Chapter 26: Neji's new hair cut and Shikamaru's new look
It was a normal day at the house, Gaara, sasuke and naruto were fighting over the cereal box, because they wanted to be the first one to pour the cereal. in the end it usually ends up with gaara, pushing Sasuke and Naruto off the chair. around 9 o'clock, the other kids eventually show up. Then the day gets worse, because something bad happened, and one of the children ends up in the corner ( I hated the corner, It was always me who ends up in the corner or in the time out. heck i would go in the coner 3 or more times a day.)... then something usually gets broken... Something in the house has to be replaced more times than any can say "Humpapakika" ten times fast.
anyway.. it was one of those days... in the after noon the quiet comes in... for about 2 hours and then another ruckus starts up. But we are not going then far ahead... lets rewind about 8 hours back...
~*~ 8 hours ago~*~
everyone was sitting in the living room, Hinata was hitting Kiba with her spoon, Chouji was happily eating hes food (he brought it with him), gaara , Sasuke and Naruto made a fort out of the pillows on the couch and would attack anyone who got near. Shikamaru was sound asleep on the couch. Lee and Neji were staring at eachother.. not trying to blink. Shino was telling Sakura and Ino about the different types of bugs there were. Kankurou was out doing grocery shopping and Temari was sewing some clothes for gaara, Naruto and sasuke. Itachi, was also in the pillow fort.... everyone was good... no screaming, crying or yelling at eachother. it was peaceful. Kankurour came back with grocery bags and thought he was in the wrong house.
Gaara, naruto, Sasuke were tried off hiding out in the pillow fort and wanted to something fun Gaara got a great idea and head off to the boy toy box and took out some marks. He than ran back to Sasuke and Naruto and told them about the plan.
They snuck over to shikamaru and They begin to draw on Shikamaru's face. A little swirl there, a circle of there and a square here. A line of there and lets put in a mustach, don't forget the beard. They also added really thick eyebrows... like Lee and Gai's eyebrows. They were about to add another little swirl on shikamaru's face, when their names were being called. Gaara, naruto and Sasuke turned around to see very angry Temari.
"What did you do?" temari asked has she grabbed the markers away from them and sent them to the corner, to think of what they did.
Shikamaru woke up at the same time and asked, "what was all the yelling about?" Temari gave shikamaru a handheld mirror and in one second, shikamaru's face went white.. white as a white sheet. which was followed by a scream.

It took Shikamaru eight hours to get the markers off, and Gaara, Naruto and sasuke were finally allowed out of the corner. everyone was good... no screaming. Gaara, naruto and Sasuke went back to the fort of pillows, itachi was still there ( he never left... he was guarding their fort..) Itachi was staring at Neji and an idea pops in he's head. he leaned over to sasuke and whispers the idea. who then told gaara and Naruto. they walked over to Neji and smiles, " Neji.. could come with us for a minute."
Neji follows them to the kitchen... where Sasuke and naruto help him down. Gaara took a pair of scissors and... 20 minutes later Gaara, Sasuke and naruto walked in. shortly followed by neji. Kankurour who was read the paper, looks at the children and then looks over at neji, Sasuke, gaara and Naruto. he went back to read the paper.. before he relizes that there was something different about Neji. He doubled look... and screamed for Temari. (she was somewhere else). temari comes in runnin and saw... neji's new hair. Neji was missing a big chuck of hair in the middle, bits and piece were short and long. Some spots didn't have any hair at all. Gaara, naruto and Sasuke were sent back to the corner... itachi joined them.
