Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ The Perfect Stranger (Itachi) [FINISHED] ❯ Beginning & Ending ( Chapter 1 )
[ A - All Readers ]
“ No! Mommy!”
There began my story. In ever story, there was a happy ending or a happily ever after. No, my story will begin bad and end worst. Or at least that’s what I thought. I will tell you my story, but not only am I going to tell you my story, I am also going to tell you how it ended. How my story is a story unlike any others, a story that has never been told.
I am a genin. No, I am a rookie among rookies. My team, nay people I work with, was Sakura Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sasuke Uchiha. Oh my name! That’s right, my name, I forgot to tell you didn’t I? Well my name is Naomi Naginata. It’s the first week of our newly genin training. I hated it. But it was necessary, unfortunately. Everyone was there, everyone except Kakashi.
“God! Why is Kakashi always late?” Sakura groaned.
“Yeah!” Naruto agreed
And as usual Sasuke and I would stay quiet because of their idiocy. Then he finally came. More out of the blue, they yelled at him and with his same excuse too. It seemed like an endless routine of the same punch line. How dull.
“Naomi!” Kakashi asked
“What is it?”
“The Hokage would like to see you.” he replied
I was the only student that was called down to the Hokage’s office more than once in their lifetime and more then the usual. Being ninjas, we arrived there not early, not late. I stepped out of their line and stood straight in front of his desk. He was the third hokage. I stared down, emotionless as ever though I reacted inside like a normal person… in my eyes.
“You’re grandmother has passed away” He bluntly spoke
And. So what? Yes I know what you’re thinking. You think I’m some ungrateful idiot who doesn’t are for her own grandmother, for her own blood. Yes I am but I wouldn’t call myself ‘mean’ if my own grandmother could care less about me.
“I understand how you feel” He lied
See? He, the kind hokage of the Leaf Village, understands my hatred of my grandmother. Though I wouldn’t call it hatred if I didn’t care what would happen to her.
“I have already arranged a funeral for your grandmother. We shall hold tomorrow at 10 o’clock”
And then I left, not caring, not thinking. I didn’t care. And if I did, I wouldn’t even feel it.
