“He's brain washed her…” Kakashi began.

“That goes without saying…” Tsunade sighed.

“What do you mean?” Naruto asked.

“Orochimaru's had her since she was four. Children that young will do anything to receive love from their care giver even if that love is twisted. He trained her at an early age to love no one but him” Tsunade replied. Anko flinched.

“…So what do we do now?” Sakura asked.

“Well, any information she has is indeed useless seeing as she was abducted before Sasuke was delivered. Also, Orochimaru probably is aware she's been taken and abandoned his hideouts” Kakashi began.

“Regarding Akebara, there's not much we can do. She'll be a prisoner of this village for the rest of her life” Tsunade replied.

Akebara lay in the hospital bed staring up at the ceiling, her hands absently stroking her stomach.

`…A baby…huh?'

“Is the princess going to cry?”

She sat up glaring at the man standing at the foot of her bed.

“What are you doing here?”

Kabuto pushed his glasses up on his nose, “Rescuing you of course! Orochimaru-sama must really like you…”

Akebara's mark began to tingle, “…He's here…”

“That's right, insisted upon it actually. I told him he needed to get used to his new body but…”Kabuto sighed, flipping through her medical folder. He paused to glare at her.

“…You dumped the pills, didn't you?”

“…I'm pregnant, what do you think?!” Akebara snapped. Kabuto shook his head.

“Oh well, it's too late now, anyway. Come Orochimaru-sama is waiting”

Orochimaru smirked at the three ninja who came to meet him.

“A welcoming committee, how touching…”

“What are you doing here, Orochimaru?! What more could you want from us?!” Kakashi began.

“Don't flatter yourselves, you have something that belongs to me…”

Anko's eyes narrowed, “Why do you want that girl? She failed to avoid capture. You're not one to keep around weak links”

“…I have my reasons…”

“Orochimaru, could it be that you actually love this girl?” Tsunade began. Kakashi and Anko looked at her, Orohimaru flinched.

“…You are far too sentimental, Tsunade. To possess not only the Sharingan but also the Byakugan would bring me unlimited power. Not to mention I do not wish to lose my favorite bedmate” He smirked. Anko clenched her teeth, Orochimaru sneered at her.

“Ho? Is that jealousy I see burning in your eyes, Anko-chan?”

“Fuck you!” she snarled.

“Enough!” Kakashi shouted, beginning to summon up the Chidori. Orochimaru's smirk widened, Kakashi managed to dodge Kabuto just in time. Akebara appeared at Orochimaru's side.

“It seems I win” Orochimaru continued, “…Now, I take my leave of you…”

Kakashi and Anko moved to stop him, but Tsunade held up her hand.

“…Tsunade-sama?!”

“Orochimaru, you should know that girl carries your child”

Orochimaru glanced at Akebara, her cheeks colored and she looked away.

“…Take care of her and your baby”

Orochimaru said nothing as he, Akebara and Kabuto vanished.

Akebara knelt by the stream, splashing water on her face.

“How are you feeling?” Orochimaru asked.

“…Fine…” She said quietly.

“Something troubles you?”

Akebara glared at her reflection, “…I…I'm sorry master…I never should've allowed myself to be captured…especially by shinobe of Konohakure…or left the base for that matter…Please forgive my impudence!”

“Indeed you actions were foolish…” he agreed. Akebara flinched, closing her eyes.

“…But I am also a fool for coming to save you from your mistake” Orochimaru knelt at her side. She looked up at him, he leaned into her, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips. Kabuto suddenly became interested in a particular cloud floating across the sky.

“Orochimaru-sama…”

He gazed at her meaningfully, “…You are my most important person…”
