Chapter 9

Sasuke stifled yet another yawn and blearily glanced around the clearing, watching the teams dismantling the tents. He and Naruto had already finished their own, though he desperately wished he was still wrapped in the warmth of his blanket. During the long mission he hadn't had a moment alone with his enthusiastic blonde lover. But last night Naruto had attacked him almost as soon as the camp settled.

-flashback-

Sasuke stretched as he stood, watching Ten Ten and Sakura disappearing into their tent. He doubted that arrangement would last more then a few minutes. From his lack of time alone with Naruto he understood how Lee and Sakura must be feeling at the moment. With a small smile he headed for his tent, feeling Naruto following closely behind. He'd been fairly quiet and thoughtful that evening and Sasuke knew the blonde's moods well enough by now to know that he'd be up all night.

Ducking into the tent, he settled on his blankets and pulled of his shirt and shoes. He even contemplated removing his shorts, but decided to make Naruto work for it a little at least. "Good night Naruto," he said softly and rolled up into his blanket. He didn't see why he couldn't tease Naruto just a bit. The disgruntled look that Naruto sent him confirmed that he'd made a hit.

He watched Naruto, through half closed eyes, as he grumbled and stripped off his bright orange jacket and pants, leaving him in a pair of white boxers and a black T-shirt. He was momentarily distracted when he heard Lee's voice a few feet away, asking for entrance to Sakura's tent. Sasuke smirked slightly, that didn't take long at all. Distracted as he was he wasn't entirely prepared for the attack upon his person that came a moment later.

He grunted as Naruto settled over his body and kissed him fiercely, a firm grip on Sasuke's hair. Naruto never did anything in half measures. His eagerness and energy poured into ever aspect of the young man's life. Sasuke couldn't say that he was entirely upset about this fact though. It made his nights very interesting.

"Sasuke," Naruto murmured, "I've missed you."

"I wasn't ever gone," Sasuke teased back, earning him a nip on his bottom lip. He understood perfectly what the little fox meant and couldn't help but agree. His body was already straining hard against the firm body of his lover, aching for release it had been denied for far too long already. He groaned as Naruto ground his erection hard against his own.

Distantly he realized that they were a bit too close to Sakura and Lee to be doing this so soon in the night, but those thoughts scattered as a strong hand slid into his shorts and stroked him hard. "Oh…fu…," he gasped. It had been far too long, that was blatantly clear as Naruto stroked him and kissed his lips hard. When Naruto teasingly lapped at the straining length a moment later Sasuke lost it almost immediately. He flushed as he spilled out over his belly and over Naruto's hand. Naruto chuckled and moved up to kiss him. "I'm sorry," Sasuke murmured blushing hotly. "I couldn't stop it."

Naruto flashed him a trademark grin in the dark and pulled off Sasuke's shorts entirely. "Don't worry Sasuke, we're just getting started." Naruto pulled away briefly and shed his own clothing before sliding back between Sasuke's trembling thighs. Sasuke couldn't help but shiver a little as the blunt head of Naruto's length rubbed along the cleft of his rear.

Naruto gathered what he could of Sasuke's seed from the young man's belly and carefully spread it over his erection. It wasn't as good as a real lubricant, but it would help at least. He was just settling against his dark haired lover when a noise invaded his cocoon of pleasure. It was a gasping young woman…not a sound Naruto was used to hearing. "What the hell?" he grumbled.

Sasuke chuckled, "Do you think you're the only one getting something tonight? I heard Lee-san sneak into Sakura's tent a while ago. Ten Ten must have left…that or she's a little kinkier then when ever imagined." He shifted up against Naruto, reminding him that they were also in the middle of something.

Naruto grinned and leaned down to take Sasuke's mouth forcefully, while gently nudging against his tight entrance below. Naruto was a surprising mix of force and tenderness… something Sasuke hadn't quite expected. He'd always imagined that Naruto would be clumsy and careless in all things, but when they made love he was at least careful not to hurt Sasuke. Sasuke knew that this part could be very painful if rushed, but with Naruto he'd barely felt more than a passing discomfort each time.

He groaned softly as Naruto slowly filled him, the slow stretching glide stirring his own length back to life. It was always like this with the blonde. Sasuke couldn't ever get enough of him. He watched the young man above him, loving the expressions of concentration and barely contained pleasure that flashed in his eyes; the faint flush of his cheeks, the soft pants of his breath. Everything about him was so arousing Sasuke could barely control the rush of lust that ripped through him.

Naruto groaned as he slid all the way to the hilt in Sasuke's clutching body, his body clamoring for release after so many days of celibacy. The sight of his dark hair, fair skinned lover arching below his was a sight he never tired of. It was so intensely erotic he nearly lost it immediately. Taking a deep, gasping breath, he began to thrust ever so slowly. He desperately wanted to avoid hurting Sasuke in these first few moments while his body adjusted to the intrusion.

He was endlessly thankful to Iruka for advice on these matters. He'd gone to the sweet older ninja after Sasuke had kissed him, confused about what he was feeling. The kiss had been exciting and arousing…and for some reason felt so right. Naruto had known that boys shouldn't be attracted to each other, but he didn't feel at all guilty about the brief contact he'd had with Sasuke. Sasuke had, on the other hand, freaked out and ran away. He probably thought that Naruto would get pissed and try to beat the crap out of him. Instead Naruto had asked Iruka what to do and then snuck into Sasuke's apartment that night.

It had been awkward that first time and a little embarrassing, but that night was the start to a relationship that filled all of the sad, lonely places in both young men's hearts. Naruto couldn't help but smile tenderly down at Sasuke as he thought about their relationship and how it began. "What?" Sasuke asked softly, reaching up to run a gentle hand through blonde spiky hair.

Naruto settled down on his forearms over Sasuke and sighed, "I was just thinking about that first night together and how it's changed my life…how you have changed my life. I can't imagine a life without you in it to love."

Sasuke smiled gently in the darkness and pulled Naruto down into a firm hug, "Don't imagine it at all. I will always be a part of your life and I will always love you little fox." He moved his hips gently, "Now make love to me…I need you." Holding each other close, they slowly ground against each other, groaning softly and murmuring endearments. It was so achingly sweet and hot that Sasuke actually felt tears prick his eyes. Even when it was over the feeling remained, turning the night into one long session of gentle lovemaking, like nothing he'd ever felt before.

-end flashback-

Yawning again he turned and smiled as Sakura drifted towards him. She looked a bit startled at the uncommon smile but returned it nonetheless. "Good morning Sasuke-kun," she murmured.

He smiled brighter, "It is a nice morning, isn't it?" With regret he noticed dark smudges under her eyes. Sasuke was silent a moment then blushed slightly, "Sakura…I hope we didn't keep you awake too long last night. It has been so long…." He couldn't finish the sentence and blushed furiously.

She laughed softly and patted his shoulder, "No, no we could barely hear you two. No Lee woke me up…twice…so I'm afraid I look a little worse for wear." She flushed and after an awkward silence she cleared her throat, "Sasuke…I'm glad you're happy and in love with a nice person like Naruto. Despite my earlier infatuation with you, I think this was the best for all around. I just wanted to tell you that." He nodded and smiled. She returned the smile and walked away in search of the devious Ten Ten.

Unfortunately she came face to face with a grumpy looking Sensei instead. Kakashi looked like he was exhausted and thoroughly irritated. She had no doubt that his three students were responsible for it. "Good morning Sensei," she ventured softly. He grunted and glanced up at her from his seat on a stump. "Sensei, are you upset?" she asked carefully.

"No," he grumbled.

"You're manner suggests otherwise Sensei," she said a bit more firmly. Was he going to act like a baby this morning?

He frowned under his mask and sighed, "If you must know I took watch last night, which means I heard two sets of students misbehaving, while I…." he trailed off.

"While you what?" she asked carefully.

"I miss the dolphin," he sighed, not really noticing he used his pet name for Iruka.

She smiled and sighed, "I am sorry we reminded you of Iruka, Kakashi Sensei. I would imagine that you miss him as much as I missed Lee, probably more so. At least you'll see him this evening."

"We had a fight before I left…" Kakashi murmured. "I don't know if he'll even welcome me when we do get back." He was quiet for a moment, clearly hesitating to discuss this topic with his young female student. Finally he sighed, "He asked me to move in with him."

Sakura smiled brightly, "Oh that's wonderful!" When he looked away her smile faded, "You said no."

"Not only did I say `no', I basically told him it wasn't a serious relationship…only sexual…why complicate things," he grunted, flinching at the remembrance of his own words. "Of course I didn't mean any of it…he means the world to me," he said softly. "I was so stupid and look at me now…dumping on a sixteen year old girl."

She smiled gently and sat on a smaller stump next to him, poking at the fire pit with her sandal for a moment. "Kakashi Sensei, I may be sixteen, but I've been an adult in our village for a while now. I don't exactly consider myself a little girl anymore. As for your argument with Iruka Sensei, I won't argue that it wasn't stupid to say such things. However I think you simply panicked and if you explain that to him, I'm sure everything will work out. He is a very sweet man and I know he will understand what you need to tell him."

Kakashi glanced over at her, a little hope lighting in his eyes, "You think so?"

"Do you want to live with him and be with him?" she asked. When he nodded, she smiled, "Then I think there's definitely hope for you. Though a gift wouldn't hurt," she murmured, drawing a soft chuckle out of him. "Now shouldn't we get moving? Gai Sensei and his team already left. He said eight of us traveling together would be too crowded."

"He's really just annoyed because he's not dating anyone and didn't get any sleep either," Kakashi said with a grunt. "We'll all be worthless for a few days I think. I'll let you three have a couple of days off when we get home, alright?"

She smiled and nodded, jumping to her feet to go tell Sasuke and Naruto who were strapping on their packs to leave.

Kakashi swallowed hard and leaned his forehead against Iruka's door, not daring to knock. He couldn't forget the hurt look in Iruka's eyes when he'd said all of those hurtful things. It hadn't helped that they'd been lounging in bed early that morning before Gai came to find Lee. Iruka had looked so sweet and cute and shy as he asked Kakashi to move in with him. Kakashi had immediately panicked and thrown the request back at the startled ninja.

The awkward silence as he dressed had been even worse. When Gai had shown up moments later Kakashi had been relieved to have an excuse to leave. He hadn't cared to deal with the situation at the time. He wasn't so sure he wanted to deal with it now.

He was considering just leaving when Iruka's door opened and he was left staring at a surprised Iruka instead of smooth wood. They both flushed and looked away from each other. "May I come in?" Kakashi asked gruffly. Iruka nodded once and opened the door wider to admit him.

Kakashi strolled in feeling more uncomfortable then he ever had in his life, which included the times his life had been in serious danger. He could feel Iruka's curious eyes on him; the hurt pouring off of the younger ninja. "Iruka…about last time…I didn't mean any of that stuff I said." He glanced sideways at his `lover'. Iruka's eyes had brightened slightly and he looked a little hopeful. "I was surprised and I just…panicked. I didn't know what to say or do…I said stupid things that I didn't mean. I love you more than anything Iruka…even more than my books." That comment got a small chuckle out of the other man.

He turned and stepped closer to Iruka, "If the offer still stands I would love to live with you…always." Iruka beamed at him and nodded silently. Kakashi hesitated for a moment then swept Iruka into his arms, kissing him like he'd been wanting to for over a week. "God, I swear they were ALL having sex last night and I couldn't get you out of my head," he whispered harshly. "I kept thinking I was going to lose all of that…not just the sex…good as it is…but the quiet moments afterwards and waking up next to you."

Iruka looked at him and smiled, "I would have missed that too." He was just leaning in for another kiss when he registered all of Kakashi's words, "Wait…all of them? Who are "all of them"?"

Kakashi laughed softly and pulled Iruka towards the futon in the corner, "Naruto and Sasuke and Lee and Sakura…in separate tents of course."

"Lee and Sakura? I guess you did say they were together now," Iruka said pulling off his shirt then starting on Kakashi's. "I think Sakura was smart to forget about Sasuke and concentrate on a nice boy like Lee."

Kakashi rolled down and back onto the futon, taking Iruka with him. As Iruka settled against his chest he murmured, "Not that she had much of a choice. Naruto got him first."

"Did I ever tell you that Naruto came to me the day Sasuke kissed him and asked for advice?" Iruka asked nipping at Kakashi's neck and chest.

Kakashi smiled down at him, "Is that so? What did you tell the little fox that day?"

Iruka grinned up at him, "Why don't I show you? I think you'll like it."

Kakashi sighed and looked up at the ceiling basking in the warm afterglow of their lovemaking. He decided he liked making up with Iruka…though he didn't particularly care for the fighting part. Reminded that he came here to apologize he grunted and leaned over to sift through his vest.

"Kakashi?" Iruka asked sleepily, "Where are you going?"

"No where love. I have something for you," Kakashi said softly lying back against the pillows. Iruka levered himself up on his elbows and waited curiously for what Kakashi had in his hand. Whatever it was it wasn't very big. Kakashi opened his hand and a delicate gold band, threaded on a sturdy chain lay in the center.

Iruka flicked his eyes up to Kakashi's, "Kakashi? I…what is this?"

Kakashi leaned over and carefully clasped the chain around Iruka's neck, "I know that we can't marry, laws don't allow it, but I want to be with you always. A ring on your finger would get in your way in battle, so you can wear it this way…if you'll accept it."

Iruka blushed a little then looked like he was going cry, "Kakashi…I don't know what to say…I mean of course I'll accept it…." Kakashi pulled him in for a kiss to stop the stream of shy words, "I understand," he murmured. Iruka pulled away a moment later, giving him a watery smile. He lay on Kakashi's shoulder, gently toying with the gold band, feeling happier then he could ever remember feeling. Finally he had someone to share his life with and he wasn't going to let go.

A/N: Did you like it? I thought the boys needed some tender moments too. It was hard to write this chapter cuz I'm not a boy and I don't think like one, but since I have no reviewing guys to help me out I'll make them a little girlie in their interactions. Please if a guy is reading this who prefers relationships with other guys, let me poke around in your head a bit. What do boys think about? I should know since I've been with the same guy for like 5 years, but I don't :).
