Naruto and Sakura had finally captured Sasuke, and dragged him back to Konoha. Sakura was extremely happy about this but why did she feel like something was missing. She had her Sasuke-kun back after all, after so many years of being apart. As she scanned over the park she realized why, Naruto and Ino had gotten together after his return. One moment she was rejecting his dates the next he completely forgotten about her, she didn't care, but why would it hurt so much. She looked away and glared at the ground, she knew that it was going to happened. Sakura walked home silently, feeling the needed to just lock herself in her room and cry her eyeballs out. She was so deeply in thought she didn't even notice she crashed into someone until she fell to the ground.

"Oops sorry Sakura-chan" said Naruto. Sakura had, had enough of this and before Naruto could say anything she had finally let her emotions go.

"Why did you leave me and start dating Ino, my best friend huh, is it because she doesn't give you punches or nags you about stuff. Maybe it's because you still think that I like Sasuke. I mean after we got him back you started to acting as if all that time we spent together didn't exist. Oh my god it's that isn't it you don't trust me that I got over Sasuke right!" she shouted.

"Sakura I realized that we would get together any way so what's the point. Besides like you said before when I asked you out. 'It would just be a waste of my time'". Naruto the boy that card about her the most just said that. She had never felt so disappointed in herself before.

"Why are you here, shouldn't you be with Ino on a date or something" she spat out.

"No….I just broke up with her". Sakura was taken back she didn't want to bring something like that up, but she had to know what happened.

"So… why did you break up with her" she asked.
"We both had someone that we liked, and could never have also we knew that the relationship wasn't going to work." He simply said.

He still liked her even with the constant rejection she put him through. This time she knew but, Sakura Haruno was going to give Naruto a chance, to see how it felt like to date him. Hey Naruto lets go get some ramen my treat. The grin spread across his face. Okay Sakura-chan lets at the ramen shop they quickly order their ramen and began to dig in. Sakura looked at Naruto slurping his ramen down. Even though he had matured over the past years Naruto still had his childish side. Sakura had to admit it was always cute. Then it hit her Naruto was the one she had wanted to be with, the one that was always there for her and now she will do the same. So she tried telling him.

"Naruto… I…uh…like you"

She smiled hopefully he knew what she meant. Naruto confused about what she said he replied.

"I like you too"

"No Naruto I mean I really like you as in love you"

It took him moments to realized it and he couldn't believe it she told time she liked him, more than a friend to. Naruto was speechless, Sakura on the other hand was scared he had already give her up. Suddenly Naruto pulled her in to a big hug trying to confess his love until Sakura slapped him saying he was stuttering too much and she couldn't understand what he was saying. "I love you too Sakura" Naruto finally shouted.

Then Sakura did the boldest thing in the world she crashed his lips to hers, sparks and such passion came from it as they parted. Naruto had one thing to say

"Does this mean we are a couple know."
"Yeah we are a couple now"

"So what do we do know"

"This" Sakura joined hands with Naruto as they walked through the village. To declare that they were finally a couple as they walked through the village all the villagers could say was "FINALLY".
