Author's Notes: I forced myself to work extra hard so I could get this chapter out quicker. I still feel kind of bad because it took me 2 weeks to update. Anyway, I am trying to reinforce my writing by using the aid of a thesaurus.

Part 2 Chapter 3

**

“You two are late” Naruto groaned playfully when Gaara and Ayaka walked down the stairs of the Akumade hideout. Naruto also noticed Ryouta glaring at Gaara who merely returned the glare. Ayaka was of course oblivious to all that was happening. Naruto sighed, this all dated back to when they first found Ryouta and they were returning from the Waterfall Village.

 

Flashback

 

“So, Sixth, what type of music do you like?” Naruto sighed in frustration more then anything else. Ryouta had been for the last hour, attempting to flirt with Ayaka. He had tried everything and it was affecting their trip back to the base. Gaara was walking side by side with Naruto when he gave Ryouta his black cloak. Ryouta suddenly got an idea. He slowly started taking off his clothes to change, which had little to no effect on Ayaka. She had long decided that Ryouta wasn't her type and so went back to annoying Gaara.

 

“First, why won't you ever talk to me? We haven't had one private conversation since you guys found me” Ayaka whispered seductively and draped an arm over Gaara's shoulder. Gaara shivered uncontrollably and Ryouta started shaking with anger.

 

`It's decided' He thought, `I have to get Ayaka-chan to like me more then Gaara'

 

End Flashback

 

Ever since then, Ryouta and Gaara haven't been on the best of terms and fought regularly. It was only after a long period of glaring that Naruto noticed the injuries on Gaara and Ayaka along with the appearance of a boy no older then 12 with dark green hair and matching green eyes wearing a tacky brown shirt and black shorts. On his forehead he wore a forehead protector with no village symbol on it.

 

“Well, you two look like you have seen better days” Naruto said with a smile to Ayaka and Gaara, “Was he really that hard to convince?”

 

“No, he just thought we were there to hurt him” Gaara said with a hint of sympathy towards the boy. Naruto then remembered his childhood and how he pushed away Iruka-sensei whenever he tried to talk to him. It wasn't that he didn't like Iruka; he just thought that the man was faking to get Naruto to drop his guard. Naruto was brought back from his memories when the green-haired boy extended his hand and eagerly shook Naruto's.

 

“My name is Kazuki, Gaara-kun told me all about you Naruto-kun” Naruto smiled at Kazuki's enthusiasm.

 

“Well, aren't you enthusiastic? First, what level is he at?” Naruto laughed a bit when Gaara glared at him.

 

“I thought you would be able to tell from our injuries. He really gave us hell when we approached him. He is only a Genin rank as a Homeless-nin but he could be anywhere from high Chuunin to low Special Jounin”

 

“Well then, there is certainly room for improvement. Tomorrow we will have a training session. Kazuki, for now you will team up with Ayaka while Gaara and I will be a second team. Ryouta will be without a teammate until we find the Gobi container, which is why we are all here”

 

“Wait, why can't I be teamed up with Ayaka-chan?” Ryouta said from his spot on the lounge whilst continuing to glare at Gaara.

 

“Well, I thought you might get distracted. Now, will everyone please take a seat so we can discuss the plan? We need to sneak into Konoha, unnoticed this time, and infiltrate the secret basement where the Gobi container is being held. If the information that Chouji Akimichi gave me is correct, the basement is under the Hokage Stone faces which is near the Hokage tower. The Leaf shinobi will most likely aim for me, but also watch yourselves since you are accompanying a Missing-nin. I want you to watch out for several people in particular, and I don't want you to take them on by yourself. Kakashi Hatake possesses the Sharingan eye and uses advanced Ninjutsu including the Chidori and Lightning Blade. Might Guy is the Taijutsu specialist in Konoha and can open the Eight Inner Gates. Jiraiya and Tsunade of the Sannin are too be avoided at all costs. Do not engage them in combat. Sasuke Uchiha will prove to be difficult if he uses the Sharingan, but as long as you are fast enough you should be able to counter it. Any questions?”

 

“Yes” Gaara was the first to speak and stood up. “I think that if you are in danger, or need assistance; shoot a beam of chakra into the air. This will alert most of the shinobi in the vicinity but it will also tell us that you are in trouble. Also, I think you should give them the profile of Neji Hyuuga as well as those other Jounin-sensei” Gaara suggested to Naruto who smiled and nodded.

 

“I hope everyone got all that. The other Jounin-sensei is Kurenai Yuuhi, who is the Genjutsu specialist of Konoha, and Asuma Sarutobi. If you are caught in a Genjutsu, just give off a large chakra flare while in your Cursed Seal state and it should drop the Jutsu being used. Asuma Sarutobi is an Elite Jounin and uses weapons as a form of taijutsu. As for Neji Hyuuga, he uses the Byakugan as well as the Gentle Fist style. This attack can close a persons chakra points. Any more questions?” Naruto looked around to see that Ryouta still had his hand up. “Yes Ryouta”

 

“Will we be getting help from your friend?” Ryouta asked Naruto and Gaara immediately knew what he was talking about.

 

“It isn't finished yet. I still need to learn advanced Sealing Jutsu in order to reinforce the seal” Naruto finished and Ryouta sat down. “If you will all follow me, we will go to the training ground. This time, don't destroy it” Naruto said while looking at Ryouta. As the other four made their way through another door, opposite the entrance. Naruto however lingered behind long enough to perform a Summoning Jutsu and a small version of the Kyuubi appeared.

 

“Stay here and guard the hideout. I can't be 100% sure that Chouji didn't lead any shinobi here”

 

“Idiot, while im out here you might as well have a talk with the other idiot about the seal” Kyuubi growled out at Naruto who nodded and proceeded out to the training grounds.

Hokage Tower

**

“Wow brat, Naruto's technique really did a number on you” Tsunade smirked while she continued tending to Sasuke's wounds. He had received serious burns from Naruto's last technique which was still going.

 

“Quiet, where are my ANBU guards?” Sasuke asked but groaned in pain when he did so. The burns on his face restricted him from talking without pain shooting through his face.

 

“The ANBU who were with you are guarding the area where Naruto's jutsu is still taking place. I would rather nobody else be caught in it” Tsunade went back to a rather large burn on Sasuke's back when a flustered Shizune entered the room with a worried look on her face.

 

“Tsunade-sama, reports have been received of the Stone Village's military force massing near the Stone border. All other Hidden Villages are on high alert and have gathered some of their own shinobi to stop an invasion should one take place” Shizune finished and looked out the window into the sky.

 

“Crap, that's just what I needed. I want more ANBU patrolling around the Forest of Death for signs of the Hyuuga. I will need to know if they have any connection to this-”

 

“TSUNADE-SAMA” Shizune yelled out as a kunai with an exploding tag came whizzing through the window. It was within metres of Tsunade when a large man in a grey overcoat stepped in front of it. No, it wasn't a man but a puppet. Said puppet pulled the kunai out of its arm and tossed it out the window and into the air where it exploded. The illusion around Kankuro dropped and he walked up to Tsunade while still controlling Crow. Kankuro quickly looked out the window to see half a dozen Hyuuga men jumping through the air towards Tsunade's office, kunai in hand. Sasuke made to get up but gasped in pain and fell over. Tsunade cursed and got into fighting stance but eased a bit when she heard a familiar voice.

 

“Wind Scythe Jutsu”

 

The approaching men were swept away by the force of the wind and retreated, soon followed by Temari, Kankuro and 2 Sand Shinobi. Tsunade retook her seat behind her desk and motioned for a Sand chuunin to enter the room. Said Sand ninja took a deep bow and stood in front of Tsunade's desk.

 

“I want you to send a messenger bird to the Sand and request for them to ready their military force. If Stone is to attack us, we will expect our allies, the Sand, to send their forces. Conversely, if Stone attacks the Sand, we will send our shinobi to assist them. Is this understood?” The Sand ninja nodded and quickly ran out of the room. Tsunade started shuffling through some paperwork when Chouji came running into the room, almost knocking the Sand ninja over in the process. Sasuke quickly walked over to Chouji, grabbed his shoulders and held him in the air a little.

 

“How the HELL did you get away? Better yet, where is the Akumade base? You better speak or so help me-”

 

“Actually, Naruto let me go. It didn't seem like he was some mass murdering criminal out to get revenge on the Leaf Village” Chouji pushed Sasuke back again and stood silently. Sasuke collapsed over from the pain and Shizune rushed over to him.

 

“Tsunade-sama, his injuries aren't healing as quickly as they should be. The severe burns that cover his body remain as bad as when we first treated him. At a guess, he'll be out of action for anywhere up to a week” Shizune finished and lifted Sasuke up then aided him out of the office. Tsunade continued staring at Chouji when she finally spoke.

 

“So, Naruto let you go?” Tsunade asked.

 

“Yes”

 

“Did you happen to find out where Naruto and his friends are at the moment?”

 

“H-He let me go well before they stopped. I was a little injured after the” Chouji coughed, “Confrontation and couldn't pursue them at the speed they were travelling” Chouji finished and bowed.

 

“Alright, you should go to the infirmary and get some rest”

 

“Yes Hokage-sama” Chouji quickly walked out of the room to avoid a question he really didn't want to answer. But as fate would have it, Tsunade called back after him.

 

“Chouji, what did you tell Naruto?” Chouji sighed and walked back into the room. Looking at his feet, he spoke.

 

“I-I told him about the Gobi, kinda-”

 

“Damn it! Bear” An ANBU member appeared in front of the desk and saluted Tsunade.

 

“Send a team of ANBU to the Hokage Stone Faces and patrol the whole area. If there is anyone not in the Leaf Alliance, the Leaf Village or special guests into Konoha, I want you to capture them or if necessary, kill them”

 

“Yes Hokage-sama” The ANBU known as Bear disappeared as Chouji quickly walked out the office.

Stone Village

**

“Lord Tsuchikage, all of our shinobi have been gathered and we now await your commands” A Stone Jounin spoke from outside a dark room. The only reply was a quiet “Understood” and the Stone Jounin disappeared. After a couple of minutes, the door opened revealing a man in long brown and white robes with a matching hood covering all but his mouth from view. Another man, this one slightly taller also left the room and stood next to the Tsuchikage. Pale blue skin and what appeared to be gills close to his eyes along with the sharp teeth stood out from the darkness and a scratched mist forehead protector on a band around his head.

 

“Your leader can't come in person?” The Tsuchikage asked Kisame though they continued walking.

 

“Our master is a busy man and we are also preparing” Kisame replied with a nod and the two of them walked out a door and on to a balcony, where below was all of the Stone ninja. Around 1000 ninja stood lined up in battle formation and kept silent. The Tsuchikage stepped forward and addressed the many ninja assembled.

 

“Shinobi of the Stone Village, as many of you know we have formed an alliance with the Hyuuga of Konoha. Now, march to the River Country/Fire Country border and await the signal for the attack on Konoha. You will be given 3 photos from your squad leader; the 3 pictured are to be captured at all costs. Killing them is not an option. As for the rest, kill them all” A loud applause was heard before many of the shinobi ran out of the Stone Village and towards their battle stations. The Tsuchikage turned to Kisame and glared, though Kisame could not see.

 

“Why would you want a two Genin boys and a Chuunin girl? If the Akatsuki wasn't such a big shot organisation, I would kill you right now and kill the two boys for stealing the Stone's ultimate weapon” Tsuchikage finished and Kisame glared at him.

 

“You will be given the girl back when our leader has finished examining her Bijuu. As for the two brats, our leader also needs them to further his goals” Kisame finished and the both of them disappeared to follow the Stone ninja.

Akumade Hideout

**

“I hate that brat, always using me for his own self gain. Why the hell should I listen to that idiot anyway, I'll just watch the base from the outside. Besides, if someone does get in it will be their own demise” Kyuubi was growing impatient with always guarding the Jinchuuriki base and dashed up the stairs and out the door. When he got their, he was greeted with a familiar white-haired pervert with his mouth open.

 

“Well, if it isn't the perve. What the HELL are you doing here? I don't care what the brats dad says, if you don't tell me how you found this place, I'll impale you with all of the tails behind me” Jiraiya disregarded most of what Kyuubi said and stood still, mouth open and eyes wide. When he finally came to his senses, he pointed at the fox.

 

“I-I followed the Akimichi boy here. How did you escape from Naruto?” Jiraiya pulled out a kunai and held it close to him. Kyuubi laughed and walked over to Jiraiya.

 

“Naruto summoned me, so only a part of my conscious self is in this form. I am still confined to the seal and remain that way. By the way, I wouldn't try anything if I was you. I have no idea what will happen if I die but am still in Naruto's stomach. It might have some…negative effects” Kyuubi finished and smirked. Jiraiya sighed and put away his kunai and faced Kyuubi, still not fully trusting him.

 

“I have a question fox. Why did you attack Konoha?”

 

“I knew this was coming. There are few things in this world that are more sinister then myself. The leader of an almost extinct clan in Konoha used me for his own goals and had me attack the Leaf Village”

 

“You're obviously talking about the Uchiha clan, but you can't be referring to Madara Uchiha, he should have been dead way before you attacked”

 

“He is and remains the only Uchiha to completely unlock the Sharingan's abilities. He has what is called the Eternal Sharingan. After his own eyesight faded from overuse of the Mangekyou, Madara stole his owns brothers eyes, unlocking the Eternal Mangekyou, one that never fades. He controlled me and had me attack the Leaf Village. While he was controlling me, I remember that idiot saying something about a `Plan B', which was something to do with teaching Itachi the secrets of the Sharingan. I do not know his full intentions”

 

“Where is Naruto? I want to speak with him. If you are constantly being summoned from the seal, it could be putting pressure on it and causing the seal to weaken”

“Well, right now the brat is training with the others. It's his choice if he wants to speak with you or not. Besides, he's been learning about Sealing for a while and maybe you can help him”

 

“Wait, why would Naruto need to learn about Sealing?”

 

“He's found a way to speak with the man that sealed me in the brat in the first place. Naruto wants to learn how to completely fix the seal so my influence is gone. By doing so he will be able to free the Fourth from the seal”

 

“Wait, Minato's alive!?”

Author's Notes: I stuck to the original version of the Kyuubi attack on Konoha, and how Madara was able to use Kyuubi, as you read above. As I usually mention, I try not to stray too far from the plot but in the future of this fanfic, the main plot will be almost gone lol.
