Author's note: Chapter 2 of our dramasterpiece begins. A while ago, my computer crashed and burned on me and lost all my stories in the process but I was lucky enough to post the first chapter. Our nine-tail fox/Crow avatar has returned from the dead to seek retribution on Orochimaru and rescue his old friend Sasuke from him. Naruto's mission of vengeance begins right here and right now!

Chapter 2:

This Fire Burns

A day had gone by since Naruto came back into Sakura's life. She was waiting for him to return from his search for Orochimaru or at least his minions. Sakura offered the undead ninja to stay at her home since Naruto's home was occupied by another ninja student. She heard a knock on the door, Sakura opened it to see Hinata. Ever since Naruto's death, Sakura and Hinata became friends.

"Hinata, what are you doing here?" Sakura asked.

"I came to here to talk you about something," Hinata replied.

"What is it?" Sakura asked.

Hinata felt hesitant to answer her friend's question. "Um...well..."

"Come on, Hinata, what is you're trying to tell me?" Sakura asked, slightly impatient.

"Last night, I saw Naruto passing by my house," Hinata repiled.

Sakura's inner-self flared in anger upon hearing what Hinata said. 'How could she possibly know Naruto came back from the dead!?'

"I've been quiet about this for far too long, Sakura," Hinata said. "I'm...I'm in love with Naruto."

'What the fuck? She can't love him!' Sakura's inner-self shouted then Sakura said out loud, "Oh, really?"

"Yes. The next time I see him, I'll tell him how I feel," Hinata said.

'No fucking way, you whore!' Sakura's inner-self screamed then Sakura lied out loud, "How can you say that? Naruto's been dead for three years. Perhaps you were dreaming, heh heh heh."

"No, I wasn't, Sakura!" Hinata shouted. "I know he came back here. For what reason, I don't know but I know he's back!"

"Whoa, I didn't know you felt way about him," Sakura said.

"I do, Sakura. I really, really do," Hinata said matter of factly.

"Do you wanna stay here for awhile?" Sakura asked.

"No," Hinata said. "I should get going. I have some training to do in the morning. I'll see you later, Sakura."

"Ok, I'll see you later," Sakura said as Hinata left.

Right after Hinata left, Sakura heard a crow cawing outside. She saw Naruto leaping off a roof with his bird flying behind him from her living room window. Naruto came in about a few moments later as he said, "Sakura, I'm home."

"Hey, there. How'd your hunt go?" Sakura asked.

"I didn't find Orochimaru or his bastard minions," Naruto replied. "I'll continue my hunt for him tomorrow."

"Oh, I don't think so," Sakura said. "You've been gone for nearly a day and you're already dirty. You need a bath and tomorrow, we're gonna shop for new clothes."

Naruto's jaw dropped to the ground. "Wha!? You've got to be shitting me, Sakura!"

"I'm not!" Sakura exclaimed. "As long as you live under my roof, you will obey the rules. Besides, you can't walk around being Mr. Vengeance all the time."

Naruto couldn't think up a come back toward Sakura's comment. He sighed in defeat and marched into the bathroom. Sometime later, Naruto was sitting in the bath tub with a folded white washclothe on his head. Sakura had already set up a towel for him along with some toiletries. After ten minutes of cleaning himself up, Naruto drained the water and got out of the tub. He grabbed the towel and wrapped it around his waist as he heard Sakura's voice.

"Hey, Naruto, I have some...pjs...for...," Sakura said before she came into the bathroom and saw Naruto clad in nothing but a towel.

Sakura blushed upon seeing Naruto all soaking wet. The blond Crow avatar couldn't help but smile at her as Sakura's inner-self said, 'Wow! Naruto looks so...so...beautiful. I can just lay him down and...purr'

Sakura giggled at her kinky thoughts. Naruto broke the silence as he said, "I believe you have something for me."

"Oh, yes. Sorry," Sakura said as she laid some pjs on the sink. "I have these pjs for you."

"Thanks," Naruto said as Sakura left him to his privacy.

The pjs consisted of a wifebeater and orange colored shorts. He put them on and left the bathroom. Naruto walked into the living as he asked Sakura, "Where am I gonna sleep?"

"You're sleeping on the couch," Sakura replied.

"Huh?" Naruto gasped. "Why can't I sleep in your room?"

Sakura blushed. "Well...you can't, that's why!" Inner Sakura had said, 'Sure, Naruto. You can sleep in my bed . . . as long as you know I'm not letting you sleep! Cha!'

"But--," Naruto said before Sakura bashed him in the face.

"Just go to sleep, mister!" Sakura yelled.

"Ok, ok, fuck," Naruto said.

Naruto collasped onto the couch and went to sleep. Sakura grabbed a pillow and a blanket from the closet; she propped the pillow under the undead ninja's head and draped a blanket over his body. Sakura couldn't help but smile as she watched Naruto sleep.

'Naruto looks so peaceful when he's sleeping,' Sakura said in her mind. 'He may have been a huge pain in the ass but he sure has grown up over the years.'

"Good night, Naruto," Sakura said out loud before she went into her room to sleep.

(Next morning)

The sun climbed its way up to the Konoha skies and bathed the streets with its rays. Naruto was snoring loudly as Sakura walked into the living room to wake him.

"Wakey, wakey, Naruto," Sakura said but Naruto was still soundly sleeping. Sakura groaned angrily then yelled, "Wake up, you jackass!"

Upon hearing Sakura's yell, Naruto screamed as he woke up then fell off the couch.

"Dammit, I'm up!" Naruto exclaimed. "You didn't have to yell."

"It was the only way to wake you up," Sakura stated.

"Whatever," Naruto said.

"Better bathe and get dressed," Sakura said. "You and I have some shopping to do."

"Ok," Naruto said as he walked into the bathroom.

Naruto took a shower first then Sakura had one. They got into seperate rooms and got dressed. Sakura put on a simple pink sundress while Naruto wore a black sleeveless shirt and baggy black jean shorts. They were ready to go out but there was one problem.

"Naruto, you can't go out looking like that," Sakura said.

"What are you talking about?" Naruto asked.

"Look in the mirror, handsome," Sakura said.

Naruto looked into the mirror to see his painted face. "That can be easily remedied. Watch this."

With a few simple hand gestures, Naruto placed his index and middle finger on his forehead and the paint on his face disappeared.

"What happened to the corpse paint?" Sakura asked.

"Just a simple glamour jutsu," Naruto replied. "No one will never know who I really am."

"Whatever you say," Sakura said.

They left the house sometime later for the shopping district of Konoha. They checked out the various shops all over the district. Sakura were buying clothes for both herself and Naruto, it was too bad he had to carry all the bags in his two hands and tried to be careful not to fall down.

"Uh, Sakura? Don't you think you've bought enough shit for the both of us?" Naruto asked while trying to hold to the bags filled with new clothes.

"Just one more shop and then we're done," Sakura replied.

It was then two teenage boys stopped in front of her as one of them said, "Hey, sexy. How's it shakin'?"

"Excuse me?" Sakura asked, slightly annoyed.

"C'mon, beautiful, you were shaking that ass at us," The second boy said.

"Don't ever talk to me like that, asshole!" Sakura shouted.

"Ya can do better than dat, Akira," Akira's buddy, Hondo said. "Say, honey, how'd youse like to come back to our place and get naked wit us?"

"Don't talk to me like that or my boyfriend here will kick your ass!" Sakura screamed.

'Boyfriend? Me?' Naruto asked mentally while blushing.

"You mean that retard over there?" Akira asked, pointing at Naruto.

"Don't you ever call me that, asswipe!" Naruto shouted. "If ya know what's good for ya, ya better back off!"

"That does it! Hondo, let's kick that retard's ass and take his chick!" Akira ordered.

"Now you're asking for it!" Sakura said.

Hondo and Akira went after Naruto as he dropped the bags to the ground. Hondo went after the blonde ninja first. He pulled out a knife and tried to slash at Naruto but he quickly dodged it and kicked Hondo in the face. Hondo rubbed his bloody nose and went after him again. He ran at Naruto with the knife aimed for his heart but he grabbed the incoming thug's wrist which stopped him in his tracks. Naruto smiled at Hondo, flipped him over and dropped him on the ground. Akira tried to punch him in the face but Naruto simply avoided the punch, turn him around and shoved him toward Sakura. The pink-haired ninja kicked Hondo's accomplice in the jaw then grabbed his shirt.

"This one's mine, Naruto," Sakura said.

He gave her his approval with a simple nod.

"Didn't your mom ever teach you some manners?" Sakura asked.

"My mama's dead, you 'ho," Akira said. "I killed her."

"That does it!" Sakura shouted as she punched Akira in the face.

Everyone of the shopping district witnessed Sakura giving Akira a beating of his life. After five minutes of punches and kicks, Sakura dropped a very thoroughly beaten Akira to the ground. Every person clapped their hands at Naruto and Sakura for beating up the two thugs. Afterwards, Naruto and Sakura left the shopping district and headed for home. Little did Naruto and Sakura knew, they were being spied upon by a man with his face completely bandaged (except for his left eye) and wore what it appeared to be amplifier on his arm.

'That boy, he seems familiar,' Dosu said mentally but then he realized who the kid really was. 'No! It can't be him! Naruto's dead! Orochimaru must hear this at once!'

With that said, Dosu left the Konoha shopping district for his master's lair.

(Orochimaru's lair/Sound Village)

Orochimaru was training his promised pupil Sasuke. During the last three years, the Sharingan ninja was perfecting his skills for his revenge against his brother, Itachi Uchiha. Orochimaru wanted to take advantage of Sasuke's rage and hatred. He wanted him to channel it all through his training. Sasuke seemed to have forgotten about his old teamates, Naruto and Sakura but he didn't give a shit about them anyway. No matter how much they tried to teach him about the good qualities of life, he was too focused on one thing, vengeance.

Sasuke was fighting a few ninjas of the Sound Village. He didn't use his sharingan to copy their moves since he deemed them not worthy of its powers. He took them down easily as Orochimaru said, "Excellent, Sasuke. Your techniques are becoming better."

"Thanks, my master. But give me stronger opponents next time," Sasuke said. "These guys aren't worth your or my time."

Sasuke's teacher couldn't help but smile. One of his minions, Dosu, came in with some news for his master.

"Dosu, I thought I told you not to come in here while I train my prized pupil," Orochimaru said.

"I'm sorry, my master but I have some news to tell you," Dosu said.

"Out with it," Orochimaru said. "What is it you want to tell me so badly?"

"That kid, Naruto. He's back," Dosu said.

"Are you fucking serious? Naruto's back?" Sasuke asked with a discontent tone.

"This is no joke," Dosu said. "Naruto really is back from the dead and he's here to destroy you, Orochimaru."

"Hmm. He wants vengeance on me, huh?" Orochimaru asked. "I don't how he came back but I'm gonna have to deny him his little vengeance. Dosu, I want you to find him and destroy him."

"As you wish," Dosu said.

Dosu bowed then left. Sasuke had a feeling something bad was gonna happen.

"Something tells me Dosu won't be coming back," Sasuke said.

"What are you talking about?" Orochimaru asked.

"Since Naruto has the powers of the fox within him, Dosu won't stand much of a chance," Sasuke said.

"I hope you're right," Orochimaru said.

"If anyone's gonna destroy Naruto, it's gonna be me," Sasuke said.

"That'll be your honor and your honor alone," Orochimaru said.

An idea suddenly popped into Sasuke's head. "Master, you don't mind if I follow Dosu? I wanna see what Naruto's new found powers are."

"Go ahead. I think you've earned yourself a break from training," Orochimaru said.

Sasuke stormed off from the training ground and followed his comrade. Dosu lept from tree to tree while he contemplated about seeing Naruto back at the shopping district.

'I can't believe that moto-psyhco kid is back,' Dosu said mentally. 'I don't know how he came back but I do know he's going to sleep with the maggots once more.'

The bandaged-faced ninja continued his trek back to the Hidden Leaf Village while Sasuke followed him. He wasn't concerned about Dosu but he wanted to see what his old Team 7 mate was capable of.

'It's been three years since I last seen Naruto,' Sasuke thought. 'I have no doubt Sakura is with him. Once I kill him, I'll kill his girlfriend too.'

(Hidden Leaf Village/Sakura's house)

Naruto donned his ANBU outfit and red scarf for his night partol. He opened the window and leapt out of it with his bird following him. Naruto searched the woods for any of Orochimaru's minions. It was then he saw a bandaged-faced ninja with amplifier gauntlet on his arms leaping from branch to branch several feet away.

'There's one of your killer's minions now, Naruto,' the crow said. 'Kill him and send that Orochimaru bastard a message.'

Naruto smiled evilly under his red scarf. He jumped toward his prey and attacked him. Dosu was tackled by a masked teenager dressed in black as they fell off a tree branch. Dosu hit the ground hard then got a good look at his attacker. The mysterious ninja had blond spikey hair and red cat-like eyes. Dosu realized who the masked ninja really was.

"You," Dosu stated. "You're dead."

"Sorry to disappoint ya," Naruto said.

"When I'm done with you, you'll be sleeping with the maggots again!" Dosu screamed as sound waves shot out from his amplifier guantlet. "Vibrating Sound Drill!"

Dosu unleashed devistating sound waves from his Melody Arm gauntlet. Naruto felt a sharp pain in his ears as he collasped to his knees. Meanwhile, Sasuke arrived to see Dosu putting the hurt on his would be killer. He sat down on a branch and watched the fight.

'Dosu has Naruto on the ropes with his Sound Drill attack but he won't keep him down for long,' Sasuke thought.

Despite his ears drums splitting from the sound waves, Naruto was able to gather his bearings and run toward Dosu through the sound wave. He delivered an open palm smash to the sound wave Jonin. Dosu crashed onto his back then kicked himself back up as he taunted, "Is that the best you can do?"

"You haven't seen my best yet," Naruto said as he morphed his fingernails into claws.

"I'm gonna make your ears bleed, you son of a bitch!" Dosu screamed as he fired another Vibrating Sound Drill attack.

Naruto dodged the incoming attack and jumped toward Dosu. He plunged his right hand into his chest, all through his back. Blood formed around the mouth area of Dosu's bandage mask while his own blood dripped off of Naruto's clawed hand. The dying bandaged ninja leaned forward on Naruto's shoulder as he said his last words, "You'll...never...destroy...my...master. He's...gonna...fuck...you...up. I'll...see...you...in...Hell...Naruto."

Dosu was now dead. Naruto released his hand from his enemy's corpse and dropped it to the ground. His bird flew onto his shoulder and told him, 'Now, give Orochimaru your calling card. Let him know who killed your quarry.'

"Yeah," Naruto said with sinister furvor.

Naruto grabbed his kunai and torn open Dosu's shirt with it. He carved a crow onto the dead body's stomach. After finished carving, he wiped the bloody kunai on Dosu's pants and placed it back in the pouch.

'Excellent,' the bird said.

They suddenly heard a faint applause in the distance. Naruto noticed Sasuke sitting on a tree branch but he seemed bit different. He wore a black shirt and a pair of black shorts, gone was his Konoha head band. His hair was a tad longer but his piercing black eyes remained the same.

"That was an impressive fight, albeit a short one," Sasuke said.

"Sasuke?" Naruto asked.

"In the flesh, comrade," Sasuke replied. "It's been three years. Where the hell you've been?"

"I was training," Naruto said.

"Ha! Last time I checked, you were dead," Sasuke said coldly.

"Sasuke, what happened?" Naruto asked.

Sasuke jumped off the branch and picked up Dosu's corpse. "Same like you, training. Orochimaru had been helping me in a quest for vengeance of my own."

"That sneaky snake bastard killed me," Naruto said with anger. "I'm gonna make him suffer for it."

Sasuke smiled. "I don't think that will happen."

"What?" Naruto asked with confusion.

"I don't know how you came back but I won't allow you to kill my master," Sasuke said. "If anyone's gonna kill you again, it will be me."

Naruto was hurt upon hearing Sasuke's words. "You bastard! Sakura has been worried sick about you and you dare choose Orochimaru over her!?"

"I never gave a rat's ass about that weak bitch, anyway," Sasuke said. "I'm never going back to the cesspool that is the Hidden Leaf Village. Now if you excuse me, I have a corpse to deliver. And we meet again, we will fight. I'll see you around, Naruto."

Sasuke left as Naruto stood there with sadness. He doesn't know how Sakura will react about what Sasuke said. Naruto had so much respect for him but now, he had nothing but hate toward him now.

(Sakura's house)

Naruto returned to Sakura's house an hour later. Sakura walked into the living room to see Naruto covered in blood and had a sad look on his face.

"Naruto, what happened?" Sakura asked.

"I was in a fight," Naruto replied sadly.

"What's wrong with you?" Sakura asked. "Do you feel bad about killing one of Orochimaru's henchmen?"

"No, it's not that. I saw Sasuke," Naruto replied.

Sakura got excited upon hearing Sasuke's name. "You saw him? What did he say?"

Naruto sighed. "He said he isn't coming back. He even called you weak."

Sakura gasped and started to cry. "No. I can't believe Sasuke would say such a thing!"

"I'm sorry," Naruto said sadly. "The worst part is...he's working with Orochimaru."

Sakura hugged Naruto tightly as she cried her eyes out. He wrapped his arms around her and did his best to comfort her. Naruto became pissed for what Sasuke said about her; he vowed to destroy Sasuke for not only hurting Sakura's feelings but also working for his killer, Orochimaru.

(Sound Wave Village)

Sasuke returned to the Sound Village about an hour later. He came to Orochimaru and dropped Dosu's body to the ground.

"Dosu's dead, I take it?" Orochimaru asked.

"Yes. Killed by Naruto," Sasuke replied.

"Hmm. The fox demon is causing him to do this," Orochimaru said. "The fox demon will soon consume him and it'll be matter of time before he comes after me."

Orochimaru noticed something on Dosu's body. He got up to get a closer look of it. It was a crow-shaped wound on the corpse's belly.

"Hmm. Fascinating," Orochimaru said.

"What is it, Orochimaru-sensei?" Sasuke asked.

"It seems our friend left behind a mark," Orochimaru said. "What does a crow have something to do with Dosu's death?"

"A calling card, perhaps?" Sasuke asked.

"Maybe. Sasuke, I want you to look into the symbol's significance," Orochimaru said.

"Yes, master," Sasuke said then left.

He looked at the crow symbol until he ordered his guards to take Dosu's dead body away because it was starting to stink. Orochimaru got up and sat down as he thought, 'I wonder if this bird symbol has something to do with Naruto's resurrection? Once I figure this out, I'll use it to destroy him.'

End note: Second chapter is now complete. I hope you all enjoy Naruto's sudden not so nice reunion with Sasuke. In the next chapter, Sakura and Hinata confess their feelings toward Naruto but which girl will he choose? Plus, there will be some sexual content and if you're not comfortable about it, don't bother readin'. Don't worry, there will be more violence and foul language. Anyway, who's next on Naruto's hitlist, Zaku or Kin? Ya're gonna have to wait, my fellow wolves and Crow-ites. Until then, enjoy the second chapter.
