“Target analysis of the unknown object is now complete… blood pattern has been confirmed blue.” Shigeru Aoba informs Misato as the other operatives did their jobs.

“It seems that the 6th angel is finally approaching.” Fuyutsuki said as he and Gendo entered the command room.

“So it does.” Gendo said while he adjusts his glasses. “Let’s send Eva unit one and the fallen child out to meet it.”

“Eva unit one prepare for launch!” Misato exclaimed as the others equipped Shinji for combat.

Naruto stood on unit ones head as he waited for the mission to begin.

“The target is now in range, now entering airspace over Lake Ashi.” Shigeru states.

“Eva unit one ready for launch.” Makoto inform the Misato.

“Then let’s move out!” Misato commands as both Shinji and Naruto are launched up to meet Ramiel.

Suddenly, Ramiel started to charge up a large amount of energy, which Shigeru had picked up on.

“I’m getting a high energy reading from within the target!” Shigeru exclaimed.

“Wait you mean it’s charging up?!” Misato asked as she and everyone else missed the grin that was present on Ritsuko’s face.

As they finally got to the surface, Naruto instantly sensed that they were in danger and Ramiel’s body started to change shape.

“Shit Shinji stay alert!!” Naruto proclaimed as he did a hand-seal.

“Wait what the” Shinji was then cut off as Ramiel fired a deadly particle beam at Shinji and Naruto that started to blow huge gaping holes into the builds in its path.

“NO!!! Naruto, Shinji look out!!!” Misato exclaimed as Naruto activated his jutsu.

The particle beam blasted a huge gaping hole into unit 1, knocking it off its feet and obliterated Naruto’s entire body.

Misato, Maya, Makoto, and Shigeru were beyond speechless, not being able to comprehend what had just happened.

‘No… Naruto can’t be gone… it’s not possible.’ Misato thought fanatically as she started shaking.

Maya looked about ready to cry as witnessing two children getting killed was almost too much for her.

Ritsuko who stood right behind Misato had a sadistic smile on her face, something that only Gendo noticed and caused him to raise his right eyebrow.

Gendo in fact found that her smile to be a little strange. Fuyutsuki noticed the look Gendo was giving to Ritsuko.

Once he turned to her, he also notice the smile as well, but decided that now wasn’t the time.

Ramiel then moved towards were Eva unit 1 had landed and fired another particle beam at it.

“AHH!!” Shinji exclaimed as unit 1 suddenly appeared out of nowhere and rammed into the side of Ramiel, sending it into a few buildings.

Futon: Byakko no kiba!” Naruto exclaims as he creates a tiger of wind at Ramiel.

The angel fired a lightning beam at the tiger of wind.

The Tiger and lightning blast exploded sending Ramiel through the building to the right from where the launch was.

Naruto who had been high in the sky when the attacks had collided, was able to avoid getting blown away.

Misato and the others all sighed in relief as Naruto and Shinji were safe, however this seemed to add more questions to the long list that Naruto has yet to really answer.

“Did we get it?” Shinji asked Naruto who suddenly appeared right on unit 1’s head.

“I doubt it, Ramiel’s body is way too strong to be destroyed by that attack’s backlash.” Naruto said.

True to Naruto’s word, Ramiel rose into the sky once again and was still relatively unharmed.

“Target is unharm colonel.” Shigeru said, stating the obvious.

“Dammit, Naruto, Shinji-kun you need to hit it harder than that!” Misato said causing a droplet of sweat to fall from the back of his head.

“We can see that Misato.” Naruto said as he unsheathes his swords.

'Okay Shinji are you ready!” Naruto asked as lightning started to spark from his blades.

“Yeah!” Shinji said as he held up a hand bazooka. Rei then contacted Naruto and Shinji through the communicator.

“Naruto, I am currently in position to take out Ramiel.” The girl informs them causing Naruto to grin.

“Roger that, I’ll distract it long enough for you to take it out in shot.” Naruto said as he sheathed his swords.

Suddenly Ramiel started charging up a massive amount of energy.

The Angel’s body then started to shift into an hourglass-like shape before adopting a shape resembling a three-dimensional cross with six arms and small discs floating over each.

“Shit Shinji move now!” Naruto said as he appears in front of unit 1.

“Wait what are you…?” Shinji asked as Naruto held out his hands in front of his body.

“What is Naruto-san doing?” Maya asked as Misato’s eyes widened as she knew what he was going to do.

“Naruto get out of there!” Misato exclaimed as Ramiel unleashed his thunder cannon.

“Rinnegan!!” Naruto exclaimed as activating the legendary Doujutsu.

Once the thunder cannon collided with Naruto, the force was so powerful that it blow away all the nearby buildings and unit 01.

“NARUTO!!” Misato exclaimed only to be rendered speechless as she noticed that the blast was being held at bay.

*Grunt* “Don’t worry I’m alright… just make sure Rei hit the bastard while I’m absorbing the blast!!” Naruto exclaims.

“Rei do it now!” Misato command as sweat rolled down her face.

Rei who was currently piloting unit 00 hidden behind some overturned building, was aiming an evangelion sized sniper-rifle.

“Centering on the target.” Rei states to herself as she fires the first shot right at the angel’s core.

Ramiel who had noticed the shot speeding towards him, was able to generate his AT-field and block the blast with relative ease.

“It didn’t work!” Shinji exclaimed in shock as Naruto finished absorbing the blast.

“I’m sorry, please forgive me.” Rei said as Naruto started to calm down his heavy panting.

“It’s alright, I had forgotten all about his AT-field.” Naruto said as sweat rolled down his forehead.

“No good, AT-field is still active.” Makoto informs Misato causing Misato to stomp the floor in frustration.

“Goddammit! The only way we are going to beat this thing is to destroy the core and we can’t seem to get pass it’s AT-field.

“The angel is charging up for another attack.” Shigeru informs Misato. “Lieutenant Katsuragi.” Gendo said gaining Misato’s attention.

“Have the fallen child stop the blast, while Shinji moves in to take out its AT-field so that Rei can destroy its core.” Gendo instructed.

“What! Sir that’s way too dangerous, and I don’t believe Naruto can handle another blast that powerful.” Misato said as she had noticed that Naruto seemed to be exhausted.

“Besides Shinji only has thirty seconds left.” Misato said as Shinji had lost his umbilical cord.

Suddenly, Ramiel fired a particle beam at Naruto, hoping to destroy the child that stood in its way.

“Shinji you have your orders!” Naruto said as he held up his arms and stopped the beam and began to absorb it.

“Go now!!” Naruto commanded as Shinji activated his progressive knife. Shinji then ran at Ramiel.

“AH!!” The boy exclaimed as he got within range of Ramiel and thrusts his knife into the AT field, while activating his own to neutralize it.

“He’s all yours Rei!” Shinji exclaimed as Rei fired another shot at Ramiel’s core.

“Did Rei get it this time?” Misato asked.

*Screech* Ramiel started to spew blood everywhere before it shape-shift and fired three massive blasts at Naruto, Rei and Shinji.

“AHH!!!!!” Shinji screamed as he was send into a hill. After he had landed Shinji lost consciousness.

Naruto managed to absorb most of the blast, however the force had been powerful enough to send him flying more than fifty feet away.

“Shinji! Naruto!! Rei!!” Misato called out to the children only to receive no answer.

Rei had been sent into a nearby lake and lost all movability in her Eva.

“Shinji’s alive but he’s unconsciousness, and unit 00 has lost all movability.” Shigeru said.

“What about Naruto?” Misato asked hoping that he was still alive.

“Naruto’s communicator was destroyed and I can’t get a reading on his energy!” Makoto said.

“Do you think that Naruto may have been killed?” Maya asked in worry as no human could survive that attack.

Her mindset regarding Naruto was no matter how strong he was, the child was still human and could easily die.

“No he is still alive, he has to be.” Misato said. Shigeru then got everyone’s attention.

“The angel is advancing towards us.” Shigeru exclaims.

True to his word Ramiel was now floating above, Nerv HQ and started to drill its way down to central dogma.

The target has started its attack, from directly overhead.” Makoto informed the others.

“It’s drilling straight down to the Geofront.” Makoto said.

“The bastard is looking to hit us where we live, it’s coming right for Nerv HQ” Misato said, her voice filled with irritation.

Suddenly, Shigeru started to pick up an enormous energy reading.

“Lieutenant colonel, I’m picking up a huge energy reading, coming from fifty feet away from the battle zone.” Shigeru said.

Naruto was currently found in a ditch. His clothes were completely torn and he had cuts and bruises all over his chest.

If the wasn’t bad enough, both of his swords had been completely destroyed with the only thing remaining were the hilts that he still held in his head.

*Growl* “Damn that fucking Rubik-cube.” Naruto growled in anger as he got back up on his feet.

Naruto’s body then started to glow with a golden hue as his Rinnegan seemed turn black with red rings.

Naruto snapped the sword hilts in two and let them drop to the ground as his finger nails suddenly turned into claws.

Naruto’s fangs grew and his ears became pointed at the end.

Naruto golden blond hair start to grow longer and more wild and unruly, to the point where his hair looked more like untamed spiky fur.

Naruto’s Jinchurriki seal started to spread across his chest, and arms and his whiskers grew thicker and darker.

The sky started to turn black as if it were affected by the demonic transformation of the descendant of darkness.

“I’m going to devour you!!” Naruto roared as he blitz towards Ramiel, while almost breaking through the sound barrier.

Naruto appeared right under Ramiel and slashed clean through his drill with his bare hands that was ignited in Amaterasu flames.

*SCREECH!!!* Ramiel cried out in pain as blood started to pour from where the drill once was.

Naruto grinned before he created a dome of black fire, which blocked the Battle from Misato and the others.
“It’s Naruto! He’s okay” Maya exclaimed in relief, still calm because she hadn’t seen Naruto’s face all that clearly.

“Yes it was him, however he seems to be emitting that enormous energy reading?” Makoto asked Shigeru who confirmed it.

‘Thank goodness all of my children as alive.’ Misato thought as she waited for Naruto to bring both Rei and Shinji home.

“You’ve hindered my plans for the last time Demon… no I think it’s appropriate to call you half-breed.” Ramiel sneers in anger as he changes back into his human form.

“This is the end of the line for you, and whether you like it or not this is where you are going to die.” Naruto said as he stared hauntingly into Ramiel’s eyes.

Ramiel started to convulse in lightning as he his anger reached its peak. “You worthless half-breed!” Ramiel roars as he created a spear of lightning.

“Now die!” Ramiel exclaimed as he rush Naruto who just stood there with his eyes closed.

Suddenly as Ramiel was just three seconds away from piercing Naruto through the head, chakra chains shot out from the earth and wrapped around his arms and legs.

“What is this!?” Ramiel asked as he tried to struggle and break free. Then without warning Naruto send a wood spear straight through the stomach.

“AH!!” Ramiel cried out in pain as LCL started pouring from him.

“Damn… you…” Ramiel said cursing Naruto’s name as the demon walked up to him.

Naruto then summons a huge blood-red scythe and cleaves Ramiel in two at the waist.

Ramiel cried in agony as his LCL poured to the ground.

“It hurts doesn’t it? Make sure to favor this feeling as it will be the last thing you will ever experience.” Naruto said with a cruel demonic grin on his face.

“Hehehe you think, you’ve won here, but even when you kill me, another one of my kind will come for your head” Ramiel proclaimed.

“End the end, your new found power will change nothing, the lilin shall all die in the name of the Ah!” Ramiel’s speech was cut short as Naruto sank his teeth into the angels shoulder and tore off the arm.

“AHHHH!!!” Ramiel cried as he was ripped apart by Naruto. “And that’s checkmate Ramiel.” Naruto said as he grabbed the angel by the head.

“Now then it’s time to find Shinji and Rei.” Naruto said as he ripped the angel’s core from his chest and then began to eat it.

As the wall of black flames finally dispersed, Misato, Makoto, Maya, Shigeru, Gendo and Fuyutsuki were finally able to learn the outcome of the battle that had taken all day.

Naruto stood at the center of the destruction with his back turned to them. The only thing that remained of the angel’s body was the pool of blood on the ground.

They then took notice of Naruto and were beyond speechless as they notice that he had gone through some kind of transformation.

“Is… is that really Naruto?” Maya asked Misato who didn’t know how to answer the girl.

‘There is no mistaking it that is Naruto.’ Misato thought as the others all tensed as Naruto turned so they could get a glimpse of his face as he turned back to normal.

Naruto blinked twice before he flashed them a mischievous grin, which would have been reassuring if not for the trail of LCL running from his mouth.

Rei had just regained consciousness when her entry plug had been breach by Naruto.

Rei are you alright.” A worried Naruto called out to the girl who turned to face the boy. “Naruto-san? Rei asked as she stared into those radiant azure blue eyes.

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t of much help to you and I failed to destroy the angel with my second shot.” Rei said as she hung her head.

“Naruto just sighed before he jumped into the entry plug, making a splash in the LCL that flooded it.

Naruto them trekked over to Rei and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a hug.

“Thank the goddess that you are safe Rei, I don’t know what I might have done had you have gotten hurt or killed.” Naruto said causing Rei eyes to widen before she turned her head away.

“Huh Rei what wrong?” Naruto asked the socially awkward girl. “It’s just that… I don’t know what to do in these kinds of situations.” Rei said.

Naruto blinked for five seconds before he placed his hand on his chin as he thought about it.

“Well you can start by smiling.” Naruto said causing Rei to look towards him with a surprised expression on her face.

Rei was then remained of that feeling she had that morning and gave Naruto a genuine smile.

Naruto smiled as well as he held his hand out for her to take it. “Now then let’s head back, Shinji will wake up soon and he and Misato will be waiting for us.” Naruto said.

Rei just nodded her head as she took Naruto’s hand.

Ritsuko returned home that night and began to destroy everything in her living room.

She broke her couch in two with a heel drop, blasted a hole into her TV, set her table on fire and three her vase at the wall, causing it to shatter and the water spilled everywhere.

“Curse that damn half-breed, he is hazardous to our ambitions.” Ritsuko said before she walked to her room.

“There must be something done about him or we will become food for him as well.” Ritsuko said as she went to go take a shower.

“Begin entry plug sequence. Initializing LCL ionization. Plug depth stable at default value. Autonomous systems are a go. Recharge voltage has cleared the threshold.”

“Launch prerequisites achieved. Synchronization rate requirements are a go.”

“Pilot, please specify linguistic norm for cognitive functions.”

“Well, it’s my first time so I’ll go with Japanese.” The pilot said, which is ironic because of the fact that she is American.

In the western part of the world in an organization that like Nerv, battles against the angels, a girl could be found, within a test model evangelion.

Evangelion Provisional Unit-05 is the first Evangelion unit which is not built with a humanoid-like appearance.

This is due to the due to the fact that this unit wasn't fully completed.

Its upper body is fairly similar to the other Production Model Evangelions with its V-shaped torso armor with its head bearing a conical helmet with a glowing yellow visor.

However the unit has completely mechanical arms, with its left "hand" being a claw and its right one a spear. Its shoulder pylons are also different from the other ones in that they are used to gather energy rather than store weapons.

Its lower body is entirely made of prosthesis, with its "legs" being four appendages each equipped with a wheel at their end. These appendages are also equipped with thrusters to facilitate the maneuvers of this Eva.

Provisional Unit-05 has a light grey and green color scheme, with some glowing yellow details throughout its body. It should be noted that the green color scheme seems to be only present on the prosthetic limbs and the light grey on the biological parts.

Due to the Eva's inhuman appearance, the pilot is required to use a special equipment with tubes attached to the wrists and a large helmet for movement.

“Ichi, Ni, Ichi can you hear me?” The pilot ask speaking fluent Japanese.

“Roger.”

The pilot’s seat was then pulled back and the entry plug scenes activated.

“Sorry we couldn’t get you the new model suit this time.” A man said through the communicator.

The pilot started squirming uncomfortably in her seat. “Or a plug suit that actually fits my chest.” She said.

“If I were you I’d be more concerned about heading to face an angel in that scrapped together prototype of an Eva.” The man said.

“I’m just glad that I get to pilot something finally.” She said to the man.

“Well you’ve earned it problem child, so good luck.” The man said before cutting communications as she got ready to move out.

“This is so exciting! Oh man, listen to that hum!” She said as she could barely contain herself.

“Now, then Evangelion Provisional Unit 05, activate!” The girl said as he headed to meet the angel.

The angel had just breached HQ and was destroying everything.

“How could a containment system as secure as Cocytus be neutralized by an angel?” the commander of the Nerv branch asked.

“Not only was it possible, it was inevitable.” A man by the name of Kaji Ryoji informed the commander.

“The fact is humankind is just not capable of containing the angels on its own.” Kaji said with an amused look on his face.

“We’ve stripped this thing down to the bone while studying it, all that seemed to do was make it angry enough to break through your containment system and go rampaging through your lab.” Kaji said much to their shock.

“So then boys, good luck Kaji said as he felt them to their fate.

“And there it is, deploy field!” The girl said as she and the angel headed towards each other.

What remained of the third angel’s original appearance was a skeleton with skull, spine, and insect like limbs.

The Angel has very long neck and tail sections, with a deeply curved, bulbous vertebral mid-section, held in alignment by a gold-plated brace, to which its four arms and four legs attach.

The skull possesses three mandibles and houses the core.

“AHH!” The pilot exclaimed as she came within range of the angel and jabbed at it with her weapon.

The angel manage to parry her attack and rush right passed her, much to her dismay.

“Goddamn this thing is still not responsive.” She complained as she turned her Eva around and went after the angel.

“Alright I guess we’ll just have to do this the hard way!” She exclaims as the angel broke through a door to a large room and activated its halo and flow out of its prison.

“No you don’t!!” The pilot proclaimed as she activated her Eva’s boosters and shot off towards the third angel and used her lance to stab it in the neck vertebrae, pinning it against the Nerv branch building.

The angel then turned its head towards the Eva and blasted it in the face at point blank range.

“Ah! Shit that really hurt… if this wasn’t so much fun!!” The pilot proclaimed as she used her other hand to crack open the angels skull and grab ahold of its core.

“Time is almost up, so I better make this snappy!” She said, as she noticed that she only had twenty seconds left and started to crush the core.

“And this damn thing is starting to fall apart on me!” She said referring to the Eva and her suit.

The angel tried to remove her by using an eye blast, but it only succeeded in ripping of the Eva’s legs.

“Oh, Fine! You wanted it so I’ll just give you the damn arm!” She said as she let go of the lance and grabbed the core with both hands.

Unit 05 continued to fall apart as she tried to kill the Eva, and so was her plug suit.

“That’s enough, just fucking die!!!” She exclaimed as crushed the core and then hit the eject bottom as the angel and unit 05 exploded into a cross.

“So unit 05’s self-destruct programmed triggered without so much as a hitch.” Kaji said to himself.

“It’s all going to plan. But still, it’s a shame that we have to use all these kids to carry out the adult’s dirty work.” Kaji said as he turned to look at the carrying case that he was bringing to Nerv Japan.

“Ow, that hurt… the girl that was piloting the Eva said as she climbed out of the eject plug.

“Synchronizing with an Eva was ten times more brutal than they had warned me about.” The child said as she removed the helmet.

Mari Illustrious Makinami is a stylized brunette with glasses and "twin tails". She had a pretty face and she looked to be around 15-16.

One of her lenses on her glasses was cracked and she had blood running down her forehead.

“Well, I’m alive so it’s all good.” Mari said as she turned to admire the beautiful cross-shaped explosions the Eva and angel left behind.

“Still, I do feel kind of bad about using these adults to get what I want.” Mari said as she bid farewell to Eva unit 05.

“Bon voyage unit 05, you’ve served us well.” Mari said.

Holy Shit I didn’t expect that first fight to take that long.
Naruto has awakened his partial devil form and has a strong urge to devour angels.
Rei is finally showing some positive emotion. How strong will her Naruto and Shinji’s friendship get now?
Isn’t Ritsuko supposed to be dead, and whose ambitions are she referring you.
Mari as made her debut, what is her goals and how will she interact with the other Children.
So many questions to answer in the next installment.
