Disclaimer: Hey, yeah, I don't own any of the Naruto characters, they aren't mine, that's Masashi Kishimoto's jurisdiction. Also not mine. The only characters I own are Keitaro, Tsuki and Ryo. Those are mine. So now that you understand, don't do stupid stuff like getting pissed off at me and letting the law suits fly, ok?

 

Although this is simply the prologue, I feel it is necessary for the readers to know, this is a shoujo-ai story, meaning, this story is about a homophobic relationship. Your probably thinking, “I see nothing gay in this story” well Mr.smarty, that's because, this be the prologue. There will be, don't like it? Well you really shouldn't be reading this now should you? Well later, enjoy my short prologue.

 

Problems

 

 

“kkzz…..G…get…out of…t..here..Tsuki!” the static on the radio made it almost impossible to hear over the loud roar of the wind and the crack of thunder and lightning. Quick footsteps could be heard slopping through the muddy underbrush of the Konohagakure forest. Another streak of lightning lit up the sky. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Her breath came in shallow gasps. Her body couldn't take much more of this.

 

“Ryo! Help me!!” the petrified Tsuki screamed into the radio, as her face was drenched in the rain pouring from the sky as well as her tears of complete terror. The crack of thunder was so loud it made the ground shake. The only illuminating factor was the lightning that cascaded down from the heavens. Other than that, it was totally eclipsed by darkness.

 

“T..Tsuki…kzz…the..ANBU..on…the way…kzz..” the radio buzzed again. `Damn the static!' she thought as she kept running. Althought she couldn't feel her legs anymore because they had gone completely numb from either running so far for so long or the rain mixed with the icy winds. She didn't know or care. She suddenly found her self paralyzed, her foot was caught. As she used all of her strength to pull it free she lost balance and fell face-first into the slick and muddy turf. A sharp sting burned through her body as the mud and the fresh cuts she had on her body mixed together painfully. The cramping of the muscles in her legs wasn't helping either.

 

“Oh no..Tsuki..the…ninja….kkzz…close…kzz…beep beep beep..” the radio died

 

“Ryo? RYO!!!” she cried not expecting an answer. She forced herself up, her muscles straining and hurting even more. Aggravated, she throws the radio at nothing in particular. Her clothers were ripped and her body was covered in scratches and blood. As she slowly got to her feet, she heard someone speak:

 

“Tsuki Kuroku, you are coming with me.”

 

“Oh no..” she muttered as she forced her legs to begin moving again, despite the pain. ”Leave me alone!!” she screamed behind her. Out of no where she hit something hard. And judging by what she felt, she could tell she was at the side of the mountain. She was trapped. Shutting her eyes tightly as she pleaded with the evil ninja again, ”Leave me alone, please!”

 

Another crack of thunder shook her once again, and another streak of lightning temporarily gave her the advantage of sight, but when she looked around, she soon regretted it.

 

The bolt of lightning that had given her sight had struck dangerously close to her, and struck a large tree. The next thing she knew, the whole tree was up in flames. She looked just below the tree and saw a figure, she couldn't make out any details but she could see that the figure wore a long coat. She could see the figure's eyes, they were bloody red. Intimidating.

 

“Get away from me!!” she screamed, then something caught her eye. A small opening in the side of the mountain. `Yes!' she thought as she made a mad dash for the opening. When she got closer, she could see that it was only big enough for a small person to fit through, if anybody. 'Perfect!!' she thought as she made her way through the entrance.

 

“That should slow him down..” she muttered while she continued to run. It was incredibly dark, other then the small glimmer of light that the fire outside provided. She didn't know what lay down the tunnel but she didn't care she kept moving. She got at least 10 feet away from where she had entered the cave when a loud bang and a powerful force threw her another 5 feet. She looked up to see the shadow of the figure standing in a huge hole made from the explosion the ninja caused, she could see the fire had increased behind the figure, and she could still see those eyes. Those blood red eyes.

 

“It's pointless..” the ninja said in a harsh tone

 

She pushed her exhausted body up and ran as fast as her legs would carry her. She only got about 25 feet down the tunnel when she saw a small glimmer of light. Hope had risen within her again. She pushed her body to the limits as she ran faster. Just then, she felt sharp pain in her legs and her right arm as she heard metal hitting the rocky wall.

 

“Ahh!!” she cried in pain, but she kept moving. Her determination to live kept her going.

 

“A wasted effort.” the ninja said again

 

The ninja seemed to be right behind her. She reached the spot where the light had come from, to see a man standing there with red lines running down his face. His spiky, white hair reaching down to the center of his back.

 

The pain and exhaustion from running had finally caught up with her. She collapsed, but the man caught her before she hit the ground.

 

“Please…help me…”she begged as her eyes closed and everything went silent.

 

 

Author's Notes:

Yeah it's a really short chapter, but this is describing the problem. Still there is MUCH more to come, so if you guys will stick around, it will get better, I promise, and “I don't take back my words, thats MY way of the ninja!!”
