Chapter 2: this is the past

 

The light was so blinding that it almost felt like burning, and then it happened takara and akemi passed out. Everything went black, and that was it-

 

 

`wha- where? I feel like… I cant- cant breathe! I-im drowning?' then takara opened her eyes but immediately shut it again, she was drowning. She tried to calm herself and tried to reach for the surface `a little more'

 

 

Splashhhh!

 

 

“haaa- air at last! Where am i?” she tried to look around to recognize were she was but to her dismay she could not recognize anything. Then it hit her “akemi… akemi! Where are you? akemi? Hey! Quit joking around its not funny! I-“ she could not believe it they got separated how could that happen? What if? No. this is all just a bad dream. She tried to smack her face, it hurts but- `akemi… i- im sorry ` she was starting to get dizzy due to the light that blinded her and her friend. Her whole body is becoming numb she could no longer feel the coldness of the water. Its sucking her energy ` i- feel like-` with one last breath she shouted loud and clear “AKEMI!”

 

 

Konoha village:

(ok I will adapt to the new episodes now, when sasuke is already with orochimaru and sakura training under tsunade, still the hokage while naruto was done training with jiraiya.) they were both with their old sensei kakashi, training at the same training ground since they were genin. (sakura is already chunin and also naruto. Yah know like the manga. Naruto is still genin in the manga right? Im going to change it here)

 

 

training ground, konoha village

 

“kakashi-sensei! lets spar!” the hyper blond boy said. Still as hyper as ever

 

“naruto! Aren't we supposed to be the partners? Don't you dare back out!” the pink hair beauty said giving the blond a murderous glare.

 

 

“sa-sakura-chan, ehehe ri-right sorry kaka-sensei me and sakura-chan are going to spar! Maybe next time!” grinning widely he gave their sensei his foxy grin.

 

 

Sweatdrop `hm… I thought he was the one asking me to spar with him?' waving to his student he put out his favorite book and started to read.

 

 

Sakura was now putting her black gloves on and position herself in her fighting stance “ok naruto! Are you ready to eat my dust?”

 

 

“yeah! But this time you're the one who's gonna eat my dust!” positioning himself in his fighting stance. Hands ready for the seals.

 

 

He stole a glance at his former students face, `hmm… this is interesting, their both look serious'

 

 

Naruto was about to use his favorite technique. “kagebu-“

 

 

“AKEMI!!”

 

 

“wha- what who? Sakura-chan is that you?”

 

 

“stupid! Why would I scream! and besides I was infront of you! and the voice was from- kakashi-sensei!” sakura yelled to her team mates knowing that there must be someone there needing their help.

 

 

“naruto! Sakura! Lets go”

 

 

“hai” both said before all of them vanish with a puff.

 

 

A few minutes later team seven arrives, exactly when the girl was about to drown. Naruto saw her and quickly pulled her out of the water. Kakashi was examining the whole area to see if anyone was there. While sakura went near the girl and checked her pulse.

 

 

“she was just unconscious, she will be alright” sakura said

 

 

“kaka-sensei, what do you think happened? Why was she here? and her clothes?” naruto asked his sensei. while observing the girl who was unconscious.

 

 

“hm… its weird that she was here but the clothes and stuff I don't know… we better get her to the hospital and sakura could you please go tell tsunade about this while me and naruto will be her to the hospital to rest.”

 

 

“alright! I'll go to the hospital as soon as I finish reporting.” With that she vanish with a puff.

 

 

Kakashi went near the girl and took her, he carried her bridal style. “naruto lets go” with that both vanish with a puff.

 

 

At the hospital

When they arrived the nurse rushed next to them and asked “ what happened here?” “she was just unconscious please take care of her.” Kakashi said. Slowly they put the girl down, on top of the bed.

 

 

“kaka-sensei do you think she have a companion, nee she was the one who screamed right? She was calling some ones name… I think it was akone? Akimito? Akito? Wha!! What was it again! Ah I forgot it!” he was already panicking for such a small thing.

 

“akemi” his former sensei offered

 

 

“akemi! Ah! right!” naruto said giving his former sensei his famous foxy grin.

 

 

At the hokage tower

“tsunada-sensei I have something to report-” sakura said bowing her head as a sign of respect before continuing. But she stopped herself from speaking because of what she was seeing, in front of her was her sensei dozing off again. Her saliva was ruining her paper works and her hair was a mess.

“tsunade-SAMA! Wake up!! Your sleeping off again!”

 

 

tsunade snapped her head up after hearing her students voice, she was surprised very surprised, usually no body enters her office during this time of hour but now she was caught. “sa-sakura! Hahahah! What are you doing here? aren't you supposed to be with kakashi and naruto?” she was trying to change the topic of her being caught dozing off again.

 

 

“yes I was, but when we were training we heard a voice, we followed it and we found a girl she was wearing some kind of a uniform, she looked like a normal civilian. We found her unconscious so we brought her to the hospital.”

 

 

“aa… a girl call me when she is already awake . im going to pay her a visit. Was she found alone?”

 

 

“yes, but she was calling a name when we heard her. Maybe there were 2 of them.” Sakura concluded. She maybe right but where's the other one?

 

 

“hmm… just call me later. You may go now.”

 

 

“hai” with that she left with a puff. She was going to visit the girl to, she was interesting her clothes her appearance she really is different. `I wonder where she come from'

 

 

At the hospital

`a-akemi where are you? im sorry i-I cound not protect you im so-so weak… sob sob sob sob' `crying is useless child you should not cry it does not suit you, smile and together we will look for your friend, I promise' that mysterious voice who was it? `who? Who are you could you show yourself?' she asked but she could not see anything, it all pure darkness and space no one was there but her `i am your guardian, I will be your power and your strength.' `gu-guardian? I i- understand it know… so you were the one who helped me th-thank you' `your welcome my child, now go back and wake up now'

 

 

slowly she opened her eyes to look at her surrounding, then she saw a guy with a- mask? And a blond boy who was smiling “i- where?” takara sit up straight so she could examine the room more clearly “i- where am i?”

 

 

“your at the hospital in the hidden village of leaf, konoha” kakashi said shoving away his precious book.

 

 

“ko-konoha… village of leaf” `this place why is it somehow I know this place leaf- come on think think! Leaf… leaf! The scroll! This place is the war! How i- we were sucked by the damn scroll!'

 

 

“uhm.. are you okey miss?” naruto said a hint of concern in his voice

 

 

`oh geez I spaced out!' “ yeah I uh spaced out ehehe! Sorry I didn't introduce myself im takara izumi thank you for your kindness” she bowed her head as a sign of respect.

 

 

“its alright im uzumaki naruto! Nice to meet you taka-chan!” he said giving her his famous foxy grin.

 

 

`his very kind, im so glad they were the one who found me… akemi where are you?'

 

 

“im hatake kakashi nice to meet you” kakashi said his usually bored tone.

 

 

“uhm… I could I ask you guys a question when you found me did you find any other person besides me?” she asked them even thou she already knows the answer. But she was hoping, hoping that they found her.

 

 

“no you were the only one there could you tell us what happened to you? why were you there? Drowning” kakashi asked he was serious now.

 

 

She bowed her head down to cover her face she doesn't want them to see her sad or crying but she was not going to cry specially in front of them. Should she say the truth about the scroll and war thing or should she lie? She doesn't know “ i-“

 

 

“naruto! Kakashi-sensei! I she -“ sakura came in she was carrying fruits and instant cup noodles.

 

 

“sakura-chan! Ramen!! Give meh!!”

 

“naruto! This is for her! Oh- your already awake! Hi im haruno sakura nice to meet you! are you feeling alright now?” she asked

 

 

`she's so beautify a lot better than akemi I guess… but if I compare them she's just 1 point away.' “yes im better now thank you for your kindness sakura-san” she gave her a smile and a little bow of the head.

 

 

“this is for everyone! Here let me get you some fruits. Kaka-sensei! your not reading your stupid book!! What a miracle! It's the end of the world!”

 

 

“sakura-chan!! Ramen ramen!! Please”

 

 

“fine go help yourself”

 

 

`they look so happy together I wish we were always like this at home… heh who am I kidding' she watched them laugh and play joke on each other. She was already smiling she already forgot her problems.

 

 

“takara-chan could you tell us why you were at the pond?” sakura asked

 

 

“i- there was a scroll it was from my family, I think it was forbidden but im a cat yah know, curiosity kills the cat heh and then after that I red the whole thing then suddenly a light flashed it sucked me. And now im here!” takara said

 

 

“do you know what scroll it was?” this time It was kakashi who asked.

 

 

“no… there was no name the only thing that I could remember is that I was holding it and it looked old, the writings are ancient and im the only one who could read it”

 

 

“so… you were from different world? Or time?” sakura said she finished cutting the apple into pieces and gave it to takara.

 

 

takara was already muching some fruits that sakura had offered her “I think I returned to the past.”

 

Naruto was busy slurping his ramen but still he was listening when he heard the word returned to past he suddenly jump ang started saying words “cool! If we could do that then-“

 

 

Smackkkk

 

 

“naruto! You stupid you think that's cool?! She's lost! You know! And she doesn't still know how to go back!” another smack from sakura

 

 

“its ok hehehe I uhm… wanna ask you guys something”

 

 

“what is it?” naruto said

 

 

“are you- a shinobis?” takara asked a little doubtful about her question

 

 

“of course! Im gonna be the next hokege! That's my dream!” naruto said he was beaming like an idiot

 

 

sweatdrop from sakura and kakashi “ whatta shame…” both said

 

 

“I could you could you guys teach me! I i- wanna be a shinobi” takara said her eyes showing determination. She was really serious about it, she wanted to rescue her friend so she need to be strong in order to do that.

 

 

“it's a depe-“

 

 

“of course! You could and kakashi will be the one to teach you!” everyone was sock it was the hokage, they didn't expect her to be there but sakura already knew she would.

 

 

“tsunade-shishou I thought your not coming anymore” sakura smiled at her sensei

 

 

“why shouldn't i? came here to look for our guess, she alright now?”

 

 

“tsunabe-baachan! You said she could! Alright! Im gonna teach her my special technique!!” naruto was dancing like a mad cow.

 

 

“hokage-sama, are we going to give her ranks?” kakashi asked

 

 

“yes, but first she need to learn the basics ok! So good luck kakashi! Oh and I know she doesn't have any home to stay right? She will be staying with you 3 choose who ever she wants to be with. Ok bye now” with that she left.

 

 

“i- thank you!” she shouted aloud so that tsunade could her it. `thank you…'

 

 

“ok now takara-chan where do you wanna stay for now?” kakashi asked he was smiling beneath his mask.

 

 

`hmm… where? I don't know.. but I feel safe with him thou… and naruto I think he wouldn't let me go to sleep how about sakura-chan! Ok its decided' “sakura-chan is it ok if I stay with you tonight?”

 

 

“of course! Besides naruto is too noisy while kakashi-sensei is a pervert! You better come with me than them! Girls rules!” she wave her fist in the air `like hell yeah'

 

 

“ok! Thank you!”

 

 

“aww sakura-chan so mean you scarred taka-chan so that he would come with you” naruto said doing some puppy cute eye

 

 

“takara-chan you training begins tom! Ok 6 am sharp at the red bridge, just ask sakura where the bridge is! Oh and by the way im not pervert! Bye” with that he left with a puff.

 

 

After a long day both sakura and takara went to go to bed, takara was staying at sakura's house because she doesn't have one, both were sleeping peacefully at the bed, they share bed because sakura's bed is big enough for them. Both were fast asleep. Tomorrow is a big day for takara. Her training begins.
