The Mission

On his was to Lee's dojo, Shizusuki was thinking of when he gave Lee Sadosuke's letter.

Flashback

"Lee-kun, here I have something for you."

"Hmm, what is it Shizusuki-kun?" Shizusuki hands him the letter. Already knowing what is said on it, he had no reason to ask about it. And he expected the worse, "Shizusuki-kun, did Dosuke-san give this to you?" Shizusuki could only nod his answer. Waiting for the tears to come, he was surprised to see Lee smiling.

"Lee-kun..."

"I must work harder so I can protect Dosuke-san with my life!" Shizusuki only smiled, Lee-kun you're going to surpass a lot of the people here.

End flashback

Shizusuki walks into Lee's dojo and sees no one there. He calls out, "Lee-kun, are you here?"

"Konoha Shenpu!" Came Lee's cry, and he comes flying with his spinning kick. Shizusuki in turn grabs his leg along with the other coming towards him he ducks and throws Lee to the side.

"Lee-kun, how long have you been waiting?" Lee gets up.

"It seems you are a strong opponent, I have been waiting ever since you gave me Dosuke-san's letter." He dusts hiself off. "Are you here to train with me or are you to challenge the dojo?" Lee gets into his fighting pose.

"Neither, I'm here to request for your participation in a mission. Will you join?"

"Yes, I will be honored."

"Good, join me at nightfall by the village's gate."

"Ok, I will be there."

At the village gate...

"Ok, this is a nightwatch, we will be doing this for a total of three nights. Every morning a part of our mission is over and we must rest for the next night. Understand?" Everyone nods. "Ok, Neji-kun I want you to stand at the Hokage stone faces and use your Byakugan to keep watch over the area. You may rest at fifteen minute intervals."

"Hai"

"Tenten-chan, I will need you to keep watch over the streets by walking across the roofs of the building, this way you will have open room for you ninja tools."

"Hai, Shizusuki!"

"And, Lee-kun with your high speed I want you to patrol the area in which Gai-sensei does his laps around Konoha."

"Yes, I shall do my best!"

"And I will be walking the streets, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. Does everyone understand what they are to be doing?" Everyone nods again. "Alright, off to your positions!" All four ninja jump off to their respective positions.

Later.....

Shizusuki looks up into the sky, "Almost dawn."

"Yeah," Tenten agreed.

"Neji-kun, how long have you had your Byakugan going?"

"About an hour now," said a tired Neji.

"Take a rest."

"Hai.." Neji deactivates his Byakugan.

"Yahoooo!" yelled an over excited Lee.

"Lee, what-"

"Don't even go there, Tenten," Neji said, cutting her off.

"I know I may regret this, but Lee-kun what's going on?" Asked Shizusuki.

"I'm trying not to think of my lover."

"Lover? You mean Dosuke-san?" Asked Tenten. Oh no, thought Shizusuki. Lee started crying again, yelling out 'Come back to me, Dosuke-san!!'

"Lee-kun, calm down." Shizusuki ordered, and Lee calmed.

"Aieeeee!!" Tenten screeched.

"Tenten-chan what is it?!" Asked a worried Shizusuki.

"Get it off of me!!"

"Neji-kun, what is it?!"

"It's a...a," Neji sighs, "It's a bug."

"A bug? Tenten-chan, just flick it off." Tenten goes to smack the bug, but it flew away and she ended up hitting herself. Lee starts laughing.

"A bug?! You are scared of a bug?! And you call yourself a ninja!" Lee laughs at Tenten.

"Dosuke-san!!" Yelled an embarrased Tenten. Lee starts crying again.

"Lee-kun, Tenten-chan control yourselves now!" Shizusuki yelled, then asked Neji, "Neji-kun, how do you put up with them?"

"I stay far far away."

"I thought you like Tenten-chan."

"...." Neji was silent, then said, "Let's not make that public."

"So she doesn't know?"

"No."

"I have a plan." Shizusuki was grinning.

"Hey, what's that?" Tenten asked. And everyone looks at the gate.

"Neji-kun, check."

"Alright, it's...."
