Summary: Sasuke wakes up with more than just a crick in his neck. SasuNaruSasu! [Sequel to Late Night Grind]
A/N: Okay, so it wasn’t exactly a two-shot. I decided to separate them because Late Night Grind was a yaoi, but this one isn’t. Let’s call it shounen-ai with a light sprinkling of yaoi. Heh heh…review!
Sasuke blinked against the bright rays of sunlight streaming into the tent from outside, wondering how long ago he had fallen asleep. Naruto was gone, leaving only a warm spot where he had been laying. The dark haired teen sat up slowly, both his neck and lower back protesting.
He located and pulled on his boxers, wincing as the fabric brushed his sore bottom. After pulling on his pants, he plucked up his shirt, frowning as he noticed the rip going up one side. He couldn’t wear the shirt like that. There was no way he’d get away with it.
Shrugging, and hoping for the best, Sasuke slipped the shirt over his head and pulled on his sandals. Naruto must’ve been already eating breakfast.
Sasuke crawled out of the tent, bright sunlight dazzling his eyes. He covered them with a hand as he stood up and dusted off his knees with his other hand. Naruto and Sakura were sitting side by side, bent over and laughing about something. Ignoring the sudden pang of jealousy that swept through him, Sasuke reached into the tent and pulled out a fluffy black towel. The rustling caught the blond boy’s attention, and he looked behind them to see Sasuke. The Uchiha watched as a soft smile lifted the corners of Naruto’s mouth.
“Ah! Good morning, Sasuke-kun!” Sakura chirped, a 100-watt smile lighting up her face. She eyed the towel in his hands, and an impish light entered her green eyes. “Going to bathe?”
Sasuke merely glared at her, a tick forming in his eyebrow. She definitely knew something. He didn’t know how, but she knew. Sasuke scowled at them both before walking off towards the hot spring close to their camp. He couldn’t wait to soak his sore muscles in the bubbling water.
When Sasuke finally reached the hot spring, he shrugged out of his clothes, annoyed at the rip going up the side. He couldn’t sew for the life of him, and he didn’t want to ask Sakura. He knew it would only lead to annoying questions he didn’t want to answer.
Sasuke dipped his toe into the water, checking to make sure it wasn’t too hot before he slipped underneath the water. He felt the muscles in his lower back loosen, and he sighed as he found a smooth rock under the water to sit on. He leaned his head back against the rocks, and shut his eyes against the bright sun.
He could feel it baking his skin, but he hardly cared about that. His thoughts kept traveling back to last night, remembering the feeling of having Naruto inside of him. He wanted to feel it again.
“Oi, you’ll get a sunburn if you aren’t careful.” Sasuke jumped back to present time, almost drowning when his bottom slipped off the rock. He heard laughter as he came back up, sputtering as his eyes fell on Naruto. The blond boy was leaning against a tall rock, the zipper on his orange jacket torn on one side. At closer inspection, the zipper itself was still zipped up. “You messed up my jacket, teme.” Naruto pulled off said item and threw it somewhere off to the side, then reached for the bottom of his black shirt and lifted it over his head. Light red, hard to see marks littered his chest, evidence of last night. Sasuke felt a hot blush clawing at his cheeks.
“You ruined my shirt, dobe.” Sasuke said nonchalantly, watching as his blond teammate kicked off his sandals then pulled off his pants and boxers. He stepped into the water, and made his way over to Sasuke, his blue eyes smoldering. Sasuke felt his stomach clench in anticipation.
“So how do you feel today?” Naruto asked, as he reached up to wrap his arms around Sasuke’s neck. Before the Uchiha had time to answer, Naruto stood on his tiptoes to give him a soft kiss, and pressed their bodies closer together. “Mmm. You were moving around last night like you were in pain.”
Sasuke’s blush only darkened as he bent to kiss the blond again, trying to distract him from asking anymore questions. Naruto melted into the kiss, grinning slightly as he slid his hands down the dark haired teen’s sides, stopping briefly at those pale hips. His hands vanished under the water and gingerly cupped Sasuke’s ass.
“Does it hurt?” Naruto asked, blushing lightly as he moved his hands back up to the taller boy’s hips. Sasuke shifted his weight; his blush darkening as Naruto’s smirk grew. “Aww, poor Sasuke. Want me to kiss it for you?”
“Yes.” Sasuke deadpanned, trying not to smirk even as Naruto gaped at him.
“Seriously, Sasuke?” The blond blinked, moving his hands back down again. Naruto grinned as he stood on his toes to kiss the Uchiha, using his hands to bring their hips closer together. The whiskered boy brushed his tongue over a soft bottom lip, then nipped softly at it. “I guess I can do that. Now just bend-“
“Ahem.”
“-over…Kakas hi-sensei!” Naruto squeaked, turning three shades of red as he hurriedly let go of Sasuke and took ten steps back. The silver haired man snickered as both boys tried to hide themselves in the water.
“I’d leave and let you two, uh, continue…but it’s almost time to go.” Kakashi’s grin was absolutely evil as he flipped a page in his book, not even pretending to read it. Sasuke had had enough of feeling embarrassed and waded over to Naruto, grasping both of those whiskered cheeks in his palms and trying to remove his tonsils by way of tongue. The Jounin didn’t even bat an eye. “Well, when you’re ready, I guess.” He said simply, before heading back to camp. Sasuke pulled back just as the silver haired man disappeared, and gave the blond’s lips one more gentle, affectionate lick.
“Bastard.” Naruto groaned, a little hot and bothered after that kiss. Sasuke was already moving away, towards their clothes, a smirk tugging the corners of his mouth up. He could hear Naruto splashing behind him, muttering about bastard who teased too much. Sasuke bent to pick up his clothes, and felt a pair of hands place themselves of his hips. His cheeks flushed when he felt the blond’s half-hard member brush against his ass. “Don’t tempt me, Sasuke-teme.”
Naruto released his hips and moved to pick up his own clothes. They dressed in silence, both boys acutely aware of the other’s movements. When they were fully clothed, the blond seized Sasuke’s wrist before he could walk back to camp.
“I have to pay you back.” Naruto murmured, seizing the back of Sasuke’s head. He smashed their lips together and shoved his tongue past those yielding, pink lips. For several long moments, it was nothing but unabashed groping, clashing tongues, and soft gasps. When Sasuke was thoroughly dazed, the blond pulled back and grinned at his work. “All right, teme, let’s go.” Ignoring the murderous glare from Sasuke, the whiskered boy brushed past him and walked up the hill leading to camp.
Sasuke slowly walked after him, muttering darkly and wanting nothing more than throwing the blond boy down and demanding sex. He scowled, realizing he was on the verge of turning into Kakashi. Soon enough he’d be immersed in one of those books like it was his life. He realized he’d never be the same stoic Sasuke everyone knew ever again. Not with Naruto…you know. He couldn’t even think about it.
When he got to camp, every thing was already packed away. Naruto was holding onto two bags instead of one, and Sakura and Kakashi were waiting patiently some couple feet away. The blond’s grin was smug as he handed Sasuke his bag. The Uchiha merely glared at him as he took it and out it on.
“All right. We’re heading out.” Kakashi said, motioning with his hand for them to head out. Team 7 followed closely behind, Sasuke and Naruto lagging behind them, whispering to each other. Kakashi didn’t bother to tell them to hurry up; he was just glad things were going back to something close to normal.
“Uh, it was…enlightening.” The blond grinned, trying to pry the taller boy’s arms from around his neck. He still had to go see Tsunade about the mission. “We’ve gotta see Tsunade-baa-chan about the mission still. I’ll talk to you later, okay?”
“I’ll treat you to some ramen.” Sai pulled away and ruffled spiky, blond hair. The owner of that hair just grinned and kept walking, acutely aware of the murderous vibe emanating from his dark haired best friend. Or was it boyfriend now? Deciding to save it for later, Naruto followed Kakashi to Hokage Tower and up the stairs for an hour or so of mission debriefing and idle gossip.
“Sai, I really want to spend some time with Sasuke. Can we just-“
“Are you hungry? I’ll treat you to ramen. You must be hungry.” Sai cut right over him, ignoring his protests of spending time with Sasuke. The ex-ROOTS member simply walked faster and talked over the sputtering blond. “So how was the mission? Oh, right, you probably can’t tell me. Well, that’s okay.”
“Sai-“
“So has Sakura-chan started to like you yet? Are you excited? I know I-“
“Sai-“ Naruto groaned, tired of trying to tell Sai to let him go. The dark haired ninja hated Sasuke, that was no secret, and they were both so obviously competing to be his best friend. But now Sasuke was more than just a friend and every move Sai made would only make him jealous.
As if conjured by the blond’s thoughts, Sasuke appeared next to him, his eyebrows drawn tight together.
“What do you want?” Sai asked, his voice holding more than a hint of animosity. Two pairs of dark eyes narrowed, and Sai let out a short laugh. Their little competition was still going.
“I’m coming with you.” Sasuke said in a bored tone, acting like he could care less about the whole situation. But Naruto could read the underlying, possessive tone in his voice. He was beyond not caring.
A sudden thought struck the blond, “Didn’t you already come with me, Sasuke-teme?” Naruto teased, unable to ignore the double meaning to Sasuke’s words. The meaning was lost on Sai, but the blond was pleased to see that it wasn’t on Sasuke. The Uchiha’s cheeks were flushed crimson. Naruto was even more pleased to see that possessive light in Sasuke’s eyes dim only slightly. “Heh. Just keep that in mind until later, ne? We can hang out later.” The blond brushed his fingertips discreetly up Sasuke’s arms, smirking when he was awarded with goosebumps.
“Bastard.” Sasuke hissed, although his eyes showed a hint of amusement. Naruto was glad to see it. “I’ll leave you two alone then. I hate ramen.” Onyx eyes hardened as they landed on Sai, the dark haired ninja looking smug like he’d won their little competition. Oh, what he didn’t know. “I’ll see you later, dobe. And you’d better come tonight. You’ll have to make it up to me if you don’t.”
It was Naruto’s turn to blush as he watched his dark haired best friend-or was it boyfriend?-walked away, a slight hitch in his step. He realized that he liked watching Sasuke walk away, as long as he wasn’t walking away to Orochimaru again-who was dead anyway.
He couldn’t wait for tonight. Maybe he’d be able to tell Sasuke how he really felt. Explain to him why he wouldn’t say anything to him until last night.
Maybe he’d finally be able to tell Sasuke just how much he loved him.

“Naruto!” A voice yelled, just as soon as said blond walked into Konoha. There was a flash of black and silver as Sai attached himself to the whiskered boy, nuzzling his cheek against a tanned one. “I missed you! How was the mission?!”“Uh, it was…enlightening.” The blond grinned, trying to pry the taller boy’s arms from around his neck. The minute he stepped outside, Naruto was smothered with questions from an over-excited Sai. The dark haired ninja had wound his arms around the blond’s neck and was slowly pulling him away from his teammates. The blond boy looked back towards them, seeing the half-jealous, half-murderous look on Sasuke’s face. Naruto felt his heart sink.“Sai, I really want to spend some time with Sasuke. Can we just-“

A/N: So that’s the end. Or is it? Ha! Not quite. There’s a sequel to The Morning After called One Time Thing. It’s pretty much a one-shot-also a yaoi!-about positions. You know, seme and uke. Heh heh. I don’t know when it’ll be out, but keep a look out for it! Ja ne! And review!
