though, by the end of that day, I'd be wishing we'd fallen into a well and drowned or something!

 

 

Thank GOD that was over with! 6 hours straight of training!!! I thought I was going to DIE… we had fun, though. Sakura-chan had apparently decided to be nice to us now…

 

We were close to the Hyuga mansion now, and were expecting father to jump out of nowhere at any minute now to demand a full report on our training today. Surprisingly enough, we had an uninterrupted trip home. That in itself immediately put me on full alert. That, and it was WAY too quite around the Hyuga grounds…

 

Hinata and I were quite used to this, though. Father sometimes pulled something like this when we came home from school and such… a training exercise. Being as quiet as possible, I motioned for my sis to keep quiet and follow me. We slowly entered the house to find it as quiet as death. For some reason, as soon as I thought about that, a chill went down my spine. I shook it off as adrenaline, though, and slowly crept through the front room after we took our sandals off. Nothing or no one was out of place. Then again, nothing or no one seemed to be IN place, either. Quiet as a grave. Damn it! That stupid chill again! I silently told Hinata to check the rooms on the left, while I would take those on the right. She nodded, and slipped off. I sighed. This was turning out to be an exhausting day.

 

First room was our indoor dojo. That one was easy to check out, because the only things in the tatami styled room was a rack holding wooden swords, and a bench. Not very many choices for someone to hide with, ya know? So I moved on to the next room, which was the kitchen. Nope, nothing. Nada. I almost knocked over a broom, though. That would've sucked… Anyway, that only left the room that father used as his study. Nope… Although I did find it odd that the lights were on, which father never would have done… oh well. He wasn't there. I started over to nee-chan's side. Before I could make it, I heard a blood curling scream. OH GOD! HINATA! I practically flew towards where her voice came from. …It was mom and dad's room.

 

Uh oh… I stood in front of the door, my hand gripping the knob. I was willing my arm to move, to twist the stupid thing so I could enter, but for some reason, I couldn't. I was paralyzed. I was afraid. What was behind the door that made Hinata scream like that?

 

I stood there for a few minutes, when I heard soft sobbing coming from behind the door. That made my mind up for me. I could move again. Slowly, quietly, I opened the door.

 

“OH MY GOD! MAMMA!!!”

 

A/N: CLIFFE!!! WOOH! What happened to their mom???? And how? Is she ok? *evil laugh* I guess you'll just have to wait and find out, ne?

 

GUESS WHAT?! THE STUPID FLASHBACK WILL BE ENDING SOON! I promise you that after it ends, the story will get A LOT better! But I had to do this stuff, because it's an extremely important part in this story.
