For some reason, she always believed he would be there.
For some reason, she believed he would continue to take her shirt, and stay by her side.
"I'm done." Her blue eyes filled with tears, and she took a step towards him.
"But Shiki-"
"No .." When she tried to put her arms around him, he pushed them away.
"But, why?" The tears slid down her pale cheeks.
"I'm tired of your shit! I've already got a mother, I don't need another one. All you do is bitch at me, and I am tired of it." He finished stuffing a few things into his bag, and turned to make his way towards the door.
"And there's someone else!" His fingers wrapped around the doorknob, but he stopped. "Do you really think I am stupid?! I've known! I know!"
"It was over a long time before that started."
"Who is she? Do I know her?"
"It's none of your business." He pulled the door open, completely ignoring her screams, and slammed it shut behind him. He heard a loud "crash" against the door, and then her loud sobs. Just like that, he was gone.
