Why did he leave me? Sakura thought, staring into a cup of tea. Sasuke Uchiha...the boy that she loved had gone away. He left the team...he left her. All to get stronger. And ever since that day, Sakura was heartbroken. It was like...when he left a piece of her heart went with him. She got up and walked out of the restaurant leaving the tea on the table, untouched.

She was walking down the street daydreaming about Sasuke. Sakura did that more and more these days. She always thought about where he was and if he was all right and wondered if he thought about her?

She never thought about the facts. The fact that Sasuke didn't pay much attention to her at first. The fact that he never showed any signs of loving her back. But she didn't care. When he was hurt and in the hospital, she was with him. She stayed with him and he never said thank you. Am I better off without you...Sasuke-kun? She thought.

During her daydreaming, Sakura bumped into someone. It turned out to be Naruto. "Hey, watch where you're- Oh, hi Sakura-chan!" He said, relaxed it was her. Naruto hated the fact that Sasuke had left too. But he was happy because maybe now he had a chance to make Sakura like her.

"Hi Naruto-kun." Sakura said dully. She knew she should have been nicer to him. Naruto did, after all, have a crush on her from the day he first saw her. "What's wrong?" He asked her. "It's nothing, Naruto." Sakura said, walking away from Naruto. Naruto stood there and stared at her back.

Sakura kept on walking until she came to the bridge. The place where she last saw Sasuke. The place where he said goodbye to her. The memory started to replay itself in her head. The sakura blossoms were falling, Sasuke was already halfway across the bridge with a traveling sack slung over his back. Sakura was running towards him. "Sasuke-kun!" She shouted to him. He turned around to look at her. Sakura didn't even notice that she was crying.

"Please don't go!!" Sakura cried. The tears were still coming down her face. "I...have to go." Sasuke said. "But...but why?! What can you get out there that you can't get here?!" Sakura shouted. "...Strength...I need to get stronger..." Sasuke whispered. "I need to beat him. And the only way to do that is to do what he did...and leave." He turned around, started to walk and left Sakura there, crying for the a boy that didn't love her. Finally, she couldn't hold it in any longer. "But I love you!!!" She shouted. Sasuke stopped walking and turned his head to look at her. "I love you." She whispered. And that was when it happened. Sasuke smiled. It was the first time she saw him smile. "Thank you." He said. "But I have to leave. I'm sorry." He walked away and this Sakura didn't try and stop him. She just fell on her knees and sobbed. When Sakura thought about Sasuke now, she still felt the pain. But she realized that...maybe Sasuke just wasn't the one for her. He was her first love and she would never forget that but it was time to move on.

Looking off towards the distance she smiled as the wind blew through her pink hair. She whispered silently "Thank you, Sasuke-kun." She ran away form the bridge and hoped that she could find Naruto and tell him she was sorry about what happened.
