Naruto collapsed to the training area’s floor and took deep breaths. He’s been training non-stop since he came back from training with Jiraya. Naruto couldn’t complain though. All the training kept him exhausted meaning no nightmares tonight. Ever since Saskue left the dreams were endless. He would feel alone and helpless when he then sees the dark haired boy with the black irises smile at him with an outstretch hand. Then when Naruto reaches for the hand that promised him comfort and security, it fell and his dreams involved manically laughter and bright flashes of red and blue across his sub-conscious vision. It felt like the world was flashing by and no one was there to stand beside him anymore to share his pain. Naruto shook his head and stood up from the clearing. Before he knew what he was doing he was traveling high speed towards the one place that held so much pain yet helped him rid of it. He paused when he saw their tree. Notice how he said there tree. Staring at the tree he felt old memories assault his senses.He was in another time watching the little blonde boy staring at the stoic face Saskue. Naruto stood watching as well. He wanted to scream a boy not to make the mistake of falling in love with him; it was a punishment worse than death. But the boy just continued to watch the other with such passion Naruto felt that slight ache build in his chest. Even though he may say if he could take that entire pain away, if he had the chance of going back in time that he would do just that. But when push comes to shove he knew that he wouldn’t take those moments back if it cost him his entire being.Those were the moments when he didn’t feel like an outsider, those precious times when he was just carefree with everything…including his heart. Naruto pinched his eyelids shut and push the thoughts that haunt him night and day and felt that rage tugged at his stomach again whenever he thought about the past.He positioned his kunai and made a lash on the tree. The more anger he felt the more lashes he inflicted. He didn’t stop until he felt the emotion subside to bitter ebb in his veins. He looked to survey the damage he inflicted and wince.This was worse than the last time, Naruto thought to himself.He needed better control over his emotions. The tree looked like it was begging for mercy over the brutality that it had endured and Naruto couldn’t find it in himself to leave the tree in such pain. He kneeled forward and dug his fingers into the ground and let his chakra flow into its roots.He continued to flow his energy until he felt dizzy and looked back up the tree again. The tree still looked horrible from previous slashes but most of the current ones had bark over lapping it and healed. This poor tree use to be to majestic and now its beauty has been covered with Naruto’s pain. Naruto whispered an apology and stood and pivoted in the opposite direction; staying there will only increase the fire in his heart and he was having enough trouble as it is keeping the memories at bay.When he broke into the training arena he found Kakashi-sensei back facing him and was apparently holding something tight against his chest. Naruto was about to call out to him when he heard a rather high moan come from the direction Kakashi was currently occupying. Naruto realized in surprise that there was a make-out session here and he was sure his presence was not to be welcomed if he interrupted. Judging by the moans coming from the stranger he was most positive he was not to interrupt. He slowly back away from the clearing, but not before him noticing a dark hair pulled into a rather high ponytail peeking out from the top of Kakashi’s head. Naruto frown, there was no girls in the village that had that kind of ponytail except for Inui and she was a blonde. Finally he left when he notices it was getting a little more than a make-out session and headed back to the village.~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~@~ Sakura paced back forth waiting for Sai to come from his “Meeting” with Captain Yamoto and continue her on her mission. Everyone knew they were having an affair, yet they continued to do hide the fact that there homo. Once Sakura went looking for Sai and found him on his knees giving him a blow job. Judging by the noise Yamoto was making they weren’t strapping their sandals in like they said they were doing.FlashbackSakura: “What are you guys doing!?!”Yamoto: “Nothing! Sakura heard a loud plop and Sai came up so fast she knew that they were doing something that didn't involve strapping in their sandals like they said.Sai: “Strapping his sandals, were going on a mission in a few and wanted to get prepared.”Sakura: Riiiiiiight.End of FlashbackSakura smiled at the memory. They were so scared to admit they were caught they avoided each other for two weeks until we had a mission and was paired with the two, a lot of screaming that night. Sakura was disturbed from her musing when she heard light footsteps coming from said couple. Yamoto looked like he just came from a tussle with lions and Sai had a large grin on his face. Sakura saw that Yamoto’s wrist were bruised by strong rope only to see with closer inspection that it was ink wrapped around his wrist and she was sure his ankles.“Had a nice “Meeting”? Sakura smirked. Yamoto looked at Sai and Sakura could see that it was a defiantly a wonderful meeting.Sai smirk when he said, “It was very knowledgeable and will be further discuss in the near future." Yamoto looked at him hungrily like there was no other there.Sakura cleared her throat and reported the message the Fifth instructed for the next mission. Sai and Yamoto broke from their hot glances when they heard what the Fifth expected them to do. Sai was the first to speak, “Why would she want us to keep an eye on Naruto?”Sakura shrugged and fawned ignorance to the question. She knew why and how important the mission was.She was worried as well for her friend. Lately he doesn’t speak to no one and doesn’t argue when the Fifth gives him crappy easy missions that keep him in ranged of the village. He barley notices that outside world and god only knows what that boy is thinking all the time. He’s lost since Saskue left and doesn’t know what to do with him. She knew he was in deep depression and she too didn’t know what was best for him so she just kept silent and watched him die a little each day.Sakura pulled her thoughts from the direction they were going and repeated the lines the fifth told her, “You are to watch Naruto 24/7 and there is no excuse from not completing this task. I want Sai and Yamoto to take watch when the sun sets and Sakura since its normal for you to be with Naruto then you’ll take the day; this is ranked B at the moment and quite possibly ranks higher if anything goes wrong. Please tell Sai and Captain Yamoto to refrain their little “Meeting” while on watch this is serious and one little mistake can turn this into a messy mission.”Sakura smiled when she saw the couple blush full red in the cheeks. They really don’t see the love that’s between them. It was actually fairly common for men to be gay, but they don’t see that. They need a little nudge and Sakura had a brilliant idea on how to make it a success, only one can pull this mischief off and one and only.Sakura smiled and it might bring a certain Blonde boy away from his grief long enough to have a little fun. She raced across the plain and saw the boy in question entering the ramen shop. Sakura smiled at her devious little plan and stalked the boy very quietly.She withdrew a kunai knife from her strap and poised it at the Blonde’s neck and whispered in his ear coyly, “There is a mission to be done and if you do not see to it then I'll cut your throat where you sit." She smiled triumphantly and was about to cackle when she heard POOF! Sakura was puzzled for a second 1/2 when she realized what happen; a moment too late for her when she felt arms tackle her and pin her to the ground. Sakura was eating a mouthful of dirt when she heard the laughter behind her.She craned her neck to see her captor and was staring into deep sea blue eyes and gulped. He sure did change when he went to Jiraya and returned. She saw a spark of the old mischievous boy she knew and smiled at him." You should really do that more often. Not the tackle thing, but to smile more. You know we all miss you?" Sakura whispered low enough for him to catch. Then the spark died away and he lifts her off the ground. To attempt to lighten the mood she forced a grin and said in a defeated tone, " See you've gotten better in your substitutions have you now." She heard him give a bitter chuckle and sighed to herself. This boy is so stubborn! She pulled a chair out and readied herself for her declaration.“Naruto I know you’re having a very difficult time right now with all the drama that has been happening, but I really need your help right now,” Sakura paused and searched for the right words for this situation, “To you this may not be important but these guys are so in love with each other and they continue to deny each other by keeping their relationship from the village so that’s where you come in.” Sakura peered at him with shaded eyes full of innocence that Naruto narrowed his gaze a bit then replied, “This seems a bit odd Sakura, when did you become match maker all of a sudden?”Sakura cooled her features and replied with as much seriousness that she could muster and regarded Naruto with a cold expression until he squirmed a bit then brighten when she saw the guilty look come over his face. Naruto I really think this is important and it’s really important to me you don’t even understand that? Sakura false a sob and peeked at him from the corner of her eyes and almost faltered at what she saw in his gaze. It was pure anguished. His features twisted in agony Sakura felt a compulsion to grasp her chest at the intensity she saw lying there in those blue eyes. It was so overwhelming she couldn’t contain the gasp anymore and the sound was of pure horror.Naruto head snaps up at her with a sudden jolt and the eyes that were so filled with endless seas of agony blinked away in flash that she could barley conceal her double take back he caused. Sakura took a deep breath and mused over what she just learned; so he was suffering much worse than the Fifth had first conceived. She didn’t know how she was going to carry out this mission without getting involved with the pain he seemed to be harboring but promise herself that she would not give in to the emotion that apparently was eating Naruto alive and help her friend get through whatever evil seemed to be torturing him. She looked into the blank depths of his eyes and with a false smile splayed on her face she tells him to promise her something.Naruto again narrowed his eyes and replied in suspicious tone, “What is it?” Sakura smiled and again repeated her request to him. She saw Naruto consider for a moment and then said, “Alright what ya want me to do and to whom shall I torture for your amusement.” Sakura smiled in triumphed and said in a positively mischievous voice, “Were going to make these two people to come together and you’re going to play a very large part in this plan Naruto and it will give you a chance to sharpen your skills in deceiving one with another’s appearance what do you say hmmm?”Naruto then flashed a smile that took her years back. Naruto stood from his stool and ask who they were going to match up and Sakura smile and Inner Sakura yelled, “Cha! He’s still as gullible as ever!”Sakura had to agree with that. She thought briefly how to convince him and brighten at how smart she was when she finally came to a perfect solution.“ It might be better if I show you rather than tell you.”
