Chapter One

 

“I'M GETTING WHAT!” rang over Suna from a red-headed Kazekage.

“Gaara, calm down, it's not that bad.” His blond sister Temari said, attempting to calm him down.

Gaara collected himself before speaking again. “Why was I not informed that I was getting married?”

“Well, because little brother, we knew you wouldn't like it and would try to find a way out of it.” Kankorou said, clearly amused at his brothers reaction.

“What about the girl, she better not be one of my fan girls or you'll find your self buried under 300 meters of sand.

“Oh no, we're not that crazy.” Temari assured,”Actually, she didn't know about it either.”

Gaara twitched slightly. “You mean we both had no idea that we're getting married.”

“Yes, but that was only because she's the daughter of the Icekage and her fathers been trying to get her to marry someone, and this is to form an alliance with them anyway, so suck it up.” Temari snapped.

“Fine, I just have three questions, 1, what's her name, 2, how old is she, and 3, when am I going to meet her?” he asked, clearly annoyed by this whole situation.

“To answer your questions, her name's Akina, she's 19 like you, and we're leaving in four days to go to Ice.” Temari answered for him.

“Why four days?” Gaara asked, they could easily leave now or tomorrow.

“Because some of your friends are coming from Leaf, they wanted to help escort you there.

`Oh great' Gaara thought. `Naruto's going to tease me about this for sure'

“When will they be here?” Gaara asked.

“Three days.” Kankorou said.

~3 Days Later~

“Gaara!” a blond haired shinobi yelled out as he burst through his red-haired friend's office door. “ We're here!”

“Shut up, Naruto” a pink haired konouchi yelled, while punching him in the head, successfully leaving a huge dent in the floor.

Gaara sighed. “Hi guys, what's up?” he asked in a bored tone. In front of him stood his twelve friends from Leaf and his two siblings.

“What's up! You're getting married, that's what's up!” Naruto yelled as he suddenly sprang up. Everyone sweat dropped at his change of attitude.

“Calm down, I didn't even know about it till yesterday.” Gaara said, and then added,” What?” as he saw there shocked faces.

“You mean you it's an arranged marriage?” Sakura asked, as she leaned back on her boyfriend Sasuke.

“Yes, she didn't know about it either, but it's to strengthen are alliance, I just hope she's not a weak fan girl.” Gaara said.

“You haven't even met her yet?” TenTen asked a little shocked.

“No.” Gaara said glaring at his siblings.

“Oh, yeah, and Gaara.” Temari said, trying to get his attention.

“What now?”

“I sort of miss calculated when we are supposed to be there. It takes a day to get there from Suna and we need to be there tomorrow, so if we don't leave now, we'll be late” Temari said.

Everyone sweat dropped. “Fine,” Gaara sighed,” Let's go.” He stood up and used his sand to grab his stuff in the corner and they headed off.

“Why i-is it so c-cold.” Naruto stuttered.

“Just like Suna is hot, Ice is cold.” Temari said simply, a fur lined jacket now around her.

A few hours after they left Suna the ground started to turn from sand to ice, and now they can see the gates of Ice.

“I don't see how they can stand this cold, they never get any sun here at all.” Kankorou commented.

Suddenly they heard a loud explosion to there left. They turned and looked to see what was going on. “Neji.” Gaara said simply.

“Byakugan!” Neji said and suddenly his eyes widened.

“What is it?” Sakura asked.

“A fight, and there's a monstrous amount of chakra coming from there.” Neji replied.

“Let's go check it out.” TenTen said and they all started to run in the direction the sound came from.

When they got there, what they saw was shocking. A girl stood in the middle of a ring of about ten guys. Outside two other girls were unconscious

The girl in the middle if the ring had black hair and purple eyes. She had he bangs framing her face and dyed purple while the rest was braided back in rows on her head until her ponytail, which had two chopsticks in it. She was wearing a dark purple tube top that stopped under her chest with mesh covering her stomach, arms and legs. She had fingerless gloves on and he nails were painted purple. She had on a black skaters skirt with purple shorts underneath and black fur lined skates. On her back two katana crossed over on another and she had a small fan on each hip with a silver bangle on each wrist. She also had a silver ring on her right thumb and a silver chain around her neck that had a dragon hanging off of it. Around her waist her forehead protector hung loosely with a snowflake engraved on it.

The men appeared to be talking to her and they were about to help when she responded to them and disappeared. She appeared again with her katana in an X in a crouched position. Suddenly cuts appeared all over them and they dropped dead.

She sheathed her weapons stumbled slightly over to the other two girls and healed them quickly, then collapsed, clutching her side. The groups of shinobi were about to come out when the girl said, “Are you going to help me or just stand there.”

They were shocked because, 1, she had sensed them, and 2, it appeared she had known they were there the whole time. They had been masking there chakra so it seemed they weren't there.

“How do you know we aren't your enemies?” Kankurou asked.

“Because of two reasons, 1, you could have easily attacked me before I healed my teammates, who by the way are about to wake up, and 2, three of you are from sand and twelve of you are from leaf, so I know your are allies.”

That shocked them even more, but nobody moved until Sakura got over the shock a knelt beside her.

“What happened?” she asked, as she examined the wound.

“One of my team mates weren't paying attention when a kunai with an explosive tag was thrown at her and I pushed her out of the way, dodged the kunai, but forgot about the explosive tag.” She explained.

“Oh.” Sakura said, then her eyes widened. “It's already healing, who are you?”

“Makado Akina, the Icekage's daughter.”
