Chapter 29

 

“Can you please slow down?”

Sasuke didn't pay any attention to the request. The four of them had been hiking for miles already.

“Um…Mr. Prince…nap time comes before pants time…and my pants time has just passed…”

“What?!” Sasuke snapped, stopping abruptly.

“Pants time comes before…”

“No, no, I heard you. What is pants time?”

“You don't want to know.” Tucker recommended.

Church was silent. He was busy concentrating on the map in his hands. As they paused to take a break, Caboose came over to him.

“You're holding it upside down.”

“What?” Church looked up.

“It's upside down.” Caboose repeated.

“No its not.” Church shot back, angrily.

“Yes it is.”

“No its not.”

“Yes it is.”

“Caboose…”

“Yes it is.”

“STOP!”

“Yes it is.'

“CABOOSE SHUT IT, IT IS NOT UPSODE DOWN DAMMIT!”

Caboose stared at Church in silence.

“Do you even know what it is?” asked Tucker.

“No.” Caboose answered.

“Then fuck off.” growled an angry Church.

Before long they started out again. Church was ion the lead now because he had the map. If you chose to trust his words, then O'Malley's base was just beyond the mountain. As they approached the top of it, something reached their senses.

“Does anyone hear that?” Tucker asked.

“I don't hear anything.” Sasuke said, he was standing on top of the mountain, looking out at the plane below. Tucker came up to stand beside him.

“I told you we should of asked for directions.” He said.

“You didn't tell me anything.” Church groaned.

They stared out at the vast desert below. The winds blew about, creating sand dunes.

“Oh boy a sand box!” exclaimed Caboose.

“Sasuke will come and rescue me.” Naruto decided. The thought calmed him and he curled up on the cold metal floor of his cage and fell asleep,

but not for long.
