Itachi's eyes widened. That's not true! He yelled inside his head. Itachi slammed his hands down on his father's desk, his eyes full of rage as he looked at his father. "Father that's absurd!! How could you come to a conclusion like that!?"

Fugaku folded his arms and closed his eyes. He leaned back in his chair, unphased by Itachi's anger. "The evidence all fits. Sasuke, is the number one suspect who could have killed Shisui. "

"You've got to be kidding!!! Sasuke, wouldn't and he couldn't do that! Why Sasuke!?"

Fugaku sighed deeply and looked at his oldest son. "Everyone had an alibi except for Sasuke. You were on a mission, everyone was accounted for...but Sasuke wasn't at the academy or at home..."

Itachi stood there about in a daze. Where could Sasuke have gone then? It seemed like a set up. Wait...that's it... Itachi thought back to the other night when Sasuke had stood up for him about going on the mission. Sasuke always took a stand for Itachi when it seemed like Itachi needed it most. And without Sasuke, Itachi would be Fugaku's perfect and only son to train, order around and such because there would be no younger brother in the way that would need attention. Fugaku was trying to get rid of Sasuke! Itachi's only piece of sanity was slowly being ripped from him by his father.

He knocked things off of his father's desk and looked him straight in the eyes. "Sasuke is not a murderer!! You just want to get rid of him so you can focus everything on me! It could have been a ninja from another village!!"

Fugaku's face looked hurt and stunned by Itachi's words. "Itachi! Not THAT is absurd..."

"He's your son! How could you do that!?"

At that moment Mikoto and Sasuke had walked through the door. Everyone exchanged wide-eyed glances at each other. Mikoto looked directly at Itachi's eyes then looked away. Itachi blinked and realized his Mangekyo Sharingan was activated. A cold chill ran deep down to the pit of his stomach. Sasuke was holding his mother's hand tightly and Itachi could see that he was now shaking.

"Sasuke..." Itachi said softly taking a step twards him.

Sasuke shook his head and with tears in his eyes ran out of the building as fast as he could. "Sasuke!!" His older brother called after him.

Itachi ran past his mother who gave him a serious glance before turing to look back at Fugaku. Itachi gulped as he ran after Sasuke. His mother HAD seen. Was she going to tell his father? He could only wonder. As Itachi looked around he noticed that Sasuke was no where to be found. He hopped up to one of the houses and looked around. He couldn't have gotten far.

Meanwhile, Fugaku looked at his wife. "Mikoto...did you check Itachi's eyes?"

She looked at him with a straight face and spoke with a firm tone. "Yes. Itachi doesn't have the Mangekyo."

Fugaku sighed with relief. "Good...for a while I though he might have...."

Mikoto looked at the ground. She would talk to Itachi later. "Sasuke, is clear too. He got into a fight with the Hyuga boy from down at the academy."

He nodded and wrote that down on a book laying beside him. He growled as he looked everything over. Was it really a ninja from another village that klilled Shisui? Or did he really commit suicide? Maybe someone was lying...but who?

Itachi hopped around the streets looking for Sasuke. Where could he be?? "Sasuke! ....Sasuke come on!"

"Itachi...." called the weak little voice from an abandoned area.

Itachi hopped down to where Sasuke was and knelt down by him. "Sasuke...why did you run...?"

"Dad hates me...he thinks I killed Shisui...but Itachi....I didn't I swear I didn't!" He was sitting next to an old building. "I Would never kill Shisui, brother!"

Itachi smiled and picked Sasuke up in his arms, walking back twards their house. "I know, Sasuke. There is no reason to apoligize. Shisui's death was....mearly an accident I'm sure..." He reached the door of the house and set Sasuke down.

"Brother...."

"What is it?" Itachi turned and looked down at him. Sasuke was looking his older brother up and down. Itachi blinked, waiting for an answer.

"Something is different about you, brother..."

Itachi's heart skipped a beat.

Sasuke looked up at him with serious eyes. "Itachi...you seem so distant....Ever since that day you hurt your shoulder...you seemed....I don't know..."

Itachi smiled and ruffled Sasuke's hair. "I'm alright, Sasuke. Don't worry so much about me"

There was a knock at the door. Itachi went to open it. Inabi, Tekka and Yashiro Uchiha all stood before him. Sasuke watched from far behind. They gave him a note and Itachi's eyes narrowed at it. It was about Shisui's death. They were questioning him about it. He told them several times that he did not kill Shisui but they still kept firing back at him. Until the point where Itachi snapped.

Sasuke watched, wide eyed as Itachi took down all three of them with lightning quick speed. Itachi's anger had lashed out at them. What did they know about it? Shisui had practially MADE Itachi kill him. They were trying to blame Itachi for it all. To make matters worse his father had come home. At one point Itach shouted out words he knew he would regret.

"There is no hope left for this clan!!" He shouted, glaring evily into the faces of Fugaku, Inabi, Tekka and Yashiro.

It just made him so mad so mad that he could just pull out a kunai, grab them by their necks and just....
