Setting: Shino and Cat are walking though the forest together. Neither has said much.

 

Cat: Ugh, I don't know how much longer I can stand this awkward silence. Why can't I think of anything to talk about? Why am I so nervous about being alone with him? What if he heard my confession? Oh, what if he rejects me? Oh Brittany will never let me live it down if I get dumped!

 

Shino: Hey Cat?

 

Cat: *gulp* Oooohhhhh! Here it comes! The moment of truth. Yes?

 

Shino: What you said to Brittany did you mean it or did you just way it to get her to leave you alone?

 

Cat: Oh boy, oh boy, (Brittany if you help me now I'll never make fun of your romance novels again!)

I really do feel that way Shino. Like I said I really like you. (Silence) Well say something!

 

Shino: I really like you too Cat.

 

Cat: You do?

 

Shino: Yeah, you're a really talented ninja, and a good friend. (Leans over and kisses her)

 

Cat: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Yea! Shino likes me! (The two continue to kiss before finally laying down and fall asleep together)

 

Back in the room: Brittany is lying on the bed trying not to die of boredom.

Brittany: Man I'm so bored! I'd bet all of my novels that Tenten and Cat are with there lover boys. Hmp, what do I care? Maybe I'll go out a train awhile. No, I don't want to run into any of them especially when they're sucking face. (Thinks about what it might look like to see Cat and Shino together) Ugh. Now I know I'm not going to get to sleep tonight. *sigh* (There's a knock on the door)

Come in. (The door opens and Sasuke enters) Oh, hey Sasuke.

 

Sasuke: Hello Brittany. Where did Cat and Tenten go?

 

Brittany: Is that the only reason he came in here? Tenten went to sleep outside, and Cat left with Shino about an hour ago. Anything else you want?

 

Sasuke: No, I just came to talk to you. (Comes in and sits on the bed next to her)

 

Brittany: So what do you want?

 

Sasuke: I just wanted to tell you that; I.... (Looks over at her before finally kissing her)

 

Brittany: Sasuke? (The two break apart and Sasuke holds her close to him)

 

Sasuke: I love you.

 

Brittany: Sasuke, I love you too Sasuke. (The two continue to kiss before finally falling asleep in each others arms)
