A/N: Im back, after my huge break of 3 days! Just kidding, I had to write this chapter before it destroyed my mind. Also, I didn't want to forget anything. When you work at a place where you are bored easily, it gives you a lot of time to daydream. So, daydream I did and here is Part 2 Chapter 1.

 

**

Outside of Konoha, 2.5 years later

**

Two figures walked towards the side gates of Konoha. One with shoulder length blonde hair, tied into a ponytail at the back, and one with short jet-black hair which sat atop his head in spikes. Both of them wore long black cloaks with a grey outline. The black haired man was slightly taller then the blonde, and quite obviously older. He had a Waterfall forehead protector with a scratch through it on his head whilst the other had a Leaf protector, also scratched. The two made there way ever closer to one of the gates into Konoha but stopped and quickly put on a black hood each which covered all but their mouths from view as a Leaf chuunin appeared in their path. Walking up to them, he spoke.

 

“State your name and purpose. However, unless you possess proper identification, I cannot allow you to enter the village at this-”

 

The man stopped when a chop to the back of his neck knocked him unconscious. Before falling, he noticed that the assailant was an exact copy of one of the two in front of him.

 

“Ninth, you should have just killed him. The moment he wakes he will alert the village of our presence” The black haired man said to the blonde.

 

“No, I will not commit unnecessary murders. We are here for one reason and one reason only. Is that clear, Third?” Naruto Uzumaki turned to the other man who smiled.

 

“Crystal clear”

Konoha town square

**

Destruction…complete and utter destruction was the only thing that could describe the village at this time. Shops had holes in the walls and windows were smashed. A large gathering of people stood in the centre of the damage facing a podium. Standing behind said podium was a blonde haired woman known to some as Tsunade, but too many as the Fifth Hokage. Behind her on chairs sat Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake and the survivor of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke. All wore their usual attire except for Sasuke, who was wearing red and white robes. The crowd cheered when Tsunade cleared her throat.

 

“As you all know, the village has been in distress these past couple of years from the events of the civil war. The council has asked me to focus my attention on the outside of this village and to call in someone who will handle issues inside the village. This new person will be given the title of the Sixth Hokage of Konoha”

Konoha Village Gates

**

Naruto Uzumaki had expected a large welcoming committee consisting of a squad of ninja waiting at the gates to enter the village but all he got was a single guard, who was defeated with ease. Naruto was in memory lane when he walked on the path inside when the man beside him coughed rather loudly. Facing the man, he grinned.

 

“Don't tell me you still have feelings for this pathetic village after everything they did to you?”

 

“Perhaps…let's pick up the pace. I don't want to spend too much time here. Remember that Ayaka and Gaara might need back-up if he proves to be too much for them to handle”

 

They both nodded and dashed towards the town. After a few minutes of running, they came to a stop outside a ramen stand. Unable to resist the temptation, Naruto sat down.

 

“My apologies, Third. It's been a while since I've eaten at Ichiraku plus im hungry”

 

“I can't blame you. This food smells good” As they both sat down comfortably next to each other, the man behind the counter walked up to them and smiled.

 

“Welcome to Ichiraku ramen. What can I get for you?” Teuchi asked only to stop and wave behind Naruto. “Kiba, Shino, shouldn't you two be at the ceremony?”

 

Naruto twitched when he the names of his old friends. Moving slightly so he could see them, his heart skipped when they sat on the opposite side of the stand. If Kiba got a smell of Naruto's scent, the infiltration will have been for nothing. Quickly ordering one Miso ramen with pork from Teuchi, he accidentally spilt it on himself so as to cover his scent. Teuchi insisted that Naruto have another so went off and made one. Naruto, however, edged himself a little closer to Kiba and Shino to hear what they were talking about.

 

“Kurenai-sensei said to find the two that entered the village. If they are allies of the Hyuuga, then we need to capture them for interrogation. Besides, I'd rather not be at Mr. Perfect's promotion ceremony” Kiba finished with a grunt. Shino, however, continued to stare at the two in black sitting at the stand. Shino quickly turned to Kiba and whispered.

 

“I do not think I have ever seen those two in this village before” But when he turned back to them, they were gone. Standing up, Kiba and Shino nodded before racing to the town centre.

 

**

Not far away

**

“Crap, did you here that Third? They know we're here” Naruto continued cursing but stopped when a loud cheer was heard from somewhere east. Looking quickly to his black haired friend, he leaned against a wall.

 

“I think we should go to that ceremony. It could give us some insight on the situation in Konoha and also there are bound to be ninja. As long as we remain unseen, we may be able to capture an Akimichi”

 

They both ran off in the direction of the town square and stopped a corner from the stage. Looking up, he caught sight of his old team and smiled that they hadn't changed much. However, after giving Sasuke a once over, he frowned.

 

“You've got to be kidding me”

 

“I now announce the Sixth Hokage of Konoha, Sasuke Uchiha” The villagers in the crowd roared with cheers of `We love you Sasuke' and `You showed that demon'. Tsunade sighed, she had been forced by the council to tell the village that Sasuke had defeated Naruto and she couldn't even send a squad looking for him again. Nobody but those who were present, herself and the council knew Naruto was alive. But, that didn't stop Jiraiya from looking.

 

“Spare me” Naruto turned away as Sasuke took to the podium for his speech.

 

“Wow, the quality of Hokage has really gone down hasn't it Naruto” Minato spoke from the Kyuubi cage. Over the last few years, they had really bonded as father and son and got to know each other a lot. In fact, Naruto was even able to master a couple of the former Hokage's techniques.

 

“I have to agree with you there. But, if the village thinks im dead then that works in my favour”

 

“Maybe”

 

Returning to the current situation, Naruto took a look around the crowd quickly but noticed that none of the rookie nine were here, apart from Sakura. Perhaps it would be easier for him if he captured a younger Akimichi.

 

Naruto body flickered around some buildings alongside his friend but stopped when nobody was in sight. The rookie nine had to be somewhere in the village. They wouldn't be on a mission when a new Hokage was being elected. Naruto arrived at his old training ground and smiled. There, in the middle of the ground, was Konohamaru practicing his Taijutsu. Quickly running backwards on the path, he came to a stop when two ninja appeared in front of him. One had black hair tied in a ponytail and a chuunin vest while the other, a large mane of brown hair and red combat armour.

 

“Nice to see you, Chouji, Shikamaru” Naruto spoke in a deep voice so as to hide his identity. If he had to fight, it would be quite obvious it was him though.

 

“Oh, so you know us. That means you must be a current or former Leaf shinobi”

 

Sighing, Naruto reached up and removed his hood. Dropping it to the ground, Shikamaru and Chouji gasped. It was exactly how they remembered him, apart from longer hair. The black haired man smiled.

 

“Some friend's of your's Ninth?” He slowly removed his hood and dropped it next to Naruto's revealing spiky black hair and a tanned face. Black eyes glared back at Shikamaru.

 

“Then allow me to introduce myself…Ryouta of the Hidden Waterfall”

 

“We did not come here to fight. However this may be unavoidable because of what I am about to do. Chouji, you will come with us now” Naruto made a small gesture of the hand and Ryouta jumped into action. Drawing a kunai he made a swipe for Shikamaru's chest but after it appeared he got him, it disappeared and a log took its place. Shikamaru appeared behind Naruto and Ryouta as Chouji smiled. Shikamaru placed his hands into his family's jutsu and spoke before Naruto could realise he was behind him.

 

“Ninja Art: Shadow Possession Jutsu”

 

A long shadow stretched out from Shikamaru's feet and aimed for Naruto and Ryouta. Naruto only just realised what was happening and threw a three-pronged kunai just before the Shadow caught him.

 

“You're the last person I expected to find in the village when Kiba and Shino told me of intruders, Naruto. That doesn't mean im disappointed. Quite the contrary actually, I am happy that I'll be able to bring you back to our side” Shikamaru finished and reached for some kunai in his weapons pouch. Bringing them back over his head, he started to throw them but stopped when Naruto grinned.

 

“You are obviously overlooking something” Naruto's grin grew wider as Shikamaru looked around at the three-pronged kunai that Naruto threw before. He thought nothing of it but after looking the kunai over, he noticed a seal on it. Turning back to Naruto, his eyes widened when Naruto summoned himself to the kunai and in bright flash of yellow light. Quickly, Naruto formed a Rasengan in his hand and jumped at Shikamaru, slamming it into his chest and sending him flying backwards.

 

“I guess you could say that Konoha's Yellow Flash has returned” Naruto smiled as he heard laughing in the back of his mind.

 

“That's a good one. Only just learned that technique and already calling it your own” Minato continued to laugh but Kyuubi growled.

 

“Shut up human. It's bad enough that I have to put up with my killer every day of my life from now on but I will not put up with your constant laughing” Kyuubi stuck a claw out of the cage and tried to swipe at the Fourth but missed by metres. Standing up, Minato faced the demon.

 

“You know, I was thinking about that. If I could teach Naruto how to reinforce the seal to its fullest, he may be able to get me out” Kyuubi glared at Minato and growled again.

 

“Fool, if you reinforce that seal anymore, the brat won't be able to use my chakra. Of course you would be able to leave without me escaping but my influence would be forever gone. The only thing I could do is heal him but he would be a weakling”

 

“Aren't you forgetting that curse seal you put on him? If you push enough chakra into it before we fix the seal, then Naruto will be able to access that instead of you giving him chakra. After Naruto has finished using the chakra, he can deactivate the seal and let it replenish”

 

“And what would you do once you get out? Go back to Konoha?”

 

“I would spend the rest of my days with my son and my wife making up for lost time” Now most people would think Minato would perhaps be a little more cautious about saying something so important in his own son's mind. Clearly, he didn't think much of it until Naruto came down to the cage himself.

 

“While I try not to eavesdrop on the conversation's you two have, something you said caught my interest”

 

“And what would that be, Naruto?”

 

“I quote `I would spend the rest of my days with my son and my wife making up for lost time'. You said that less then 30 seconds ago and you don't remember?” Minato scratched the back of his head and grinned.

 

“Oh, well what would you like to know?”

 

“Her name, where she is, where she was my whole life and why you haven't told me earlier”

 

Minato continued to scratch the back of his head with a thoughtful expression on his face. “Well, her name is Kushina Uzumaki. As far as I know, she is still living in the house we shared in a remote area in Fire Country. A Hokage cannot be married without council approval so that was the only way. If people knew she was your mother, the villagers would have killed her for being the mother of a demon spawn, no offence. So the only way I could ensure both of your safety was for her to stay away until you knew I was your father. As for why I haven't told you, well you didn't ask”

 

“Right, well I also heard the part about you wanting to get out. Is it possible?” Naruto asked with a hopeful expression. Having been without a family for his entire life, the simple thought almost caused him to pass out.

 

“If you heard what I said earlier, then yes it is. Thankfully, the technique for me to get out has already been made. However, once I do get out, I will need some time for my chakra to replenish and my body to become strong again”

 

“But will you want to return to Konoha and take your place as Hokage?”

 

“Not until I help you finish your quest and I have confirmation that you will be accepted back into the Leaf”

 

“I doubt it, not after all I've done”

 

“Aww, cry me a river brat. By the way, if you didn't realise your in the middle of a fight”

 

Naruto quickly returned to the outside world to see Shikamaru slowly making his way forwards, severely injured. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see a small figure disappearing into the bushes towards the village but let that thought go when Chouji charged him.

 

“Partial Expansion Jutsu”

 

Chouji's arm grew to an enormous length and aimed for Ryouta who was knocked off his feet.

 

“Shadow Clone Jutsu”

 

Four Shadow Clones appeared in front of Naruto and charged at Chouji, restraining him. Shikamaru rushed to his friend only to get caught by Naruto from behind.

 

“We do not want to kill anyone in this village. We only want to borrow Chouji temporarily to ask him a few questions” Naruto turned to face the Akimichi who glared at him.

 

“Like what?”

 

Ryouta answered this question instead. “Like what you know of the Gobi” Chouji's eyes widened and he stuttered when he spoke. “H-How d-do you k-k-know about t-that? That is an S-ranked s-secret”

 

“We have our sources. You can come peacefully, or we will take you by force”

 

**

Konoha Town Centre

**

Tsunade watched in pure boredom as Sasuke gave his Hokage speech. The crowd were eating it all up. Turning to her side, she saw Konohamaru running up to her with a worried face.

 

“Hokage-sama, there is a fight near the training grounds. Two masked men entered the village and were found by Shikamaru and Chouji and one of them is Naruto”

 

“WHAT”

 

Everyone in the vicinity looked to Tsunade, especially Sasuke who ran up to her and glared.

 

“Tell me all you know” Sasuke continued to glare while Tsunade stood up and grabbed him by his robe top.

 

“You might be Hokage now, but I am the Hokage as well. You have-”

 

“I have every right as Hokage to know of an infiltration attempt on our village. You will tell me now”

 

“Fine, Naruto and an unknown ally of his entered the village earlier and are now fighting Shikamaru and Chouji. Konohamaru here saw this first hand and came to tell me just moments ago” Sasuke nodded and turned around. Motioning with his hand, five ANBU members suddenly appeared in front of him and kneeled.

 

“You five will come with me now. This is an assassination against a possible act of war on Konoha. All villagers will stay here as well as all other ninja of the Leaf. Anybody spotted near the battle will be arrested for defying a direct order from the Hokage” With that, the 6 of them disappeared leaving Tsunade and Konohamaru thinking the exact same thing.

A/N: Ok, well im trying to keep chapters to this length at least. You may remember me saying a couple of chapters ago that Minato won't be able to leave the seal. Well, if that were true I would have spoiled it for you hehe. So, as you've read above, he will be able to use a `Technique already been invented' to escape. A cookie to whoever guesses the technique.

 

If you're wondering why Naruto didn't ask about his mother in the 2.5 years, there is a simple answer. When Naruto is offered techniques to learn, he is like a kid in a candy store and doesn't really care for much else. Naruto has matured but old habits tend to stick.

 

The story behind Ryouta's joining will be revealed in a few chapters time as well as Gaara and Ayaka's return. Anyone want to hazard a guess where I am getting these names from? Im not that great in Japanese class so I had to use the best source I knew of to get them.
