The young girl gasped, her eyes opening achingly wide, her body jerking upwards into a sitting position. Sweat poured down from her face has she began to gasp for air. Her body shook like she had been outside in a blizzard for a few hours. Her eyes frantically danced around the scenery, taking in the great pine trees with their green needles and brown, thick trunk. She took in the blackness off the shadows has well. The ebony shadows seemed to be lurking closer and closer, threatning to swallow her whole. A loud scream emitted from her body has she hyperventilated has the darkness swallowed her small form, seemingly making her blind. The last thing she saw was black, stone cold irises that stood out from the whiteness of the rest of the eye.

Kiira jerked up gently, having had that dream more then once. She studied the area, nothing seemed to be out of place. The owls were hooting and the moon shined brightly. Her eyes went over to her sick mother and she put her hand over her mother's heart. Still beating. She sighed in relief and put a blanket over her sick mother. She pulled a mask over her mouth and walked off. She needed the medicine for her mother and she hoped tonight would be the night she would run into a camp of ninja and be able to find it. The young, 12 year old girl was strong for her age. She had been trained by her mother before she went ill. She ran silently, only stepping down with the balls of her feet. She darted her eyes around the scenery and suddenly stopped has she turned her head.
Tonight would be the night. She saw a small camp and a smirk came on her face has she stepped gingerly through the trees, making sure not to stop on any sticks or leaves. She stepped over a bush and looked around. She heard soft snoring and smirked has she looked around for the bag of supplies. She found it right next to a tent and creeped over towards the bag. She unzipped the dark, midnight blue bag slowly. She shuffled around the messy bag and stopped has she heard the unzipping of a tent. Her hand was wrapped around the medicine and she quickly pulled it out and zipped the bag up, running forward. She tripped over a string which caused some type of alarm to go off. She growled has she pulled herself to her feet. She was surprised has she ran into a hard body.
The young girl fell back, landing hard on her bum. She stared up with a growl at a tall man who's silver hair shined in the moon. She sweeped out her leg trying to trip him up but he merely jumped then put his foot on her leg, pushing down, causing her to growl deeply. She turned has she heard the shuffling of footsteps behind her. "Kakashi- Sensai! what's happened!" she heard and turned to look at the blonde boy. He looked around her age, has did all of him. She felt the foot off her and she made a move to get up but she felt someone pick her up, slinging her over their shoulder. "Let me go!" she growled dangerously, kicking out at the man known has Kakashi. He sat her down on a thick log but her hands were tied and the medicine taken from her. The young girl growled in frustration. No! She had been so close! Her mother had been so close to being cured. Tears slipped down her eyes at her own foolishness. If her mother died it would be her fault for not being good enough!
"Why do you need that medicine..... it is usually only used for a very severe illness" Kakashi asked her. She growled. "It's none of your buisness what I need it for!" she growled dangerously through her mask. She felt it pulled down, revealing her pink lips and pearly white teeth. "Just let me go! you can have your damn medicine back!" she hissed. Kakashi looked at her skeptically for a minute before letting her go. She threw the medicine at him and stalked off, glaring at the kids her age has she passed them before running. She ran towards her mother, not caring how loud she was this time. Has she reached the clearing she noticed her mother was awake. "Mother.. how do you feel?" she asked the 30 year old woman. "I am fine Kiira.. where did you go darling" her mother said before going into a fit of coughts and hacks. She sighed gingerly. She turned has she heard something and growled has she noticed it was Kakashi and his team again. "I thought I told you to leave me alone" she hissed. Her mother seemed alarm. "You know these people Kiira?" she said before going once more into her coughing fit. "I caught your daughter trying to get this", he held up the medicine, "I wondered why she would need it but now I see" Kakashi said and he tossed Kiira the bottle. Kiira caught it easily.
"This is no where for you two to live" Kakashi stated and looked back at his team for a moment. "We are headed back to out village.. I might be able to talk the Hokage into letting you stay" he said. Kiira growled. "We don't need your help! We're fine out here -" Kiira was stated and was about to continue when her mother interuptted. "Kiira.. you are so stubborn sometimes.. excuse her stubborness we'd love to come to your village" her mother said. She coughed a bit before standing up shakily. Kiira walked over to help her mother but Kakashi beat her to it. Kiira glared and turned to look over at the other people in the area. The girl had pink hair, pale skin and emerald green eyes. One of the boys had black hair with black eyes and pale skin. He seemed like the silent type. She then turned to look at the blonde who had sapphire blue eyes and tan skin. He looked cocky. The girl just sighed has she watched Kakashi help her mother. "We'll get a move on now and by the way Kiira this is Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno" he said has he continued to help her mother. "I am Kiira Haratobu and my mother is Mai Haratobu" she said before walking foreward, keeping pace with Sasuke. Everything was silent has the walked towards the village. When Kiira saw the village she gasped. It was like a poor person seeing all the money in the world or a ramen lover seeing a ramen buffet. She walked towards it and suddenly someone jumped infront of her.
