Saturday came way too fast for the three. They were already up and about by ten that morning and were trying, in their own ways how to break all of the news they had to their parents. Naruto of course was going to be the one telling Sasuke’s parents that he was pregnant, considering the fact that Sasuke had to deal with his own explanation of having cancer. He knew today was going to be extremely hard on all that were involved, but he knew for a fact that Sasuke was going to take the brunt of whatever his parents had to say. He knew that Itachi was the favorite child of the family, he had been to a few dinner gatherings and noticed how little Sasuke was talked to, or paid attention to in general. He figured that Sasuke was pretty used to it, since he didn’t seem all to bothered or offended. He learned differently however when he asked his lover about it later that night. Sasuke had gotten in a huff and didn’t really talk to Naruto for the rest of the night. The blond looked up as he saw the object of his thoughts walk up to him. He smiled as Sasuke approached, worry etched onto the handsome features. “Stop worrying so much Sasu, we’ll be fine.”

Sasuke sighed and sat down next to his blond lover on the couch. Naruto didn’t understand, his parents were the worst kind of people to break bad news to. Not that Naruto having his baby was bad news, but having cancer certainly was. “I don’t think you really understand the full impact these things are going to make on them. Plus I know for a fact that they’ll end up blaming me for everything. Although it was mostly my fault for getting you pregnant.” Once he saw the look that statement got him, he quickly continued. “I just meant that if it wasn’t for me, we could have avoided this and maybe waited a bit until we were ready.”

Naruto understood Sasuke’s reasoning, but seriously, the guy could make you feel like shit even when he was complimenting you. “I know baby, it’s just that I really don’t have any regrets for having the baby.” He knew Sasuke didn’t either, but sometimes he wondered a bit.

Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto and gently kissed him. “I don’t either, it’s just that, it would be a lot easier if we were sure we could handle being parents. We are only eighteen.”

Naruto nodded and rested his head on Sasuke’s shoulder. “So what time do we have to leave?” He really wasn’t looking forward to the evening ahead.

Sasuke looked at the clock on the wall and sighed. “In about three hours. I think I’ll take a shower.” He stood up after giving Naruto one more kiss and headed off to the bathroom.

The car parked in front of a huge three story house; a house that Itachi and Sasuke knew all too well and weren’t too happy with the idea of going into said house. Sasuke stared out the window with a glare and looked over at Itachi. “Can’t we just go home and say we couldn’t make it?” It usually wasn’t like Sasuke to whine, but when it came to his parents, he seemed to turn into a little crybaby.

Itachi sighed and shook his head. “We have to go now, we already told them. Besides, it’d be better to just get it over with now rather than later.” Itachi didn’t want to be there just as much as Sasuke, but he knew that it would just be easier to get it over with. They wouldn’t have to stay for that long. Hopefully Sasuke would stay calm and not throw a tantrum while in the house.

Naruto just sat quietly, not really having an opinion on the matter. Plus, he wasn’t feeling very well, and he was extremely worried about his stomach. He didn’t want to get sick in his lover’s parent’s house, what an impression that would make. Even though he had already met the Uchihas before, he didn’t want to give them another reason for them to be disgusted with him. They pretty much blamed him for ‘making their son’s gay’ and hated him ever since the first meeting. “Can we at least just stay in the car for a minute, I feel like shit.”

Sasuke cast a worried look over to Naruto and grabbed the blonde’s hand. “Do you think you’re going to be sick? We can go home.” It may have sounded a bit desperate even to his own ears, but Sasuke did not mean it to sound that way. He wasn’t using Naruto’s pregnancy symptoms to worm his way out of seeing his parents. He was actually genuinely concerned about his lover.

Naruto thought about it for a moment. He wanted to get the night over with just as much as Sasuke and Itachi did, so he figured he’d just deal with it. “I’ll be fine. Let’s jus t go, I need some air anyway.” He opened the car door and stepped out, breathing in a lung full of fresh air. Feeling a bit better, he waited for Sasuke and Itachi to get out before walking with them to the front door where Itachi proceed to ring the doorbell.

The door was opened a minute later by Makoto Uchiha who put on her most believable loving smile and welcomed the three inside. “It’s so good to see you.” she said in sugar coated excitement. She bestowed a petite kiss to first Itachi’s cheek, then to Sasuke’s. She held her hand out for Naruto who dutifully shook it gently. “Come in, dinners almost ready.” she said as she led the way into the dining area.

The three followed her into the open room where some dishes were already laid out on the table. Sasuke’s skin was crawling, he really, really did not want to be there. He didn’t have any sort of appetite, and with the way his nerves were, he was starting to feel a bit nauseous. He made sure to where a long sleeved dress shirt so that his parents wouldn’t see the tube running up his arm. Best to tell them first rather than them asking questions. Sasuke noted that his father was already seated at the table, reading a book of some kind, no surprise there.

Fugaku looked up from his reading and gave the three a nod in greeting. He may not agree with his son’s decisions in life, but they were his son’s and common courtesy was always bred into him. His eyes landed on the blond that was accompanying them. Naruto was a different story altogether. He never liked Naruto, and frankly, he didn’t want to try to like him. He ruined his son’s futures and lives, and he would never forgive Naruto for that. “I heard there were some things you wanted to tell your mother and me?” he asked, looking at Sasuke.

Sasuke nodded as he took a seat next to Naruto, Itachi sitting on his other side. He was contemplating on which piece of news he was going to tell his parent’s first. If he told them Naruto was pregnant first, they wouldn’t even listen about him having cancer. So he decided to go with the latter. “A few weeks ago, I had been feeling sick, so I made an appointment with my doctor…” Before he could finish, his father held up a hand to silence Sasuke.

“I don’t need to hear you complain every time you get a little sick Sasuke, please try to grow up a little.”

Naruto slammed his hand down on the table. That had gone too far in his opinion. “At least wait until he’s finished, you didn’t even know what he was going to say!” He couldn’t believe how uncaring Sasuke’s father was, it was appalling.

Fugaku sent a glare in Naruto’s direction. “I don’t appreciate being talked down to like I’m a child, especially by a fag such as yourself!”

Naruto stood up abruptly and threw his napkin down onto the chair he had just vacated. “I’m done with this shit. I’ll be in the car.” With that, the irate blond left the table and the house, tears streaming down his face.

Sasuke stood up about to go after the blond. “That was fucking unnecessary!” he yelled at his father. “Have some fucking compassion. You’d think my own father would care what happens to me! You don’t want to know what’s wrong with me? Too bad, I’m telling you!” He noticed that Itachi had gotten up to go after Naruto and he sent him a silent look of thanks. He lifted up his shirt sleeve revealing his PICC line. He heard a gasp from his mother, knowing that she knew exactly what it was. All the emotion he could see from his father was a slight widening of the eyes, other than that, there was no reaction.

Fugaku stared at his son for a moment. “Like I said, I don’t need to know every time you get sick Sasuke.” His head was violently thrown to the side as a slap resounded around the room. He looked up startled to see his wife had struck him.

Makoto glared down at her husband in disgust. She may not agree with her son’s decisions, like her husband, but she loved them nonetheless. She just had her own ways of showing it. “How dare you be so apathetic about your own son having cancer!!!” This was then followed by more screaming from Makoto as she proceeded to slap him once more.

Sasuke stared wide eyed at his mother’s move. He had no idea she would even have the guts to make such a move. He decided that it would probably be best if he left. One piece of news seemed like it caused enough drama for one night. He silently left the house, approaching the car. He opened the door to the sounds of sobbing and quickly got into the backseat and closed the door behind him, taking the blond into his arms gently.

When Naruto had left the house, he had taken up residence in the car. The tears fell harder once he was alone and he let himself cry. He soon felt arms around him and looked up to see Itachi. He buried his face in the man’s chest and sobbed, letting his lover hold him and comfort him. They didn’t exchange any words, knowing that there was nothing that needed to be said.

Itachi was furious at his father. For one, he disregarded Naruto and slung insults at him left and right. He wondered how they took the news about Sasuke having cancer and Naruto being pregnant. His thoughts were interrupted as the door opened and Sasuke slid in on the other side of Naruto. He watched as his brother wrapped his arms around the blond as well, and knew that they would be going home shortly.

Sasuke waited until Naruto’s tears slowed a bit before kissing a tanned cheek gently. “It’s alright baby, we’re going to go home now.”

Naruto nodded and let go of Sasuke so he could get into the driver’s seat. He clung to Itachi, wanting the older man to stay with him. On the ride Naruto tried to suppress his nausea, but with all the stress and drama of the night he couldn’t help the bile rising in his throat. “Sasuke stop the car!” he said urgently and opened the door once Sasuke had pulled over. He proceeded to empty his stomach right there on the side of road, feeling Itachi’s comforting hand on his back. He knew that he probably wasn’t going to get any sleep that night, what with all the stress and the way he was feeling. He had a feeling that Itachi and Sasuke wouldn’t really be in the mood for sleep either. Once he was done, he sat up and took the tissue that Sasuke handed him from the front seat and wiped his mouth. He shut the door and leaned against Itachi, letting more tears fall from his blue eyes. The whole night had been a fucking mess and he was hoping he wouldn’t have to go through anything like that ever again. All he wanted was to be at home, with his two lovers, not worrying about anything; especially psychotic parents.
