“You can’t be serious!” A female shrieked as her fists tighten against her sides while gnawing on her bottom lip in annoyance. Her black mixed with crimson hair swayed slightly in the wind as her dark gray eyes narrowed dangerously at the blonde haired male in front of him. She knew the man’s student was somewhere around the area, but he was probably helping with the repositioning of civilians and children.

“Tsubaki, this has be to be done.” The blonde haired male spoke as he smiled sadly at her. Both of them could only watch as the agonizing screams echoed from the battle only miles ahead. The young woman known as Tsubaki just wanted to drag him away from this fight and help him find another way to subdue the bijuu without the lost of his life.

“Minato, what about Naruto? He’s going to need a dad…” Tsubaki spoke as sadness was laced in her voice. She was trying to keep the tears at bay since she already lost her older sister because she didn’t survive child birth. Leaving the infant Naruto only with Minato as a parent, but apparently the fates weren’t going to allow this to happen.

Minato just smiled at Tsubaki and replied, “He still have family… you and Shizuka are still here in the village and his only blood relations left. I already took care of the council, so don’t worry about it.” Minato walked towards Tsubaki until he was only a few inches from her person and gave her small smile.

“Tsubaki… I know I can trust Naruto with you and Shizuka… if he was ever going to be with someone as his parent, I want him to know his families’ lineage… the Namikaze and Uzamaki lines… and you will be able to help him deal with fan girls if he ever gets any.” Minato said as he was slightly joking about the last part. He placed his hand on her head and ruffled her hair, messing up her black and crimson locks.

Sighing tiredly, Tsubaki knew she lost this fight with Minato. She knew that Minato would do anything to protect Konoha, to protect his precious people. But losing Minato would hurt them gravely… to her, Minato was her best friend and confidant even though, he would tease her about her crush on Kakashi sometimes with her older sister, Kushina majority of the time.

“Take care of Naruto for me, alright.” Minato said as he gave her his usual smile and went off to join the fray, doing what he was planning to do in the first place, sealing the out of control bijuu into his only treasure to be valued as a hero by his own family.

“Awww, he is finally sleeping now.” A gentle voice spoke as a single finger was tenderly tracing the spiral that decorated his stomach. The dimly lit room only held three people within it’s walls with the small child. A cough came from the other person’s mouth as a sagely voice spoke, “Already taking a liking with the child, Shizuka.”

The one known as Shizuka just flashed the older male a gentle smile when she took her nephew in her arms. He was so tiny with his full head of blonde hair in her arms even though one would have notice the large swell of her own stomach, signifying her own pregnancy. “Of course I am, Hiruzen-sama… he’s so adorable.”

“You think all babies are adorable, koiishi.” Another male voice spoke as his dark brown eyes were now open, looking at his wife holding her nephew in her arms as he was picturing her holding their own child in her arms. Shizuka just blushed and replied, “Oh… you’re finally awake, Jiraiya-koi.”

Jiraiya just let a small smirk adorned his lips even though he was known all around in the shin obi countries as a womanizing pervert, there would always be one woman that would hold his heart and that was Shizuka, who was pregnant with their child. Hiruzen just let out another cough, interrupting the lovers as Shizuka once again blushed and Jiraiya just glance over at his teacher and Hokage.

“You two already know that we still have tell the villagers about this.” Hiruzen said as he went back to smoking his slim pipe.

“Hokage-sama…” Shizuka said loudly enough, that barely both males could hear her. She was worried about her nephew’s safety. If they would tell the villagers, that would put the newborn at risk.

“What’s wrong, Shizuka?” asked Hiruzen as both males turned their attention to her as she spoke while her sapphire blue eyes were gazing down lovingly at her nephew, “Can we just tell the villagers that the Kyuubi is dead and Minato… he died, dealing the last blow to the bijuu? If we tell the villagers that the Kyuubi is sealed into their son, they would try to attack him and I think Minato and Kushina wouldn’t want that for their child… to be hated for something he couldn’t control.”

Hiruzen nodded his head as his student’s lover request and spoke, “It shall be done, but you or Tsubaki must tell the child the truth when he is of age and ready to accept it.” Shizuka just nodded her head as Jiraiya noticed the wobbling in her stance.

“Shizuka, go home with Naruto and both of you get some rest.” Jiraiya suggested even though it did sound like a demand. Shizuka just flash him a grateful smile and left with the infant Naruto in her arms, leaving Hiruzen and Jiraiya by themselves.

Hiruzen turned his attention towards his student and asked in a calm tone, “Are you two still going through it?”

Jiraiya nodded as he spoke in a calm tone, “She’s been having dreams about a large wolf with five tails ever since she’s been pregnant. You know the Uzamaki female line are known as seers and oracles like the Kirama clan from Kumogakure no Sato. The Houkou no Gobi has been speaking to her through her dreams as the bijuu knew some type of omen would happened that all the bijuu would be needed to help to stop it.”

Hiruzen just nodded his head as he asked calmly, “You know of all the risks involved with the Gobi’s sealing… yet you are still willing to take this risk.”

“I would do anything to make that woman smile… to make her happy,” Jiraiya spoke as he glanced over at his teacher. “Is this how you felt about your wife before she died?” All Hiruzen could do was nod at his student’s question. It was remarkable how much of a positive influence that Shizuka was to his student, even though, he didn’t fully stop his perversity for his novels, but it was at least tolerable to an extent.

“Now I guess we have some business to attend with the council.” Hiruzen spoke as he placed his sakkat on his head, steeling his resolve against the council and readying himself to speak with the citizens of Konoha. Jiraiya walked towards the door and opened the door, leaving the area. Hiruzen just let a small smile adorn his lips, “Minato… only you can touch the most unlikely of people." Hiruzen closed the door behind him as the candles diminished themselves, erasing all traces of being occupied.

"Awww... he's so adorable," cooed a pink haired woman carrying her own bundle of joy in her arms, decorated with curls of light pink hair.

"Thank you, Isuzu-san. This is my nephew Naruto." Shizuka introduced the infant Naruto to the pink haired duo. "I see that Sakura is enjoying her daily exercise."

Isuzu just laughed gently as she noticed the chubby fingers of Naruto were grabbing onto the fabric of Shizuka's shirt. "I guess you can't wait for your own child to come out and join the world."

Shizuka just nodded her head and answered in gentle tone, "Even though, in a world like this, the new generation are a current hope in protecting and keeping the peace that we currently have today. It's our job to teach them and guide them on the right path."

Isuzu gently patted Shizuka's hand as she response, "It's somewhat surprising that someone your age is this wise, but I guess it's because of personal experience."

Shizuka just huffed indifferently at the older woman as Isuzu continued, "Now it's time for me to continue on check on the survivors of the battle."

When Isuzu walked past her and Naruto, Shizuka looked down at the bundle and commented, "It's a good thing we took the long way, huh." Earning a small sneeze as her answer, Shizuka just smiled as she continued to the Uzumaki compound to check to see was there any damage done to it.

"So the bijuu is truly gone," said an elderly male with glasses brimming his nose.

Hiruzen nodded his head as on his left, Jiraiya stood and on his right, Tsubaki, who joined up with them after they explained what they were going to tell the elders before this meeting. Since Hiruzen already assured the citizens of Konohagakure no Sato that the bijuu and their Yondaime Hokage was no more and now it was currently time to reassured the council.

The elderly male glanced over at Tsubaki and asked, "Do you sense the bijuu's chakra?" Tsubaki shook her head at the elderly man's question as she closed her eyes, just listening to the movements of the room. Before anyone could gather what was happening, Tsubaki held another shinobi on the cold ground as she had a kunai dug into the shinobi's neck and her free hand was twisting the shinobi's arm painfully in the wrong direction.

The normal gray eyes were currently silver and crimson as she was staring at the bandaged elder as she spat out with venom dripping from each word, "I hope you have a good explanation for this, Danzo."

The one known as Danzo just huffed indifferently and spoke, "I don't have to speak to a lowly shinobi." A loud scream echoed in the room as loud snapping noise echoed within the walls. Before the female could go after the crippled male, Jiraiya quickly restrained her from going after him.

"This meeting is adjourn," Hiruzen quickly spoke in a tone that left no room for arguments. The council of three quickly left the room, leaving Jiraiya and Hiruzen to calm down the angered Tsubaki. Right when the doors were closed after the council's departure, Tsubaki released a loud scream that was pent up inside.

"That fucking bastard! Who the fuck do he think he is?" Tsubaki yelled as Jiraiya looked over at Hiruzen, who was smoking his pipe as he looked down at the current dead Root member.

"Calm down Tsubaki, you have to be good role model for both your niece and nephew." Hiruzen spoke as he looked at the anger female. He felt the killing intent slowly disappearing from the lithe figure of Tsubaki.

"Remind me never to get on your bad side." Jiraiya spoke as Tsubaki just smirked.

"Believe me, Shizuka-chan has the worst temper at the moment." Jiraiya's left eyebrow twitched in annoyance as Tsubaki gave them the peace sign and disappeared, leaving the two males by themselves.

"That could have went better..." Jiraiya sighed as he wiped the sweat that was forming on his forehead.

"But we did accomplish what Minato, Shizuka and Kushina wanted..." Hiruzen countered his student as he took another puff from his pipe. Jiraiya just nodded his head to what his teacher said as he gotten himself up from the ground.
