Chapter 13

 

Church came running outside. Tucker had already finished painting one of the base walls white and was busy drawing a red cross.

“That's lopsided.” Church noticed.

“Shut it, you can't do better I bet. Besides, this is all Caboose needs to convince himself it's a hospital inside the base.” Tucker snorted.

“Yeah, I guess…” Church looked around, “But where are we going to get Sheila?”

“Oh…” Tucker didn't have an answer to that. “Fuck.” He thought for a minute. “Maybe we could just borrow a ghost from the reds or something…” he suggested.

“From those retards? No way!” Church snarled. “Damn…oh, whatever, just draw him a picture of a tank and be done with it!” he snapped and ran off.

“Wait Church! Oh great, what an asshole…” Tucker too out a piece of paper. “I guess I have no choice.”

“And this is your bed. This is where nap time happens. Remember nap time comes after snack time.” Caboose said. He was touring the blue base with Naruto and Sasuke.

“So…where's the bathroom?” Sasuke asked, but before Caboose could answer, Church came running in.

“Um…Caboose, I'll take over for now. You go visit Sheila.” He said.

“Oh goody!” Caboose exclaimed and ran off. He stopped as soon as he saw the hospital. “Oh, wow, I never knew that was here. Sheila will be so happy to see me!” he exclaimed and ran in. “Sheila! I came to visit you! I brought flowers!” he looked at his own empty hands. “Oh no! They ran away…Oh well…” he turned back to the picture of the tank. “How are you?”

The picture said nothing.

“Are you feeling better?”

Silence followed.

“Can you talk?”

In the shadows, Tucker was beginning to panic.

“Are you mad at me?” asked Caboose.

“Err…no…I am not *cough* mad at you. “ Said the `picture'. “I um…missed you to, lil blue dude…”

In the shadows, Tucker silently swore. He was going to kill Andy.
