Hey peoples! This is the chapter where Naruto finally gets a chance to shine. It'll go pretty much according to the book except that Haku has a sister named Hikari.

“Way to go Inari!” Naruto praised. “I would like to hang around here but I have a feeling that something's wrong at the bridge.” With that last statement, he jumped away and towards the bridge again.

“So we meet again Kakashi,” Zabuza growled. “But this time I'm not alone.” He gestured to the two vague figures standing behind him. Rebecca gasped in surprise when she recognized one of the kids as the hunter nin who had taken Zabuza away.

 

“As I suspected,” Kakashi murmured. “Your little brats won't beat Haku or his sister Hikari,” Zabuza proclaimed triumphantly. The air around Rebecca and Leonie was suddenly filled with clones of Hikari. The two girls didn't stop to think, they just acted. Within a matter of seconds, all the clones had been destroyed and Rebecca and Leonie were going after Hikari.

 

Zabuza watched the girls' fight for a few seconds then turned towards Kakashi. Kakashi immediately went into a fighting stance. Sasuke attacked Haku viciously. His kunai clanged against Haku's senbon needle. “I now have the advantage,” Haku stated. He started performing one handed seals.

 

`One handed seals?' Sasuke thought, alarmed. “Ice Needles!” Haku cried as he stamped his foot on the bridge. All the water on the bridge turned into ice needles and aimed for Sasuke. At the last second, Haku jumped out of the way. When the air cleared from the after math of the attack, Sasuke was no where to be seen.

 

`What the-?' Haku thought. But he jumped out of the way of the shuriken that were aimed at his head. Sasuke plunged from the air and landed on his feet. Sasuke and Haku again clashed, but this time, Sasuke managed to outmaneuver Haku and kicked him back ten feet. “What! Haku lost a contest of speed?” Zabuza asked disbelievingly.

 

“I didn't want to have to do this, but it appears I have no choice.” Haku began making rapid hand seals. At the end of the sequence he cried out, “Demonic Ice Mirrors!” The water on the bridge rose up and surrounded Sasuke. The water hardened into flat panels of ice in a rectangular shape. `Crap,' was the only thing going through Sasuke's head at the moment.

 

“Now I will show you my true speed,” Haku said. The mirrors glowed for a moment and then Sasuke was attacked by needles on all sides. He cried out in pain as needles cut him everywhere. After what seemed like an eternity the barrage of needles finally ceased. Sasuke collapsed to his knees.

 

Kakashi tried to run to Sasuke when he heard Sasuke. But Zabuza stood in his way. “Choose between the brat and the bridge builder.” Kakashi growled under his breath. He couldn't abandon Tazuna. “Sasuke can take care of himself.”

 

With Leonie and Rebecca

The two girls continued to attack Hikari viciously. But they were distracted by Sasuke's cry of pain. “Fools,” Hikari said. Her voice was melodic but full of hardness. Rebecca's head whipped around, but she was too late. Hikari flung a kunai at her. She didn't have time to dodge it completely. Rebecca sucked in her breath from pain when the kunai grazed her side.

 

Hikari attacked Leonie while Rebecca was distracted. She feinted a blow to Leonie's head but changed direction and hit her in the stomach. Leonie doubled over, gasping. Hikari used this to her advantage and kicked Leonie hard. She flew through the air and landed in a heap. `What's happening? Why can't I keep up?' Leonie wondered. But her musings were cut short as Hikari advanced on her. Leonie knew she needed a few moments more to catch her breath if she was going to fight this girl.

 

But Rebecca jumped in the way of the charging Hikari, and her unsheathed kunai clashed against Hikari's. The two girls struggled to gain control. Rebecca's arms were shaking from exertion as she tried to push her kunai past Hikari's and into her throat. Hikari found herself staring directly into Rebecca's hypnotic black eyes, as their faces were only inches away.

 

But the moment was broken when Rebecca broke away and landed by Leonie's side. Both girls stood together. They both knew this was going to be a long, hard fight. They charged simultaneously, each one taking a different side. They were so engrossed in their fight, that they didn't notice when a huge cloud of smoke exploded near where Sasuke and Haku were fighting.

 

With Everyone Else

A huge cloud of smoke exploded from nowhere near where Sasuke was fighting. “Naruto Uzumaki, at your service,” the grinning blond said as he emerged from the smoke cloud. `Idiot,' Sasuke thought. `He should have planned a surprise attack instead of coming outright and attacking.'

 

“That's Naruto for you,” Kakashi sighed. “When he arrives, things go from bad to worse.” `Well this could turn out for the better,' Sasuke planned. `With me attacking from the inside and him attacking from the outside, I can probably escape from this.' But that plan fell to pieces when Naruto popped up next to Sasuke and whispered, “Hey! I sneaked in here to rescue you.”

 

Sasuke turned slowly to face Naruto, trying to control his temper. “Don't you think it would have been smarter to attack from the outside instead of being caught in his jutsu as well?” “Uh, no, I didn't think about that,” Naruto admitted. But Sasuke didn't have a chance to respond since Haku resumed his attack. Needles flew at them from all angles.

 

After the attack was finished, both Naruto and Sasuke were on their knees breathing hard. Naruto got up and formed a hand sign. “I won't lose to you!” he yelled. A lot of Narutos appeared within the ice mirrors. “I'll just smash all of your mirrors!” But one after another, they all disappeared into smoke. Naruto fell to the ground. `I saw something,' Sasuke realized. `The boy evaded serious injury. He sees something,' Haku thought. `I must end this fight.'

 

Naruto stood up slowly. “Shadow Clone Jutsu!” he called. More Narutos appeared again and attacked the mirrors. Once again, they all disappeared in smoke. But Sasuke saw Haku moving between the mirrors and destroying the clones with his needles. `There he is!' Sasuke ran at where Haku was going. Haku looked over in surprise. He quickly changed direction so he could avoid Sasuke. Naruto collapsed from exhaustion.

 

“Impressive. You saw where I was going and attacked. You obviously can see something. But I must end this fight now!” Haku attacked Naruto. `Naruto!' Sasuke thought. `I just hope I'm not too late!' Sasuke thought as he jumped in front of the oncoming attack.

I'm really sorry that it's taking me so long to update. I meant to make this chapter longer, but I decided to just update.
