I do not own Naruto. The only character I own is Kanna.

 

The Winged One

 

 

The wind was howling in my ears. My face stung. I couldn't remember what I was doing. I couldn't remember anything in fact. I could only remember my name. Kanna. I think that's my name I don't know.

 

Opening my eyes I quickly closed them. I DID NOT like what I was seeing. I was a couple hundred feet in the air. Opening my eyes again I looked for someone or something to help me. Turning my head in all directions I noticed what looked like a man falling a few yards below me. He was bleeding.

 

I don't know if it was instinct or something else but I knew I HAD to save him. Pushing my arms closer to my body I sped forward. I was only inches away from him now. While I was trying to catch the front of his cloak his eyes started to open.

 

My side ached from the kunai wound I had received. The wind howling in my ears caused me to awaken. The first thing I saw was a woman reaching her hand towards me. This confused me. Does she not know who I am? Did she not know that I killed my entire family and that I was wanted for millions in the Bingo Book?

 

As I looked closer I noticed her eyes for the first time. They were what looked like pure silver. Her long raven black hair was whipping against her face. I looked down we were falling. Fast. We were almost at the ground. “ Grab my hand! I can protect you!” My eyes widened slightly. She wanted to protect me. I don't know what came over me but my hand slowly reached up to hers.

 

I felt overjoyed when his hand slowly reached up to meet mine. When I looked into his eyes I was met with confusion. I felt his palm against my mine. I made my hand into a fist making sure there was no way he could slip out of my hand. Pulling my hand upward I reached around and put my hand on his back pushing him against me as if I were giving him a hug. His posture said that he wasn't used to contact but I ignored it. I felt something inside me release like they had always been there forever and they needed to be set free.

 

I stiffened she was HUGGING me. Her small hands pulled me closer to me as blood splattered on my face. Blinking my eyes in confusion I opened them only to be met with feathers. She. Had. Wings. WINGS! They were the purest white I had ever seen. They looked soft to the touch. Before I had even realized it I was standing here on the ground with a barley conscious women in my arms. “What is your name?” I had to know. Why? I wasn't sure but I felt that I had to protect her no matter what the circumstances. “My name… is Kanna. What is yours?” Kanna her name is Kanna. It is beautiful just like her. “Uchiha, Itachi is my name. Now sleep, I will protect you.” “Thank you Itachi-sama.” And with that she closed her eyes. I looked around trying to figure our location. I would imagine that we were close Konoha. Konoha is where my foolish little brother is living.

 

~Kanna's Dream/Flashback~

 

They didn't have skin. It was like metal, only covered in slime. Green slime. They weren't human or any type of animal on Earth. They had no eyes, yet it seemed that they were staring at me. They used their tails to tear apart the heavens. They had no need for emotions, they only lived to kill. The creature was from somewhere else. Not from this planet, or any other. They were created by an ancient evil. They used only the strongest kunoichi to plant their young in. The creatures wouldn't be birthed like a normal birthing. They would rip through the stomach and out into the world. Killing all that it touched. I know all this because THEY killed my family. Before I could get away they used their tail and latched it onto my face. Forcing something down my throat. My father used his final breath to cast me away from there. I had hoped that the creatures would stay away, stay dead, but I was wrong. So wrong that it costed my family's lives. Theses creatures were known as -
