Naruto Fan Fiction ❯ World Collision ❯ Changing booth ( Chapter 42 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Alright, here you go, here you go! Man, Sunday night already; I dread waking up tomorrow morning! Anyhow, my Tobi mask is coming out pretty well! I want to post a picture of it on deviantart once I'm done with it, so I'll give you a link to that when I do so… And I might even take pictures of the Toricon so you can see me wearing the outfit, lol.

Jessica gawked at herself in the small mirror of the dressing room. She couldn't believe that out of all of the people in the world, the two men she was with would be making her try on different clothing for them to see. How could they of all people suggest or be interested in such a girlish activity? Sighing as she shook her head, she knew that they must have been as bored as she was to have to dress her up like a doll to keep them occupied. Closing her eyes, she then turned to pull the curtain out of the way to step out. Emotionlessly, she slowly rotated to get a rating.
“Oh, doesn't Jessica-chan look so cute Sempai?” Tobi asked as he clapped his hands together while the blond artistically looked the girl over.
“Hnm, the color doesn't work for her…” He mumbled to himself as he quickly scanned over her dark and light pink kimono. “Tobi, get another one for her to try on.” He commanded as the masked man then scrambled behind the changing booth. A moment later, he came back around with an identical kimono that had different tones of blue instead of pink. Handing it to her, Jessica then sunk her shoulders again as she walked back into the room. Closing the curtain, she then peeled off the other outfit and worked to get the next one on. Being an average girl who didn't get out that often she enjoyed the occasional shopping events. The issue here though, was that her shopping-company was pretty much both full-grown men, she didn't have a say in the outfits she tried on, and they'd been doing it for at least an hour now. When they said that they'd get her some new clothing to allow her to have a second change of clothing for travel, she never expected this. It wasn't as if the outfits she was trying on were better for traveling then the outfit she currently had; in fact, all the outfits they chose were probably a lot worse! It was pretty obvious that they just wanted to see how dressed up she could possibly get, since a fancy, festive kimono was defiantly not for traveling! After folding the pink one and handing it out threw the curtain, she then started to attach all of the ties on the blue one. Stepping out again, she repeated her actions and waited for the criticism of the outfit.
“Better color choice, but I'm not to sure if I like the kimono's style… Tobi, get another from the pile that isn't this style.” He commanded again as his underling then quickly darted behind the booth again.
“You made a whole pile?” Jessica asked in a voice that made it seem as if he were crazy as she looked at the large pile behind the booth she was in. “Oh my gosh, why are there so many dresses here? Weren't you just thinking of buying me some new clothing because the outfit that was better for travel was stolen? Correct me if I'm wrong, but fancy kimonos are not for traveling purposes! Shouldn't I be trying on outfits where I wear pants or something easier to move in quickly?”
After a moment of silent staring from both men, Deidara then nodded his head. “Yeah, Tobi put those all back, yeah,” he said as he walked up to a display table. After glancing at a few different things on it, he then picked up a few outfits and tossed them at his slave girl. “Try these one, yeah.” Relieved that all of the bottoms were pants, she then nodded her head and walked back into the booth again.
After another hour of trying different outfits on, much to Jessica's displeasure, Deidara had finally found something he'd be content with. Now wearing her new outfit with her other in her new back pack, she felt as if she had more freedom to walk as she pleased since the restrictions of a skirt were now not applied to her. In her mind, it had been decided that the color her master preferred the most on her must have been blue, since this was the second top she got that was blue. This time, though it was styled a lot like a usual kimono top, it was a sold light blue that was made out of a cottony material. This top, unlike the other, went a quarter ways down her thighs, and had a second rope-like thing that was tied like a belt. That, along with the shirt's collar and tie around her mid-section, was a darker yet soft blue. She still didn't quite get why he had bought her one with long sleeves when summer was coming on, but luckily for her the material could breathe well. For her pants, she wore a snugger pair of blue-black shorts that went down to her knees. To top off the new outfit, she now wore sandals that were almost identical to the ones Sasori had bought her months before, only they were also more of a navy color than black. Now the only thing that seemed to be missing from her outfit were the hair things she had lost in the forest. She herself didn't really care whether or not she wore them, but didn't Deidara say that she needed to keep her hair that way? Had he forgotten so soon? Perhaps he saw how it didn't really matter at all, but whatever reason it was she decided not to provoke it.
“Tobi thinks Jessica-chan looks so precious in her new clothes! She doesn't even look like a slave anymore, huh Sempai?”
“Precious, couldn't you think of a better word than that?” Jessica mumbled under her breath as she frowned. Did he really just call her precious? First cute, now precious; she could deal with cute, but precious was a bit to far for her. You call things precious when things are little and adorable, like a nine-year old girl. Perhaps Tobi didn't figure it out yet, but she was over seven years past that description!
“Hnm, I'm thinking we'll probably continue on our search tomorrow, yeah.” Deidara stated, ignoring his partners ravings. “You seem well enough to get around now.”
“I suppose so,” she replied as she thought about how sore her muscles were. “When would we leave?”
“Sometime in the morning,” the blond said as he glanced down at her.
“Alright then, we'll finally leave this place. I'm so sick of that room now,” Jessica said with a bit of relief as she thought of never seeing the bland room ever again. “Lord, thanks for the new outfit; I was getting really sick of the other one beside the fact that it needs to be washed. Thank you also that we actually get to leave! Yes, finally! I just want to destroy or at least redecorate that room so badly now; I don't know if I'd be able to live in that place any longer than we have already!” She prayed in her head as she and Deidara then waited for Tobi to get food from a stand he ran over to seconds beforehand. “Just help me to be able to stand living with these two for what seems to be the rest of my life now… heh, scratch that; save me from living with these two!”
