A/N: Being the inexperienced person I am at uploading fanfics, I accidentally deleted Chapter 8 and 9 hehe. Anyway, they are back up now and here is Chapter 10. I do wish that these were set out a lot better but I guess it is alright the way it is.

 

Naruto_Rules: Hello. That description sounds very interesting and I might consider adding your character. I use the word `consider' because I have already planned out all of my other Jinchuuriki that use water based Jutsu and some of your techniques that you wrote sound very close to some of the ones I made. Also, if I let one person name a character, then more people will hope to have their own in this fanfic. Oh by the way, I didn't write in an A/N for people to review with names for Jinchuuriki did I? I have a weird feeling I did lol.

Chapter 10

**

“You wished to see us Hokage-sama?” Kurenai asked as she, Anko and Genma entered the office quickly.

 

“You are all currently aware of the situation. I want you to set up a base of actions on the far eastern side of Konoha. Evacuate all of the Hospital patients and Medic-nin to the base and then I want Anko and Genma to go and help the Nara clan. Kurenai, you will help in aiding the injured”

 

“Yes” As all three ran out the door, Shizune rushed back in and over to Tsunade's desk.

 

“The clan heads have been alerted and are heading to the western side of Konoha to help the Nara clan. The Sand village has been informed of the situation and we are expecting a reply soon. Inoichi and the Yamanaka clan are moving to flank the Hyuuga from behind. The academy students have evacuated to the cave behind the Stone faces and I have received word from Kakashi about Naruto. It would seem as though they have found him”

 

“And it's about time to. Shizune, after this whole thing started the council contacted me. While they think that I am doing a good job in handling everything, they would like me to get someone to handle the Civil War”

 

“What, you mean like another Hokage? That's absurd, who would they want to elect?”

 

“I think you know”

 

**

Earth Country

**

“Good news, Naruto is less then 2km ahead. Gaara of the Sand and an unknown female are with them. Everyone, prepare yourselves. Only use extreme force when necessary, we are not trying to kill. Sakura and Hinata, I want you two to stay out of this fight unless dragged in. If for some reason I, Neji and Sasuke are defeated, you will have to fight them. However, this is highly unlikely”

 

The Genin all shouted “Yes” and the 5 dashed off straight over the Earth Country border. It wasn't long before they spotted the trio moving in the distance. Neji and Hinata activated the Byakugan whilst Sasuke and Kakashi, the Sharingan. Sakura thought she should do something cool as well so she drew a kunai and threw it at a near-by tree. Kakashi sweat-dropped at this but they all kept moving.

Less then 1000m north

**

“You two, stop” Naruto said as they came to a halt in the middle of an opening. Biting his thumb and doing hand seals, he placed it to the ground.

 

“Summoning Jutsu” A small red fox appeared on the ground and snarled at Naruto. Gaara and Ayaka both looked into the distance and nodded.

 

“I want you to go directly east and tell Kyuubi what you see. Make sure to hide yourself well” The fox nodded and dashed off in the direction of Team 7. Naruto turned to Ayaka and Gaara and sighed.

 

“I have a feeling I know who it is coming for us. Ayaka, I will need to do something quickly. Open up your robe” This earned Naruto a whack to the head and a laugh from Gaara. Ayaka had obviously taken the order the wrong way and Naruto suffered because of it.

 

“Pervert! How dare you-”

 

“You moron, I wanted to give you something that will help draw upon Rokubi's strength. Now, I have to do this fast” Naruto placed his hand just below Ayaka's neck and within moments a black mark with 6-tails appeared in a perfect circle. After the seal stopped glowing, Naruto's hand unconsciously lingered there for a few moments which earned him another whack to the head. Quickly taking his hand away, he looked in the direction that he sent the fox as Kyuubi spoke to him.

 

“Brat, we have some company. Your ex-team-mates, that Neji guy that you beat at the chuunin exams and that girl Hinata are all on their way here. Do not summon me unless it's necessary because when you summon me, I can't give you my chakra or heal you”

 

`Got it' Naruto turned to Gaara and Ayaka and sighed once again. “Ninja from my village are closing in on us. I don't think we will be able to avoid this fight. Finish the two girls of quickly then Ayaka will fight Sasuke while Gaara will take on Neji. I'll hold off Kakashi for as long as I can”

 

“Yes” Getting into their fighting stances, the three watched as the five Konoha ninja appeared 10 metres in front of them. They all stood in silence until Naruto smirked.

 

“So the Uchiha has come back for another round huh? And the obsessed fan girl to?” Sasuke was almost about to charge Naruto then when he felt Kakashi's hand on his shoulder.

 

“Naruto, you are to come back to the leaf now. Whatever you're trying to deal with, let us help you” Hinata and Neji nodded but Sakura ran at Naruto.

 

“This is for hurting my Sasuke-kun!” Sakura pulled a kunai but she received a knock to the back of the head before she could do anymore. She quickly turned around before she lost consciousness and found Naruto standing there. Hinata and Neji stood wide-eyed at the speed at which he performed the Jutsu while Kakashi sighed.

 

“So Jiraiya was right after all. You were this strong this whole time” Naruto made a small movement with his head and Ayaka charged at Hinata with full pace. Doing hand seals faster then any of them could see, Ayaka yelled.

 

“Secret Lightning Art: Lightning Bombardment” The sky above roared with thunder and lightning bolts erupted, destroying the ground below. This acted as a distraction as Kakashi grabbed Sakura and continued dodging. Sasuke and Neji moved with ease but Hinata barely avoided a rather large bolt which gave Ayaka the opening she needed. Punching the Hyuuga girl in the stomach, she fell over. But just before she went unconscious, Hinata aimed a Gentle Fist attack at Ayaka's right arm, closing several key Chakra points.

 

Sasuke quickly targeted Naruto but was taken aback when Ayaka appeared in between the two. Neji faced Gaara which left Kakashi for Naruto.

 

“Byakugan” Neji got into his Hyuuga style stance and drew his hand back for an attack at Gaara's shoulder. But when he thrust his arm forward a wall of sand appeared and took the blow. Gaara smirked but that soon faded as the sand defence started crumbling away. Looking to Neji for an explanation, he smiled.

 

“The Gentle Fist can break through anything which has Chakra infused within it. Your Absolute Defence is quite possibly the worst match for me” Gaara glared at Neji before activating his Curse Seal. His red hair lengthened as his skin turned golden brown. The blue line down the centre accompanied by a yellow aura of chakra marked the transformation as complete. At this time, Naruto also activated his Curse seal along with Ayaka. Ayaka's hair grew down to her waist and the ears atop her head grew bigger. Blue eyes turned to golden as she charged at Sasuke.

 

Sasuke quickly activated his Sharingan and countered every one of her moves, but she was just too fast. Sure, he could read her movements but what good was that when he couldn't keep up? Drawing a kunai he threw it directly at her but she merely deflected it with her own. They both jumped back and begun hand seals. Ayaka gasped as she felt the effects of the Gentle Fist taking effect.

 

“Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu”

 

“Secret Lightning Art: White Lightning Evolution”

 

A large ball of fire was produced from Sasuke's mouth and aimed at Ayaka. Not noticing it until the last second, she jumped out of the way only to have the fire burn her arm. Sasuke smirked but that soon faded as he noticed two balls of electricity forming in the air in front of Ayaka. They were quickly growing until they resembled the form of Ayaka. One charged at Sasuke who tried to place a kick to its stomach but the kick went right through it. The human form of lightning encircled Sasuke's leg and exploded, seriously damaging said leg and causing him to limp. Sasuke hopped backwards and produced hand seals that Ayaka immediately recognised.

 

“Secret Lightning Art: White Lightning Evolution”

 

All too familiar balls of lightning formed in front of Sasuke and took on his shape. The only noticeable difference was that the lightning was purple, whereas Ayaka's was white. Pushing that thought aside, Ayaka sent the last of her technique to grab the two lightning forms of Sasuke, causing all three to explode. The shockwave knocked Sasuke and Ayaka off their feet though Ayaka was the first to recover.

 

“So that is the ability of the Sharingan. To be able to copy a technique perfectly and be able to mirror it is no small feet. Well then, I'll just have to kick it up a notch.

Western side of Konoha

**

“What a drag” Shikamaru had just arrived to assist his family's fight against the Hyuuga when he was charged by a Hyuuga clan member. Sighing, he faced the man and began his technique.

 

“Ninja Art: Shadow Possession Jutsu” Shikamaru's shadow stretched out to the Hyuuga man and trapped him. Drawing several kunai, Shikamaru quickly threw them at the man's vital organs, killing him. Dropping his technique, Shikamaru rubbed his neck. The fight didn't seem to be favouring either side. Konoha had set up a base of actions as far away from the fight on the eastern side. The Hyuuga clan however, had taken refuge in the Forest of Death. Shikamaru caught a glimpse of Asuma and ran to see his sensei aiding an injured man to the hospital. Sprinting to his side, Shikamaru grabbed another two injured Konoha ninja and dashed off with Asuma.

 

“Shikamaru, you should have stayed with your clan” Asuma said as he spat out his current cigarette and replaced it with a new one.

 

“The quicker the injured are cured, the faster this thing will be over”

 

“If only that were true”

Earth Country

**

And so the fight raged on. Sasuke and Ayaka were fighting hard alongside the fight between Gaara and Neji. Naruto and Kakashi, however, stared at each other. Neither one spoke for what seemed like hours when Naruto looked up.

 

“I feel kind of guilty watching my allies fight while im standing here. So if you don't mind then lets get started” Naruto made to charge at Kakashi but stopped when he held up a hand.

 

“If we are going to fight, so be it. But first I need to tell you something. If it were my choice, I would have told you this the moment you graduated from the academy. However, Sensei told me to wait until you had become a chuunin”

 

Naruto's attention was fully on Kakashi. “What do you mean? Tell me what?”

 

“The reason that fox was sealed within you”

 

“Wh-What? You know why?”

 

Kakashi nodded. “You see, the Nine-Tailed Fox could only be sealed within a new born child. Naruto, you were the only child born on that day and also, a Father wouldn't dare ask for another child if he wasn't willing to give up his own”

 

Naruto's eyes widened even more. “Then he-”

 

“The Fourth Hokage was your father. I, Jiraiya and the Third Hokage were told not to tell you until you were a chuunin, as I said before. Naruto, do not be angry. He did it for the good of the village-”

 

“DID THAT MEAN HE HAD TO SACRIFICE HIS OWN SON'S FUTURE?”

 

“Naruto, please calm down-”

 

“His name, tell me his name!” Naruto shouted at Kakashi, barely able to control his rage.

 

Kakashi sighed; this was not how things were supposed to turn out. “Minato Namikaze”

 

“It is true kit. The resemblance you two share is almost scary. Also, your scent is the same as his”

 

`Why? Why didn't you tell me?' Naruto yelled at the fox in his mind.

 

“It was not my secret to tell. Also, he told me not to”

 

`He told you not to?'

 

“When the Fourth sealed me within you, he used his soul to keep me at bay through the confines of this cage. If it weren't for him, I would have been able to take over your body”

 

`Does that mean he's here now?'

 

Kyuubi nodded.

A/N: Remember when I said I decided that Sasuke's defection would take place? I changed my mind again, sorry. Anyway, I added this last part because I am a huge fan of the Fourth Hokage and, well, yeah. I want to say this now, to save the drama of explaining later. The Fourth Hokage will not be able to leave Naruto's body.

 

So, how do you like how the fight is progressing?

 

Only another Chapter or 2 until the 2.5 year gap. The reason for the gap will be explained next chapter. I know some of you may be thinking `He's going to end it soon' then you are wrong hehe. This fanfic's main plot will be staged after the 2.5 year gap.
