Ch.14-Troubled Dangers

"You like me?" I asked turning to Lee as Kaminari walked away.

"Kagami-chan will you be my girlfriend," Lee asked grabbing both my hands in his.

"Lee-kun I," I said but turned my head hearing a familiar voice in the distance.

I looked and saw Naruto running frantically towards us.

"What is it Naruto-kun," I said moving away from Lee and to Naruto.

When I was close enough I stopped as Engo jumped from Naruto's head and into my arms. He was shaking terribly and looked pale well as pale as a ferret could.

"I found him along the road towards my place," said Naruto.

I didn't hear him much because Engo's words disturbed me more.

"He's here, "Engo said, "He has Kaminari-chan."

"What!? Where!?," I yelled and realized how Naruto and Lee were looking at me, considering they couldn't understand Engo.

"Go, show me!" I yelled.

Engo jumped from my arms and ran off down the road.

"Come on, Kaminari's in trouble," I said looking back at Lee and Naruto.

I ran off hearing them following close behind me.

"What did Engo say," asked Naruto.

"She's been captured," I said speeding up.

"Who has her?" asked Lee running ahead of me.

"I don't know," I said.

"Why would he want her?" I thought.

Naruto said "Who would capture her, she's not a ninja so what use would anyone have for her?"

I wanted to punch Naruto myself for a moment but Lee beat me to it.

"Do not speak of my sister that way!" he shouted.

Thankfully the punch didn't knock Naruto over. It only slowed him down a bit. We followed Engo and came to an open field. I sensed a familiar presence and told Naruto and Lee to hide in the bushes. After a short dispute they jumped back into the bushes as someone stepped out of the bushes on the opposite side of the field.

Kabuto stood at the edge of the field with Kaminari unconscious in his grasp.

"Let her go," I said.

"Sure as soon as you plant that evidence," said Kabuto playfully placing a kunai at Kaminari's throat.

"It's too late for your sensei but I hoped this would be convincing enough for you."

Kabuto slipped the kunai across the air about an inch from Kaminari's neck. In a flash Lee and Naruto jumped from the bushes, anger on their faces. My eyes pricked with tears, my sensei hadn't had time, and Orochimaru had done it himself. I wiped the tears from my eyes and clenched my fists. My hands rose in front of me and I forced my hands to perform the hand signs. My hands glowed blue as the branches from trees reached out and grabbed Lee and Naruto tying and binding them against the trunks.

"Kagami-chan what are you doing?" asked Lee struggling against the tree's hold.

I walked over to Naruto and swiftly punched him in the head, knocking him unconscious. I made my way to Lee and went to knock him out too but thought better of it. Tears pricked my eyes again as I stared back into his confused onyx eyes.

"I'm sorry Lee-kun," I said staring at the ground.

"Engo, get Kaminari!" I shouted running towards Kabuto.

I activated another jutsu that caused Engo to grow 25 times his size. I knocked the kunai away as Engo pushed Kaminari out of Kabuto's hold.

I sent Kabuto flying with a swift kick to his chin. I launched myself off of my hands repeatedly kicking Kabuto higher into the air each time. I pulled at now slightly visible charka strings connected to paper bombs and tightened them onto Kabuto's back.

"Now you'll die," I said.

I grabbed his arms and pulled him closer spinning us both into a fast rotating sphere.

"Revolving Iris!"

At the last second before we hit the ground I turned, released the strings, and forced him into the ground below me as the paper bombs exploded. The explosion sent me crashing into a tree but I didn't feel it I only got up and found the ground below me was red. I slowly made my way to Kaminari and Engo urging my body to move faster. I released the jutsu that had the tree branches holding Naruto and Lee. Naruto fell to the ground unconscious but Lee rushed over as fast he could. I saw my legs trembling and knew it was due to the weakness caused by the Revolving Iris. It was just below the Reverse Lotus on the list of forbidden techniques.

I fell but saw Lee catch me as the world started to fade away from my sight. I reached into my weapon pouch and removed the scroll of forbidden techniques. Right there I transported the scroll back to Suna, no one would know. I saw water fall from my face and knew my tears had escaped my eyes. Too late, my sensei was dead; I knew it to be true.

"I'm sorry Lee-kun," I said as I had before to him.

"Kagami-chan please, what is happening?" Lee asked.

I looked down at my arm and caught the first sign my hand was shaking violently. I pushed Lee away as the shocking band let out electricity and engulfed my body. It was only a moment later that I forced my quick fluttering eyes to open and I saw Lee grab the band his body also being engulfed by the electricity. If he held on it would stop his heart too. I heard a snap and then darkness fell over me.
