Chapter 1:Him

Sakura did not sleep. Her dreams were filled with old memories, bad memories, memories about.... Sakura sat up in her bed. No, she shouldn't think about him. He had hurt her too much. She rubbed her temple with her index finger and middle finger. "Get out.... come on!" Sakura cried. She looked over at her digital clock. It was time to go to work. As a ninja!

She shot out of bed and dressed in her normal clothing. she leaped down the stairway, short, pink hair flying behind her. She grabbed her breakfast and scarfed it down. She ran out the door, shuriken holder strapped to her leg, battle-ready.

She ran down the street, saying hello to friendly townspeople. She jumped onto a building and disappeared, heading towards the forest clearing, where Naruto and Sasuke sparred, waiting for Kakashi, who was late, as always.

He looked up from where he was purchasing fruit from Ino, who was at her part-time job at Konoha Vegetables and Fruit. "Excuse me, Ino" He gave her his money, and disappeared, following Sakura.

Ino stared at the spot where he disappeared. How would he have known her name? Unless....
"No way!" Ino shook her head, tears welling in her eyes, " Not again! Why've you come back?"She wiped her tears and took off her apron.

"Shikamaru!" Ino called.

"What?"Shikamaru glared at her. " I'm waiting."

"I'm getting off early! Apoligize to Sensei for me!"

"Why are you getting off?"

Ino stared at him, tears threatening her eyes." He's back."She rushed away from the cart, heading towards the forest.

Sakura sensed something, so, as she jumped from branch to branch, she made hand signs: Substitution should work to get me out trouble!, she thought as she finished the signs.

She shivered. The memories of her dream were coming back.... He was following her. And he was about to get her, too, using his special jutsu to slow her down. Memory Raider. Eventually, she fell through the branches. When she hit the ground, she cried. Not of pain, not of agony. Of pure misery. That he had caught her. She had substituted, but she merely did nothing to move away. He had caught her. Nightmares were coming true. Hosuke Nokomaru.
