Chapter one: A Good Start Hits a Rock… or Two

 

 

It had been such a playful day for Naruto and Hinata and well almost every teen and young person in Konoha. The Hokage had sent all of the Chunin in Konoha on a special mission, the reason being a mystery. Due to the lack of sensei that meant no lessons or training until further notice, so they all basically had the rest of the time to do whatever they wanted. As for Hinata and Naruto they had been playing in a glistening stream for what was about 4 hours now. But they weren't alone they were joined by none other than the original rookie nine all except for Sasuke Uchiha who wouldn't be caught dead playing in a stream in his underpants. Hinata and Naruto had been dating for at least seven or eight months now, but with Hinata at 18 and Naruto at a 3 month advantage of 19, marriage, money, and sex weren't always the first thing on their mind. Well at least not always. For the time being they had been peacefully playing in the stream like the good little, sober teenagers that they at least currently were.

 

Naruto and Kiba had been currently engaged in a water fight, which was less than what someone would call a water fight, it was more like an “insult each other's mother contest with a splash between every other slur or curse” fight. Regardless of the fight the others didn't hesitate to enjoy themselves especially Hinata who was completely hysterical at the two young men who were almost ready to kill each other.

 

“Well I wouldn't talk that way to the man that's gonna be your Hokage someday” Naruto yelled with his usual arrogance and pride.

 

“Oh, yeah right. You're gonna be Hokage someday. Believe it! I'll tell ya what, Naruto you can keep flappin' your jaw and I'll become Hokage for ya. ” Kiba said in a mocking tone.

 

“Yeah well, I remember that same thing coming from the mouth of a 13 year old boy a couple of years ago, I don't remember his name. All I remember about him was kicking his ass in the Chunin exams, oh yeah his name was Kiba Inazuka. “

 

“You know I just let you win to make it easy on poor Hinata-chan, I would hate for her to have to see her little boyfriend get beaten to a pulp before her very eyes.”

 

“Oh, too bad, you're right I should have gone easier on you. Sorry you had to see that, Hinata-chan. I'll make it up to you tonight.”

 

“Will you guys stop fighting, before it was kinda funny but now it's just annoying” said a very ticked off Sakura.

 

“Naruto-kun, stop it. You're embarrassing me” Hinata giggled.

 

“I'm just defending your honor” he smiled

 

“Come sit, Naruto.” Said Hinata motioning for Naruto to sit next to her at the edge of the lake. And that's what he did, except instead of sitting next to her he lifted her, moving her so that she sat on his lap which Hinata didn't mind she was pretty much used to it. Then out of the blue or more like the dark (of the forest) came Sasuke who didn't look like he came to have fun. “You guys have been out here screaming and splashing around in that damn dirty lake all morning. This is the only time I get to sleep all week after having to run around escorting old ladies to villages, but I can't sleep because there seems to be a bunch of shrieking idiots outside of my house.” Sasuke scowled.

 

“Well with the size of that house of yours I wouldn't think that you would even be able to hear us shrieking idiots outside of your house. In fact I would accuse you of coming out here to play with us, cause you're not really such a bad dude. And somewhere deep inside that receded and decrepit heart, you love me!” Naruto chuckled loudly

 

“In your dreams, loser”

 

“Than why are you here, Mr. Cold Heart?”

 

“If you really must know the truth is Neji is looking for you, Hinata and he said and I quote `Tell Hinata to get her ass over here right now, because now she has no excuse not to come home because Lord Hokage sent away all the Chunin on a special mission so that means she has have no training today' and he said some other stuff that I wouldn't want to say while people are around. And he said he's not leaving from in front of my door until he sees Hinata.”

 

“But why did he come to your house?” Sakura asked concentrating fully on what Sasuke had to say.

 

“I'm not sure but for some reason he just came to my front door, banging like a maniac thinking I had her hidden away somewhere in my mansion, for what reason I'm not sure.” He said blushing which he rarely did.” Anyway, Hinata are you coming?”

 

“I have to” she said with a sigh.

 

“Naruto, will you come with me? Please.” Unfortunately Naruto wasn't paying much attention due to the fact that he had been playing with Hinata's now swollen breasts. “Naruto?” she tried talking to him, which didn't stop him from squeezing her breasts until she finally noticed and slapped his hand away from her chest. “Naruto!” she whispered a little embarrassed. “How about tonight?” he whispered back. “Will you come with me?” she asked again.

 

“Come with you to where?”

 

“Naruto, haven't you been listening?” Hinata said a little angry.

 

“You picked yourself a fine boyfriend, Hinata” Sasuke teased coldly.

 

“To see my cousin!” she sighed

 

“Who?” Naruto asked confused.

 

“But seriously, don't you ever get tired of having to repeat every little thing to say to him, waiting for his tiny brain to process the simple requests given to him?”

 

“You're really cute, Sasuke.” Naruto glared sarcastically

 

“Naruto, my cousin requests my presence right away. It would really make me feel better if you came with me.” She almost begged.

 

“Awww. But your cousin is mean to me and he treats me like I have some disease.” He groaned.

 

“Please! I'll take you out for ramen!”

 

“No thank you. I am no longer swayed by the promises of food…. or kisses.”

 

“Not even kisses?!” she pouted.

 

“Nope” he refused.

 

“Why?”

 

“Because he's just gonna make you leave again, I'm sick of unpacking your bags and then repacking them again and again. And you don't even try to resist, you just go with it because you may be confident around me and your friends but whenever it comes to Neji you turn back into the same shy Hinata from ninja school.”

 

“Fine, than I'll just go with Sasuke then, it's not a big deal.”

 

“Fine, bye.”

 

“Bye.”

 

And with that, Hinata stomped away being sure to grab Sasuke's arm before disappearing into the woods. And as they were walking the only light that could be seen was the shimmer from the light on Sasuke's devilish grin.
